The screens show it's clearly a mobile touchscreen game, and Wii U and 3DS not ruled out usually means not gonna happen.

Doesn't look very interesting right now, but I hope they make something good out of it. The world needs more futuristic racing games, especially now that WipEout and F-Zero have been cryonically frozen.

Vicious Cycle isn't known for making great games, but this could very well be their worst yet.

Isn't it so that if you buy a game on Wii VC, you need buy it again twice if you want to play it on 3DS and Wii U(on Gamepad, not Wii mode). They should change that first.

It should really include a single player experience like LBP did. Even if it's just a simple collection of worlds based on each of the SM games included.

@Ryu_Niiyama But you can play it on the Wii U, so there's no reason for them to invest in a Wii U version. They already have experience with the Wii so this was the easiest and most cost effective way to have access to both all Wii and all Wii U owners. It's doubtful such niche title would earn them their Wii U investments back.

Just looked up their earlier titles and they are absolutely terrible. So I have very low expectations of this. I might've bought if it was gonna be a decent squash game.

@McoobabWATP Or even the originals on cartridge. The only way for Nintendo to really make good use of Amiibo's is Amiibo game. Even Lego is now getting one, so Nintendo has to catch up.

It looks like Syndicate because it's more zoomed out than it would've been in game. During the game it would've only shown a small part of the enviroment similar to Super Mario RPG.

@Donjwolf I wouldn't describe the game as cartoony either. It's not cel-shaded or something else very obvious, it just looks like they changed the in-game graphics be a little more cartoony than the other games in the series.

It looks like they made this 3DS version more cartoony than the other games. I have the PS2 one and I think that looks better. I was curious about the 3D effect but if it's not really there it doesn't have much going for it except for the portability.

Must've been one great party.

This is a budget buy for me. If it ever reaches budget prices.

Personally I don't care for COD, but it would be nice to see a big third party title return. The Wii U has now sold about 10 million and the previous COD's on Wii U didn't sell that bad so the investment would be worth it.

For factual correctness I need to mention that there are better NES intro's like Ninja Gaiden II's.

From the looks of the game the main Solstice influence is in the graphics.

A better day in the future life of a Nintendo gamer: Boot system, start game, play game, stop game, shut down system, check mobile phone for messages or calls, move on with rest of the day.

I don't buy DLC or do microtransactions. So I only care if it impacts my full game experience. I especially hate if a game you paid full price for shows the DLC content ingame but it's grayed out always reminding you it's there for you to buy even if you play offline.

The website of Layton 7 mentioned the 3DS this morning, but the page was updated later and now any 3DS mentions have been removed. I think it's fair to say there's not going to be a 3DS version anymore.

They should release an entire boxset with all episodes plus the Saturday Supercade DK & DK Junior cartoons, instead of just releasing 1 season of this.

@Pinemeowth Scores are important. When games have important stories like RPG's I usually don't read the reviews because of spoilers and just read the scores and +/- summaries at the bottom. People just need to learn a 7/10 isn't a bad score, it just means that the reviewer thinks there are a few noticeable issues that hold the game back from being the best possible experience it should've been. And in good reviews those issues are properly explained and you can determine if they will impact your experience too.

I didn't like what I saw of the game that much , and that it's still easy and doesn't get the most out of the concept confirms my desire not to buy this game.

@Kasplat That 100 will include all transformations and fusions as seperate characters, so reaching the number isn't that hard.
This sounds promising, at least more than any of the recent console DB titles.

Mad World 2 (in black&wite and red, not just Anarchy Reigns 2)
Vanquish 2
a spiritual successor to Viewtiful Joe or Okami.
A new IP.

I'll be buying one because of the super stable 3D, extra buttons and improved 3d camera. But, because XC is only on the New 3DS thanks to the improved hardware, that also counts.

@Ralek85 Assault Horizon Legacy + has nothing to do with Assault Horizon. It's actually a remake of Ace Combat 2, but with a terrible and confusing name (in the west).

Maybe they can save some money and not bring Devil's Third to the west and do bring Fatal Frame IV & V to us. I'd like to play Devil's Third, but I'd gladly trade it in.

Yet nr. 1 is a new PS3 title selling 10 times more than the Wii U game.

I don't expect Kirby to do much better in the west. It's too much of niche title and I'm personally not interested either.

I'm not really a fan of multiplayer gaming, so 'meh' all the way.

I'll probably get Code Name S.T.E.A.M., Yoshi's Woolly World and Devil's Third, but only if the singleplayer in those games turns out to be good.

I'd rather see a Excite Bots 2 on Wii U or EB 3D on 3DS. Maybe a succesful Wii U digital release would help make that a reality.

This has little to do with love, and more with an obsession with collecting. If he loved Nintendo more than all of us, he wouldn't collect all these Nintendo consoles/games on a shelf, but share them with people who aren't familiar with Nintendo.

I just hope the follow-up is still a way for me get rewards and not a way to make me pay to play games online. I don't care about discounts and free borrowed digital games, I just want to play online for free. PS4 & Xbox One mean I'll never play a game online on Sony or MS consoles ever again.

I always like website where you collect points when purchasing to get some cool stuff, and Club Nintendo did just that. Instead of shutting it down, they should've just modernized it.

I don't really care for the use of Amiibo's so far. There really needs to be a good amiibo-based game instead of just gimmicky features (that some games even allow you to unlock without amiibo's anyway). So far I might just get two amiibo's this year, but just to put next to my Wii U as figurines.

Too bad it didn't work. Sounds a lot more exciting than RE4 and especially better than it's sequels.

@Shiryu They could use the Gamepad screen as the entire front panel of a cockpit. And ofcourse use the Wii mote as a flightstick. There's all kinds of possibilities, but so far it doesn't look likely to happen.

@Shiryu I doubt that will happen. They first turned AC reboot into a COD action overdose game on PS3/360 and then into a free-to-play game on PS3. They obviously want to find a more accessable way of bringing AC to a bigger audience. The Wii U doesn't really fit into that model. Another AC on 3DS is more likely and I'd prefer that over the last two console takes on the series.

@Frank90 It went wrong during the FE reveal, because the opening looked like it was going to be SMTxFE, so all was disappointing to a degree after that first blow.
