Definitely a cool idea but I’m not risking my switch. I don’t trust any dock other than Nintendo’s. If you’ve want a small dock that is guaranteed to not brick your system you should buy an official dock and perform a shell replacement.

This would explain things. Like how I always seem to come in first on what should be an even playing field. It also infuriates me since mkt is online only. It made sense since you were racing against others, now that I know that's not true, I really want the ability to play offline.

@Mykillvee Mario Run was built from the graphics from new super Mario Bros U not the other way around. One reason Mario Run could be free was because it reused a lot of assets from New Super Mario Bros U and so they didn't have to pay anyone to create assets.

Let's do some math.
The switch will probably not last more than 8 years from when online launched so let's pretend that you will be using online for 8 years to get an upper limit so that's $160 divide that by 30 and you get $5.33 per nes game, that seems perfectly valid.

@rjejr Ok, I still agree that locking mew behind it is complete BS. It's a nice controller but no-one should be forced to purchase a controller just to 100% a game.

When Nintendo put a splatfest the same day as Pokemon let’s go, I thought it was an accident, like the Splatoon 2 team forgot when Pokémon lg was releasing. But now I’m convinced that Nintendo just doesn’t want us to play in their events. Might I point out that ARMS is a fighting game, and so is smash, although yes, one is a 2D fighting game and one is 3D, But it still seems really stupid

@rjejr The joy con doesn't have a speaker, also a joycon can't be used on Pokemon go which the pbp can. Also the pbp needs internal memory to store which Pokemon is on it as well as it's cry and have some sort of processor on the controller to be able to calculate how the Pokemon should react to you which probably all adds up to $10

How do you know that these "leaks" weren't intentionally created by Nintendo? Isn't that what happened with Meltan?

@rjejr Chill. Forcing players to use certain modes is nothing new for Nintendo, cough cough Splatoon. Also why should it be $20. It’s basically a joycon with less buttons, rgb lights, a speaker and Pokémon go support, that probably adds $10 to the already $40 joycons.

My question is whether retailers can reset it, or will buying a used pbp(once it is old enough to be used) not come with mew? I mean, I already purchased the pbp but if retailers can reset it then I could get a used one, removed mew from it, return it for full price(they let you do that for a week with used items at GameStop) and get infinite mew.

@WaffleKnight yep I hate setting clicking of thumbsticks being a major button used in the game. Some games like Splatoon 2 use it well where it is used for special weapons you don't use constantly. but when I was trying Rainbow six siege at a friend's house, it used them to angle the player when aiming, and I really didn't like it. I ended up remapping my friend's Xbox One Elite controller(which I was using), to use the back triggers for thumbstick clicks, just to make it bearable.

I have my wifi router in the main floor of my house, and my dock set up in my bedroom so I couldn't use a wired connection. But couldn't you use a usb-c otg adapter for handheld/tabletop play.

A new spin on the roller perhaps? Kinda like the opposite of the brush, focusing more on power, than speed. Either way it looks really cool.
