Not all or even most farms take the calf away and slaughter it. Separating the calf from the mother stresses out the mother, to the point of becoming unruly, and may not produce milk at all.
Even so, the cow produces more milk than the calf needs. Calves need 10% of their body weight, which is 1-2.5 gallons, while the cow produces 6-7 daily. They produce milk for about 610 days, with the calf being weaned by 7-8 months of age.

@BaffleBlend You're spot on with Mii's being really ok news, but you're nuts if you think it's been on their minds since not long after SMB came out. 30yrs ago would be the tail-end of 1985.
@piichan They published the virtual console games, so it seems they unfortunately still have the rights to everything related to past games.
On the bright side, people aren't completely oblivious of the situation, I've seen people spreading the word online. so Its just brick n' mortar retail I'd be worried about.
@Tsuchinoko The only problem with Linkle (or any character really) reincarnating as a sibling to Link is it could possibility make some future situations a bit weird, namely if they ever wanted to make her a possible love interest.
She's technically not related to him in this one wouldn't be much different that "she's technically over 1,000 years old" for most people if you catch my drift. At best it'd be like what happened between Marty Mcfly and his mother.
@Artwark Monster Hunter started on Playstation, and has actually been more successful than ever with Nintendo, so I wouldn't worry about that one bit.
I wouldn't want Nintendo to buy Capcom, much less Monster Hunter. That would mean Capcom would have to answer to them when it comes to everything, from game design to localization and if/when it gets made.
Nintendo isn't much better about handling less popular series either, MH could just as easily become the next F-Zero or Metroid.
@PanurgeJr
Unless you actually like any of the themes that get arbitrarily excluded. Regardless of how trivial something is NOA shouldn't be doing stuff like this.
Gotta love how some people feel the need to declare if something is important or not though eh? It actually implies the opposite, making it rather counterproductive.
@DarthNocturnal I get all that, my point was we weren't really supposed to have it in the first place, IV's weren't meant to be messed with so that's something you can thank the fanbase for. The fanbase is basically doing the exact opposite of what they're intended for, which is to keep stats varied. Its part of how the games generate Pokemon.
They can't really do anything about it now without ditching previous games' Pokemon like gen 3 did, which obviously would likely be a deathblow to the series.
@DarthNocturnal Considering they've been around from the start and wasn't even intended to be known about (not like it is anyway), that honor should probably belong to natures.
@sillygostly I thought so. The dual energy thing lasted a while if I remember right.
As I already said, there aren't really any disadvantages to that typing. Dragon and fire cancel most of flying's weaknesses, besides ice and rock, which its already weak to anyway. Its already a top-tier threat as is without getting nearly free levitate, since it loses it's ground weakness.
This is a case where realism conflicts with game balance. Most games don't mess with more than one element per creature for a reason, let alone 3. It doesn't necessarily make it more realistic anyway since Pokemon don't need to be of a certain type to have the associated characteristics.
@sillygostly You mean like how the TCG made dual energy Pokemon?
The problem with that is the TCG Pokemon only ever have one type and weakness at a time, they just use another energy type.
Adding a 3rd permanent type could easily break the games. Take mega Charizard X for example, you'd be removing it's ground weakness and neutralizing flying's weaknesses. There's no downside besides a bigger rock weakness, while others would just end up nerfed.
Not to mention it'd just make things more convoluted and needlessly complex. There are already items, moves, and abilities that have similar effects.
@ikki5 Yu-Gi-Oh? Maybe. Digimon, I seriously doubt it, definitely not world-wide. Maybe in Japan, it was still pretty big there, just like other otherwise niche series like Dragon Quest or Tales of.
I could see Yo-Kai Watch rivaling Pokemon in Japan to some degree, but I doubt it'll get anywhere near as popular Pokemon was in it's hay day. In Japan they they still do Pokemon themed stuff, like that gym or the Pokemon train.
Its probably an exclusive dark version just for Pokken, like the TCG often does. Doesn't Tekken also tend to do dark versions of its characters too? That's likely where the idea came from, the TCG ding it just makes it that much more believable.
I hope this also means regular Mewtwo is playable, if not this one as well. Maybe even Mewtwo Y since this one is based on X.
@DekuOnion Doesn't surprise me one bit, people are much more health conscious than they used to be. Enough so that popular name-brands are wising up.
Pokemon has always done McDonald's promotions though, so I doubt that's why they're doing it. Remember the Pokemon toys from back in the day, or the gold-plated cards? Those were also done to coincide with movies.
@Caryslan I think this just goes to show that Nintendo thinks that just because it works for Japan it'll work for everybody else. For some reason they don't seem to get that unlike Japan, most people in the world don't necessarily live down the road from these places.
McDonald's is HUGE in Japan, which might be why they chose it. On the bright side, they didn't say this requires a code. I can't imagine McDonald's would want to deal with them either.
@WaddleDeeWeegee It seems to me that Ash is upset over not being able to stand up to the mega Pokemon trainers, and Greninja is ashamed he failed. Hiding in water is a classic ninja trick, so I take he 'melts' into it and mega evolves due to Ash's tear unlocking the ability.
Ninjas are also supposed to be masters of disguise, so his mega might allow Greninja to copy his trainer's appearance, not just Ash's.
@Geonjaha Its not the ratings boards that made them do this, they simply rate it, and discuss what can be done if you want to change the rating. Beyond that its the developer's choice wether or not to change or censor things.
That little bit of insight came straight from XSEED, who are decidedly anti-censorship if you haven't heard yet.
@Xenocity Where are getting that from, the only figures released was the $80mil. These reports always lump actual development and marketing costs together, the latter usually making up around half.
I agree about the arms race though, this ridiculous Hollywood poor more in get more out mentality is getting out of hand.
@Discostew Are you actually paying attention to the complaints? If you were you'd see most of the "whining" as you put is over the pointless removal (which even NOA admits is silly) and Nintendo's apparent need to helicopter parent their adult audience.
A lot of people feel pretty strongly about censorship when it comes to localizations (and in general), particularly the niche crowd, which is the main target of a series like this.
I seriously doubt many people are pissed because they can't get their jollies from a bonus costume, especially with this being a horror game.
@Xenocity It was $80mil. according to reports, that's the last and only solid (no pun intended) number and definitely not massive budget for a AAA game. Marketing is usually included in the development costs.
It more likely has to do with Konami's focus on mobile games. $80mil. isn't expensive for a AAA game, but it is if you compare it to the budget and potential profit for other models. $80mil. could make a lot of mobile games or panchiko machines.
I could have sworn I hear a while back that RF5 was underway, or that the changes wouldn't effect it, not sure if it got postponed or what. Marvelous has the core team on-board though, so whatever they come up with should be good at least.
@Windy Rune factory is the only series they've really had going for quite a while, and while its growing the series is still somewhat niche. Either they had more expenses than one series could cover, or the parent company screwed up. Its possible they had their funding cut or something too.
As for the series rubbing you the wrong way, could it be the lack of direction? The games don't do too great a job telling you where to go or what to do to advance. The event for triggering arc 3 for example. Between that and Dolce's marriage events I'm basically stalling. The events are a bit too random at times.
@hobthebob While Pokemon has certainly become more complex over the years, I wouldn't say exceedingly so. Compared to most other RPGs the series is still pretty simple. Pokemon's complexity comes from giving the player a lot of options, that's about it.
Pokemon's design philosophy, starting with gen 4, has been being able to pick and choose what you want to do. Most new additions are kept optional, you don't need to participate in anything you don't want to to finish the game. The only time they're important is playing competitively against other players, mainly because those other players will use them.
They've also taken steps to make those things more accessible. The PokeNave Plus in ORAS for example, allows you to get egg moves and better stats without breeding. You just have to keep scanning and battling until you find what you want. Super Training turns grinding for effort values into simple mini games.
@blujay1524 The stunt pay isn't just for voice acting, but anything overly stressful. Some VA's have been forced to do mocap as apart of their session, so that part is setting a precedence for future jobs. Want the VA's to do mocap? Its going to cost extra.
The thing about nobody hiring voice actors way back then wasn't just due to limited resources. Not many games had much voice acting to begin with, ones that did didn't have much either, just an intro scene or something. Games didn't have much room for that sort of thing.
A game like Banjo Kazooie didn't need dedicated voice actors, not when the spoken dialog was all gibberish. Most games now are much more dialog and cut-scene heavy, so voice acting is more important to them. The only place its a commodity is smaller/indie games, for the same reason as the classics.
There's also a clause that companies can't just skirt around the new terms by just having employees do the work or something without going through the union. If that goes through it'll help protect the VA's you're referring to.
@AugustusOxy That's a pretty fair point, and one I can agree with somewhat.
I don't think its all bad, not all of these devs are "washed up", its just the company they were with before wouldn't allow them to make the kind of games they want to, and in turn their fans couldn't get them either. This is happening a lot actually, most AAA devs have lost key staff.
On the other hand, Zelda-like games are somewhat common, so finding games to scratch that itch isn't hard. Same goes for some other popular game styles, they aren't uncommon enough that you need a kickstarter just to find something.
@DarkJamD Somebody probably got a hold of one of his posters, this thing was supposed to coincide with PAX so some Pokemon Co. reps might have been there.
@Ankahet Problem with that is they could possibly sue him for defamation or something. People hearing about this will still damage their reputation though, and unfortunately for Nintendo people will associate The Pokemon Co. with them. They're already doing both in this very comment section.
Ok, for future reference since there's apparently a bit of confusion here, The Pokemon Co. International, while founded by the 3, are not Game Freak, Nintendo, or Creatures inc. They're a brand management company, stuff like this is primarily up to them alone.
I get that they're not too happy about the use of Pikachu and Snivy in the poster, but this is really excessive. No warning or anything, the guy willingly cancels the event, yet gets slapped with a 4k fine. I fail to see where a couple unapproved pictures equals that kind of damage, unless they're charging him a gross amount per flyer.
Sounds more like they're trying to make an example of him than anything, unless "damages" means they're mad about his cafe serving booze or something, which is none of their business. Its not like the flyers are promoting it.
@Morpheal Yeah, he canceled it as soon as he caught wind of the lawsuite. The amount has to come from the number of flyers, if he can't afford the payment there's no way he made that much from the party. I doubt he makes that kind of money very often if at all.
@starman292 I think they're technically supposed to be fire-based Gibdo, which at least in Majora's Mask can be unwrapped to reveal ReDeads. Their Japanese name is Gibdo or Flame Gibdo, while Hyrule Warrior uses Gibdo and ReDead almost interchangeably.
It seems maybe ReDead can be Gibdo but not the other way around, or in other words the is a mummy technically a zombie argument.
The climate isn't healthy? Yeah, that's it, that's definitely it, it certainly can't be the launch price being way too high, grossly over-priced memory cards adding to an already high asking price, or the lack of support. Nope, not at all.
Seriously though, the climate is weaker, but that doesn't mean dedicated handhelds can't succeed. Mobile took a bite out of handhelds mainly due to a big draw to them being cheap, and casual games you simply couldn't get anywhere else for a portable game.
Its not like that anymore, the DS was the last system where you actually needed a dedicated handheld for the types of games most casual users want. Stuff like Tetris and Brain Age can be done on modern phones just fine.
That mainly just leaves the more dedicated players, a lot of which aren't going to bother with a handheld with mostly the same games they can get on platforms they already own. There's some appeal to having a portable version, but most people want more than just straight ports, especially in the west where most people prefer consoles or PC anyway.
First off, he seems to still think "console" means a device that only plays games and nothing else. Consoles haven't been that for a long time, and there's nothing stopping consoles from becoming as multifaceted as any smart device. Them going away is a moot point.
Finally, what he's getting at is more or less like with smart devices or Steam Machines, they all run on the same core architecture but can be scaled up or down and made by anybody. In other words, closed vs. open platform. He's suggesting making AAA "console games", many of which aren't console exclusive to begin with, scaled down to high-end smart devices or lower and low-end PCs.
Most games can and already do what he's suggesting, they just all can't scale like Minecraft. I like Pachter, but he's nuts if he thinks its realistic. If it were, wouldn't most multiplat games be scaled down even more than they already are on PC? GTA V for example asks for just a Core2Quad, an early 2006 CPU.
I get what he's saying in the first half, but I don't see how a 10mil. difference is an indication that "real" consoles are going away. If we're talking dedicated game device they haven't been "real" consoles for close to a decade now.
What I don't get is what he's talking about it the last section. "All you need is a CPU, GPU, storage, controller, and a screen", what the heck does he think is inside a console? Hamsters?
People who won't or can't afford to buy a $399 dedicated console can already play a lot of the same games on PC. A lot of people already do so for that exact same reason. Many of them also had ports on last gen consoles too, giving people 5 different options.
He also seems to miss the fact that the main reason many people can even afford to consistently upgrade their phones is they can basically rent to own it though their service provider. The higher-end phones cost just as much or more than said consoles, and their size and mobility requirement limits their power. It takes multiple cycles for mobile to keep up.
You're not going to get the same power cheaper, even for PC that's a pretty tricky task to pull off. Consoles have nothing to do with what he's talking about, you're not going to magically fit games like GTAV or Black Ops 3 on mobile if they disappear.
"Claws of fury", its just how the line was said, and I don't see how the cat looks anything like meowth besides both being based on the lucky cat.
I don't see how anything you've said matches up for that matter. The art style is pretty different, its more like Shin Megami Tensei if anything, calling out attacks is rather typical for any fighting anime, and relative age is the only thing him and Ash have in common. Pokemon isn't the first game or anime game to use the battle and capture dynamic either.
Its basically Pokemon vs. Digimon all over again, right down to the show being stuck on a less popular channel, that's going to be the series' main problem. Its not even about understanding Japanese culture, just the fact that everything will be compared to the more popular series. Pokemon is the only popular or hugely successful series of this type, so as far as most people know or care it did do everything first.
@manu0 Yes. You do realize that patent was obviously filed way back when CRTs were still the norm, right? Also, why is it that the CRT of all things is what you found laughable and not, you know, the seat controller?
@rjejr Perhaps the clickable buttons are supposed to substitute for the second pair of face buttons. Its just a prototype after all, so they're just experimenting with whatever crazy idea pops into their heads.
@Artwark @CrazyMetroid The company started up within Nintendo, but there doesn't seem to be anything confirming wether or not they are or ever were independent. They are listed as as just a partner same as Game Freak or Platinum Games, and while they do own their new building, everything I've read talks about Intelligent Systems as if they're an entirely separate entity operating within and with Nintendo.
@John_Enigma Probably, since Z is a 3rd dimension in between X and Y. Unless they want to try and say ZX and ZY represent new ways of looking at the same ideas. X&Y are all about different ways of thinking.
@Kaze_Memaryu Its probably just a dub thing, DuArt Film & Video took over for 4Kids in NA in 2006. I wouldn't have a clue if they're still up to their old tricks or not.
I don't really have a problem with the designs, but why a dog for the 10% form? The only thing I can see is Zygarde being based on single-cell organisms gives them a convenient excuse to include other creatures from the world tree legends.
@John_Enigma The games are based on axis, so it won't be ZX or ZY.

While on some level they're seeking attention, PETA and it's followers are completely delusional about their cause and the 'good' they're doing.
They aren't pretending, what they're advising Nintendo to do are the very tactics they utilize.
PETA really likes using shock factor in their campaigns, they like to use scare tactics to bring people to their cause.
They're just a glorified cult.

Re: Nintendo Wins Bizarre Patent Case in Defence of Mii Characters
@BaffleBlend
You're spot on with Mii's being really ok news, but you're nuts if you think it's been on their minds since not long after SMB came out. 30yrs ago would be the tail-end of 1985.
Re: Video: Check Out This Footage of Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories
@piichan
They published the virtual console games, so it seems they unfortunately still have the rights to everything related to past games.
On the bright side, people aren't completely oblivious of the situation, I've seen people spreading the word online. so Its just brick n' mortar retail I'd be worried about.
Re: Linkle to be Considered for Future Legend of Zelda Titles
@Tsuchinoko
The only problem with Linkle (or any character really) reincarnating as a sibling to Link is it could possibility make some future situations a bit weird, namely if they ever wanted to make her a possible love interest.
She's technically not related to him in this one wouldn't be much different that "she's technically over 1,000 years old" for most people if you catch my drift. At best it'd be like what happened between Marty Mcfly and his mother.
Re: Monster Hunter X Has Outsold Monster Hunter 4G on the Japanese 3DS eShop
@Artwark
Monster Hunter started on Playstation, and has actually been more successful than ever with Nintendo, so I wouldn't worry about that one bit.
Re: Circle Entertainment Claims That Nintendo of America Only Allows Up to Four Themes Per 3DS Game
@PanurgeJr
Unless you actually like any of the themes that get arbitrarily excluded. Regardless of how trivial something is NOA shouldn't be doing stuff like this.
Gotta love how some people feel the need to declare if something is important or not though eh? It actually implies the opposite, making it rather counterproductive.
Re: Feature: Why We're Still Playing... Pokémon Gold / Silver / Crystal
@DarthNocturnal
I get all that, my point was we weren't really supposed to have it in the first place, IV's weren't meant to be messed with so that's something you can thank the fanbase for. The fanbase is basically doing the exact opposite of what they're intended for, which is to keep stats varied. Its part of how the games generate Pokemon.
They can't really do anything about it now without ditching previous games' Pokemon like gen 3 did, which obviously would likely be a deathblow to the series.
Re: Feature: Why We're Still Playing... Pokémon Gold / Silver / Crystal
@DarthNocturnal
Considering they've been around from the start and wasn't even intended to be known about (not like it is anyway), that honor should probably belong to natures.
Re: Feature: Why We're Still Playing... Pokémon Gold / Silver / Crystal
@KTT
The only method I know of is to basically use cheat devices to view the stats and replicate them on hacked Pokemon.
There's no way to legitimately do it, Pokemon from gen I&II are missing a few newer stats.
@DarthNocturnal
IV's have always been around, they were just hidden.
Re: Dark Mewtwo Gets Added to Pokkén Tournament Arcade Machines
@sillygostly
I thought so.
Re: Dark Mewtwo Gets Added to Pokkén Tournament Arcade Machines
@sillygostly
You mean like how the TCG made dual energy Pokemon?
The problem with that is the TCG Pokemon only ever have one type and weakness at a time, they just use another energy type.
Adding a 3rd permanent type could easily break the games. Take mega Charizard X for example, you'd be removing it's ground weakness and neutralizing flying's weaknesses. There's no downside besides a bigger rock weakness, while others would just end up nerfed.
Not to mention it'd just make things more convoluted and needlessly complex. There are already items, moves, and abilities that have similar effects.
Re: Yo-Kai Watch Will Be The Next Pokémon, Claims Viz Media
@ikki5
Yu-Gi-Oh?
Re: Dark Mewtwo Gets Added to Pokkén Tournament Arcade Machines
Its probably an exclusive dark version just for Pokken, like the TCG often does. Doesn't Tekken also tend to do dark versions of its characters too? That's likely where the idea came from, the TCG ding it just makes it that much more believable.
I hope this also means regular Mewtwo is playable, if not this one as well. Maybe even Mewtwo Y since this one is based on X.
Re: Pokémon Hoopa Distribution Confirmed for McDonald's in the US, XY & Z Anime Opening Emerges
@DekuOnion
Doesn't surprise me one bit, people are much more health conscious than they used to be. Enough so that popular name-brands are wising up.
Pokemon has always done McDonald's promotions though, so I doubt that's why they're doing it. Remember the Pokemon toys from back in the day, or the gold-plated cards? Those were also done to coincide with movies.
Re: Pokémon Hoopa Distribution Confirmed for McDonald's in the US, XY & Z Anime Opening Emerges
@Caryslan
I think this just goes to show that Nintendo thinks that just because it works for Japan it'll work for everybody else.
@WaddleDeeWeegee
It seems to me that Ash is upset over not being able to stand up to the mega Pokemon trainers, and Greninja is ashamed he failed. Hiding in water is a classic ninja trick, so I take he 'melts' into it and mega evolves due to Ash's tear unlocking the ability.
Ninjas are also supposed to be masters of disguise, so his mega might allow Greninja to copy his trainer's appearance, not just Ash's.
Re: Yes, Fatal Frame's Lingerie Outfits Have Been Removed From The Western Version
@Geonjaha
Its not the ratings boards that made them do this, they simply rate it, and discuss what can be done if you want to change the rating. Beyond that its the developer's choice wether or not to change or censor things.
That little bit of insight came straight from XSEED, who are decidedly anti-censorship if you haven't heard yet.
Re: It's Official, Hideo Kojima Has Parted Ways With Konami
@Xenocity
Where are getting that from, the only figures released was the $80mil. These reports always lump actual development and marketing costs together, the latter usually making up around half.
I agree about the arms race though, this ridiculous Hollywood poor more in get more out mentality is getting out of hand.
Re: Yes, Fatal Frame's Lingerie Outfits Have Been Removed From The Western Version
@Discostew
Are you actually paying attention to the complaints? If you were you'd see most of the "whining" as you put is over the pointless removal (which even NOA admits is silly) and Nintendo's apparent need to helicopter parent their adult audience.
A lot of people feel pretty strongly about censorship when it comes to localizations (and in general), particularly the niche crowd, which is the main target of a series like this.
I seriously doubt many people are pissed because they can't get their jollies from a bonus costume, especially with this being a horror game.
Re: It's Official, Hideo Kojima Has Parted Ways With Konami
@Xenocity
It was $80mil. according to reports, that's the last and only solid (no pun intended) number and definitely not massive budget for a AAA game. Marketing is usually included in the development costs.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_expensive_video_games_to_develop
It more likely has to do with Konami's focus on mobile games. $80mil. isn't expensive for a AAA game, but it is if you compare it to the budget and potential profit for other models. $80mil. could make a lot of mobile games or panchiko machines.
Re: XSEED VP Talks About the Future of the Rune Factory Series
I could have sworn I hear a while back that RF5 was underway, or that the changes wouldn't effect it, not sure if it got postponed or what. Marvelous has the core team on-board though, so whatever they come up with should be good at least.
@Windy
Rune factory is the only series they've really had going for quite a while, and while its growing the series is still somewhat niche.
Re: Feature: A Pokémon Retrospective: Generation 2 - 1999 to 2002
@hobthebob
While Pokemon has certainly become more complex over the years, I wouldn't say exceedingly so.
Re: Voice Actors Union Authorises Strike Action With Landslide 96.52 Percent Vote
@blujay1524
The stunt pay isn't just for voice acting, but anything overly stressful.
Re: Midora Developer Admits He Knew Kickstarter Funds Wouldn't Be Enough To Complete The Game
@AugustusOxy
That's a pretty fair point, and one I can agree with somewhat.
Re: The Pokémon Company Sues Fan for Copyright Infringement, Demands $4,000 in Damages
@DarkJamD
Somebody probably got a hold of one of his posters, this thing was supposed to coincide with PAX so some Pokemon Co. reps might have been there.
@Ankahet
Problem with that is they could possibly sue him for defamation or something. People hearing about this will still damage their reputation though, and unfortunately for Nintendo people will associate The Pokemon Co. with them. They're already doing both in this very comment section.
Re: The Pokémon Company Sues Fan for Copyright Infringement, Demands $4,000 in Damages
@Morpheal
Yeah, he canceled it as soon as he caught wind of the lawsuite. The amount has to come from the number of flyers, if he can't afford the payment there's no way he made that much from the party. I doubt he makes that kind of money very often if at all.
Re: Video: Did You Know Gaming? Explores The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
@starman292
I think they're technically supposed to be fire-based Gibdo, which at least in Majora's Mask can be unwrapped to reveal ReDeads. Their Japanese name is Gibdo or Flame Gibdo, while Hyrule Warrior uses Gibdo and ReDead almost interchangeably.
It seems maybe ReDead can be Gibdo but not the other way around, or in other words the is a mummy technically a zombie argument.
Re: Video: Did You Know Gaming? Explores The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
@starman292
They didn't completely remove them, they're in the Arbiter' Grounds and Cave of Ordeals as the ReDead Knight.
Re: Climate "Not Healthy" For Dedicated Handheld Games Consoles, Says Sony's Shuhei Yoshida
Re: This Is The Last Real Console Cycle, Proclaims Industry Analyst Michael Pachter
@MIDP
No, that's not what he's saying at all.
Re: Angry Sun Game Files Reportedly Uncovered In Super Mario Maker
@Sanasalin
Its not a patch, the assets are just already on the disc. Wether they're leftovers or for dlc is anybody's guess.
It doesn't give anything away either, its not their fault people like to snoop. Most people still won't know anyway, just forum goers like you and I.
Re: This Is The Last Real Console Cycle, Proclaims Industry Analyst Michael Pachter
Re: The Yo-Kai Watch Anime Starts In North America on 5th October
Re: New Nintendo Controller Patent Features Rotational Shoulder Buttons
@manu0
Yes. You do realize that patent was obviously filed way back when CRTs were still the norm, right? Also, why is it that the CRT of all things is what you found laughable and not, you know, the seat controller?
@rjejr
Perhaps the clickable buttons are supposed to substitute for the second pair of face buttons. Its just a prototype after all, so they're just experimenting with whatever crazy idea pops into their heads.
Re: Nintendo Is Merging Its Prized EAD And SPD Teams Into A Single Group
@Artwark @CrazyMetroid
The company started up within Nintendo, but there doesn't seem to be anything confirming wether or not they are or ever were independent. They are listed as as just a partner same as Game Freak or Platinum Games, and while they do own their new building, everything I've read talks about Intelligent Systems as if they're an entirely separate entity operating within and with Nintendo.
I did find this though.
http://www.wikiwand.com/en/List_of_Nintendo_development_teams
@Darthnocturnal
Pokemon Company inc. is partly owned by Nintendo. The above article I posted states they own 32%.
Re: The Pokémon Green Blob, New Legendary Zygarde and 'Ash Greninja' Are Detailed by CoroCoro Magazine
@John_Enigma
Probably, since Z is a 3rd dimension in between X and Y. Unless they want to try and say ZX and ZY represent new ways of looking at the same ideas. X&Y are all about different ways of thinking.
@Kaze_Memaryu
Its probably just a dub thing, DuArt Film & Video took over for 4Kids in NA in 2006. I wouldn't have a clue if they're still up to their old tricks or not.
Re: The Pokémon Green Blob, New Legendary Zygarde and 'Ash Greninja' Are Detailed by CoroCoro Magazine
I don't really have a problem with the designs, but why a dog for the 10% form? The only thing I can see is Zygarde being based on single-cell organisms gives them a convenient excuse to include other creatures from the world tree legends.
@John_Enigma
The games are based on axis, so it won't be ZX or ZY.
