User's created maps are more than enough, what DLC can they add?

Nintendo has an upcoming game that has something to do with Piranha Plant. They added it to Mario Tennis and Smash recently, Nintendo don't do things randomly: they are like the illuminati, everything is hidden in plain sight, just open your eyes.

OK just tried the game, it plays more like Trine than Rayman: you need to switch between characters to use their abilities. In Rayman Origins/Legends whichever character you choose is purely cosmetic, but in this game you need to constantly switch characters.

Art style is similar to Rayman, that's about it. The reviewer should have made that clear.

Mid-life crisis? Don't worry, buy a Nintendo Switch.

That should be the tag line.

@UnbreakableAlex Yes it's really not my concern, I shouldn't have criticized them as I downloaded the leak copy a week ago and played the entire game without paying them a cent. LOL.

@UnbreakableAlex So what? You see any shooting game using the same Doom's menu or animations? Nope. This Wargroove is copying every facets of AW and sprinkled some FE on top.

It's not just the gameplay, everything in the game including split screen fighting animations, sound bites, etc... it's practically using AW and FE as templates.

While the game is fun, the creators won't get any respect from me. Blatant ripping off Nintendo, nothing original at all. Copy and paste artists.

That's very few games in development. I thought with the Switch replacing both home console and portable will increase the number of 1st party games... guess not.

Nintendo, stop wasting time on your stability code and cardboard toy: get back to work!

(The lack of games announced can also be due to Nintendo working on something big in secret for quite a while. VR? 3D glasses? Who knows?)

All those man hours Nintendo wasted on 'stability' can be spent on improving the Switch like themes, folders, video player, more games, etc.

DRM and fighting against piracy will always be bad for the paying customers. In the end it achieves nothing but degraded experience for the customers.

Why are people still buying GTA 5?

I've never heard of this James Pond: Robocod game before.

I want AC: Unity. Let's see how they make 10,000 active NPCs work with Switch. Not even Panic Button will dare to port this game... especially running on that Unity engine.

This will be the easiest character for Sakurai to make, just a bunch of cubes.

@Kalmaro A lot of people made 'love letter' for Nintendo games in Unity and Unreal... they were all shutdown. Why did Nintendo allow this commercial game that outright ripoff their games? (FE is still very much alive and doing really well in the mobile platform.)

The game is good, just turn off the voice audio. However, it can't compare with AW or FE, it just doesn't have their personalities. The campaign is closer to FE than AW, there's also an arcade and puzzle mode. You can create your own map to share with other players, I haven't tried that yet.

While the voice is not as bad as Tiny Metal, it's still makes me cringe. They want to imitate FE's grunting, sneering soundbites but it's not done very well. Best to just turn off the volume entirely.

Playing Wargroove for 2 days already, will keep on playing for the weekend. This game wasn't just 'inspired' by Advance War, it took so much from Fire Emblem as well... some people said copying is the most sincere form of flattery, I wondered how Intelligent Systems feel about this? Why is Nintendo OK with someone stealing their idea?

Metroid will end up being a VR game.

Of course it's a good thing. You wouldn't want it to become Metroid Prime: Federation Force on 3DS.

Nintendo is planning to sell 3DS games on Switch. All they need is a 3D glasses and a tracking camera to make it work with any TV.

Broken robot girl and you have to fix her by playing a music game. Is this GRIS with rhythm? Also, most games these days are female oriented, if they use a male robot: it will be considered bad taste. Ever wondered why there are so many female protagonist in games now?

I bet Nintendo will soon introduced Maria, a female version of their mascot.

Nintendo is promoting Wargroove, an indie game that ripoff their Advance War. Other companies would take legal action but Nintendo is just happy someone is doing the work for them so they can spent time working on mobile games that earn money.

Not a good game. Tries too hard to be funny, when it failed... it just looks stupid. Mostly 90s in-joke that younger gamers won't understand.

Repetitive hack and slash but has no titillating visuals like Senran Kagura to sustain interest. (Now I know why they have busty girls in fighting games.)

Will they add any of the MK fighters to Smash as DLC? It's time to get a little heart-ripping action into Smash. I can't wait to rip Mario's head off.
