This art direction sucks, and the game does nothing interesting with the Mega Man formula. Asure Striker was better than this. I feel like the Mighty No. 9 Cartoon ruined the game's art style by making them too similar. The lighting looks janky, though the particle effects are OK. The gameplay looks fun, but very very generic. I regret backing this 5/10 game.

This demo will decide whether or not I buy the game. I am leaning towards no (Witcher 3 this month), but I would love to be proven wrong.

Nice try. After the sickening Project Goliath details, I have no sympathy for these idiots. The Mario project could end up being Smash bros. Sony has been trying to butter up Nintendo. Sony doesn't care about actors and director's behaviours. I am boycotting these people, My sympathy I had for them circa-The Interview is all gone.

Also, lol at the casuals who think the Twilight Princess situation is going to happen again. That was the sort of thing that could only happen as the result of a screwed-up development. Nintendo even acknowledged that the delay was to make it better. Imagine how good Twilight Princess would've been if Nintendo hadn't wasted time and money on it being on two consoles. Nintendo isn't going to make that mistake again, especially with how much development has already gone into this.

Honestly, this means they are announcing something massive at E3. Zelda is not in the show, which means there is a massive hole. Considering the amount of effort Nintendo's E3 Directs had put in them, and the amount of consoles they sold, they damn well know that screwing up this E3 would be their end, just like last year.
They need a crowd-pleaser. They need Metroid.

That having been said, Cult County's lack of financing is worrying. Kickstarter's golden days are well behind it at the moment, with all the high-profile failures and people getting unnecessarily cocky with stretch goals and financing. Kickstarter will have increasingly less relevance for the future of gaming, which is a bit of a shame.

@Melkac Honestly, if the ESRB ups the rating because of homosexual content (No more explicit than the straight relationships, mind you) then that would cause controversy a-plenty, arguably more so than the content itself.

SNES era: Sega challenged with marketing, failed because of too much add-ons.
N64 era: Sony won by virtue of having more developers, Nintendo still did OK
GC era: PS2 destroyed all, GC underwhelmed, Xbox did OK
Wii era: Xbox 360 looked to have the win by having decent price, good online, Halo 3, but lacked exclusives increasingly. Wii got successful casual niche. PS3 had shocking start, good final years

The ending will be Sony worship, mark my words. It will probably be biased towards sega, and will coincide with a sony/sega partnership. This sounds interesting, but Sony will probably mess it up.

@Rafie Fire Emblem Awakening is a masterpiece of strategy, with amazing tales of victory, defeat and impossible odds present in both gameplay and story. Whether or not you prefer that to something like Mario 3d world is up to you. I would rather they got rid of GTAV to make room for Fire Emblem.

Fire Emblem awakening is so much better than Mario 3d world. A shame it wasn't even nominated, but GTAV will steamroll the opposition, which also sets awful precedents for the industry (quantity over quality, sexism, etc.)

@Guybrush_Threepwood Destructoid also gave Kid Icarus Uprising and Mario Kart 7 5/10, so there opinion is a load of donkey.

@CaviarMeths This game IS clunky. Sonic Generations HD, and colors to a lesser extent, are far less clunky than this. They are genuinely good games. This is very much a mixed bag.

Tried this at the eb expo, this game is soo awesome.
