I played last night and, I’m trash. I wanted to use the switch-axe, but soon figured out that I’m wildly inept at it. I refuse to accept defeat though. After (barely) taking down my 1st monster, i felt compelled to become better. I’m blaming the button configuration though. I kept sheathing my weapon when I wanted to swing, mistaking B for jump and the like. It is a good game. I just suck

At 1st I thought Japan and then I swung to NA. I like that it lets you know exactly what you’re getting into. It’s like the box is saying, “Wondering what’s this game’s about..?
This.
Any questions?”

Seems like everybody is adopting the lame marionette style animation. It must be easier/cheaper to produce. I’m not a fan of this growing trend

Its kinda cool. I don’t like how the character animates though, seems like she’s missing some frames. Won’t dismiss it though. Will keep an eye on it.

One could say that they ‘jumped the shark’ with the guns. Should’ve left that out. Doesn’t seem to suit the game. I have no problem with guns in games. Just guns in this game. It begs the question... why?

I LOVE a good - bad review. It’s wonderfully entertaining to share in the reviewers’ misery. This game gets a 9/10 for unintended entertainment value. I’d like to personally thank the devs for this morning’s chuckle

Akane is worth more than what they’re asking for. It’s super addictive. Don’t sleep on it.

If it wasn’t Devolver, I’d look right past this. They have a pretty good track record. So, I’ll keep an eye on it. Just wondering if there’s more to it than what was just shown. If that’s all there is to it, it could get stale quickly.

It’s not my genre of choice, but I love the artwork, so I gave it a try.
It’s very wordy (which in a game like this, is probably supposed to be)

The gameplay seemed immediately convoluted. I knew I wasn’t playing in my genre comfort zone, once I saw all the menus.
I prefer Octopath Travelers’s delivery.
I won’t talk trash about this game. It’s just not for me. I wonder for people that prefer this genre, do THEY think this is good. I’m interested...

I can’t get past the animation. I detest the marionette movements. I hope this does not become the new norm.

@Ryu_Niiyama I felt I was being generous with my two year mark. Although, your guess does seem more realistic. The EA factor makes me assume the worst. I’ll stick to my guns. Two years and I’m coming to collect those additional 10 gold rupees too.

Nope. No it’s not. SS was the first and only Zelda game that I rushed to complete. Just so I could be done with it and trade it in. Post-haste. The washed out color palette, horrendous music, regurgitated boss battle, lame power ups and a final battle with a character I can only describe as half Street Fighter Akuma/half Super Saiyan. Of all the Zelda games I’ve played and completed, this one ranks supreme as the worst. ( to me )

1) Bummed about no Bayonetta info
2) I gave up hope for an HD Prime
3) pleased with Splatoon
4) thrilled about MarioGolf
5) don’t care about the rest

@Jakiboy Least Favorite?!?!? Speak for yourself. Truth be told, I’d equally love some MK8 dlc ( or a new entry for that matter ) but I love me some MarioGolf. Me and my homies freaked out for this announcement.

My personal score for this is 8/10. The forgettable boss battles and lack of themed dungeons killed it for me. The weapon breaking system didn’t help its case either. AND, the Master Sword should never dull. Ever.

@AndyC_MK84 I’ve downloaded it, played it and I think it’s crap. And it pales in comparison to the real deal. And yes, it is upsetting when you think of what’s being left behind, in favor of a wildly inferior version. I will maintain that.

I had a fairly unhealthy addiction to Neon Abyss for a while there. Until they had the big update and ruined how the bombs work. Of that list, I own 7.

Grabbing Among Us, Luna Nights and the Bravely demo. Here’s hoping they scaled back that difficulty a bit.

Probably Nintendo’s least interesting holiday line up, in a very long time. True, there are couple good ones on that list, to be be sure. But man, ugh...
Also, something I’ve noticed in the last couple of weeks... the deafening silence that is Bayonetta 3. Not. A. Peep. I have my unsubstantiated theory on that quiet noise. That being, they’re saving it for a cross gen upgrade to the new Switch. Just a prediction. That I hope is true.

Also of note ( and not mentioned in the review ): the soundtrack is horrendous. Good lord, I bought this on Xbox and thank god I did. Custom soundtracks saved the day here. Every song is bad grunge-rock. Like the DJ is only playing songs his friends made in Garage Band. It’s bad. If I didn’t have an option to change the music, i would’ve returned it. Seriously, as a joke/test, I put on the instrumental to Prodigy’s Fire Starter... well, I kept the game because of it.

I almost want to try 5 Dates, just to see how bad it is, but it’ll be a waste of my waste of time. Other than that, nada. I already did NFS for X. That’s it for me.

I know nothing of Pikmen. Let’s give it a shot...

Whew! Dodged a bullet with this one. Came so close to pulling the trigger. Glad I waited for reviews. Apparently, every console has problems. Even the One X, which is inexcusable.

I played this on my Scorpio. It held my attention for about 2hrs and then I bailed. I’ve got nothing bad to say about it. Although, I’ve got nothing good to say about it either. The game came off as just a whole lot of nothing. Kinda just... there.

Seriously? I’m gonna be the first to mention Wave Race’s brilliance? When this poll is over, this game better better high on the list. Top 5 easy. And, OoT is N64’s best game by leagues
