Although it's only been out for little over a week, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has fallen from the top spot all the way down to fourteenth place in the UK charts, below the likes of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and Mario Strikers: Battle League Football. It's perhaps the biggest drop we've seen in quite some time, though it's unknown at this time exactly how much sales have fallen.
As expected, F1 22 has reached number one for the UK, with Formula One racing games historically performing well in the region. Elsewhere, it seems to be business as usual, though something interesting (and depressing) to note is that FIFA 22 sold the best on Nintendo Switch, accounting for 33% of total sales. The game was recently included on PlayStation Plus and also forms part of Xbox's Game Pass Ultimate line-up with EA Play, which may contribute to the game's sales success on Switch.

Makes sense. Warriors games are still niche, and most of the people interested in this release will have purchased it at launch.
Nice no GTA V in the chart this week.
I hope Three Hopes gets at least enough sales to warrant another entry at some point. But as @Ralizah already pointed out, it is quite a niche type of game. I'm enjoying it a lot, but I don't hear many of my friends about the game, like at all.
Quite unfortunate for Three Hopes, but to be expected. It's hard to convince everyone to play a hack 'n slash game, especially if all of them are marketed in the same way of you being some overpowered character fighting hordes of enemies. There's a lot of care put into the more recent crossovers, but expectations are often set too high.
Going to pick up Three Hopes when it goes on sale
@Doomcrow might have to wait years for that to happen...
FIFA 22 is there because it was in the sale with a pretty big price reduction
@ModdedInkling i kinda like them, and i like what they did with the BotW set up. But after you have played a few more warrior titles, the formula gets familiar very quick, and it is difficult not to get fatigue with these games.
Mario strikers is doing well in Europe.
I'm surprised Horizon Forbidden West is doing so well, everybody wrote it off for dead when Elden Ring completely overshadowed it but it's still trucking along!
How many Fire Emblem games have released since Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze launched on the Wii U on 14th February 2014?
EIGHT !!
How many more Fire Emblem games will release before the next Donkey Kong game?!
6 Switch exclusive games in the Top 10, Fifa 22 selling best on Switch and Lego Star Wars also likely to have sold best on Switch as well.
Not a bad week then.
The FE Warriors game was always going to be a front loaded release as it is fairly niche so still did well considering.
@KirbysAdventure
It is also bundled in with the PS5 right now so if you want a PS5 you are getting HFW too whether you want it or not
And yet Mario Strikers remains. Hmmmm🤔
@nocdaes POS musou games aren't Fire Emblem.
@nocdaes no, it's 3 (Fates, Echoes, 3Houses, but we can count 4, including the smartphone game Heroes). If you include spin-offs (Warriors and 3 Hopes), secondary participations (Tokyo Mirage Sessions) and a port (of Tokyo Mirage Sessions, a port of a secondary participation) you should count Tropical Freeze (Switch), Mario + Rabbids (s entire DLC for him) and and all Mario party/sports games. You should count NSO games and VC too
@KirbysAdventure it is a great game that is why it still selling well even after being overshadowed by elden ring quality sells..
Not surprised. Still niche genre at end of day and would be very frontloaded
I just like seeing Switch Sports beat Fire Emblem, Mario Strikers, and FIFA. Until Multiversus comes out, that's my game of the year. All the new content every week and loads of competition, it's hard to put it down. Easily one of the best games on the system.
How could Susan Sarandon do this??
FIFA!!
