I'd like to thank @PhillipJReed For writing that hilarious Christmas Wonderland 3 review... I can still show that to friends and they laugh at your jokes!
And @ThomasBW84 has also done a wonderful job of writing the daily articles, and the information is always spot on and is updated as soon as new info comes out.
@Damo I'll be honest, at first I was a little skeptical of you stepping into your new role, but over this year you've really convinced me you know what you're doing and are a worthy sucessor!
@theblackdragon Thanks for all the good times and helping out with all the noobs (some of them are very annoying) and you definitely help make this site very user friendly~
And finally, @antdickens, thank you for all of the updates this year, putting up with my emails about new info you usually already had, and making this site in general.

Another great marketing move by Nintendo; I know I love my games announced two months ahead of time.

Look at Layton, hanging out with the big guns.
Japan was strike one, Europe strike two, but it takes three strikes to be out if the ballgame.

Wii U on lanuch: Sells well.
After Launch: Dies because of no games.

PS4/XBox on launch: Sells well.
After Launch: Dies because of no games.

Everybody: Waits for games to buy consoles.

It's the exact same scenario in both cases, except Wii U came out first and will have big games first.

EA basically are a bunch of idiots. First of all, their games don't sell well. So they blame it on us not buying them, when its really the games that have issues.
Then, they recieve this award twice, and blame it on us, for misinterpreting them.
Well, Excuuusee me princess.
Then, "If we're making great games and services, then we won't get voted worst company in America then." This is stupid. He basically said, that in the last 2 years, they've had the worst games out of any company, and horrible services.

When saying I bought a Wii U yesterday, one of my friends (who plays games sometimes) asked me what a wii u was. When I said it was a new system, he even said he had no idea at all, and never has seen or heard anything about it.
Great job Nintendo.

@Philip_J_Reed By playable, I believe they mean the controls are a puzzle in itself, which causes the action of you shooting your 3ds. And all in one purchase!

This is just a color-swap for Wii Fit Trainer, as @Tsuchionko said, as he got no new page on their site.
It's also been a month since the last new character announcement. Mark my words, they'll have a nintendo direct soon, with a new character at the end of tons of SM3DW, Mario Party 3DS and M&S Olympics footage.

Return to the basic puzzles. Just what I wanted!

Blaziken was my favorite starter, really glad I'll be able to get one before December rolls around.

This is a step in the right direction, it's definitely a smart move to support lots of playstyles and provide this ease of access.
Now, in true Nintendo fashion, I'm bracing for the bad news that's sure to come.

It's a shame that Yamauchi couldn't see one last one before he passed.

Hiroshi Yamauchi's death is certainly very upsetting, as he is the one largely responsible for developing, changing and innovating at Nintendo. Except he did so much more. He was a leader, one that everybody truly respected in his work, and as a person. May he Rest in Peace, and forever live on in our memories.

This definitely will be a contendor for my team!

Gens 1-3 in particular got the Mega forms. Seems like you can also find starters in game, at least Gen 3. A key to unlocking it, hopefully will be something compicated, so that these things don't dominate everything.
