@Nitwit13 a number of the libraries in the Chicago suburbs. I belong to one, but there’s a website you can search a bunch of them, place holds and have the game/book/etc sent to your home. So there’s a couple hundred switch games available, albeit some with long waits.
I don’t mind the longer format being done, but generally it’s not for me. Would appreciate it if these posts can be updated after a week (or some other timeframe) with a tldr added. But keep up the good work! There’s nothing wrong with more content being added on this site.
This actually doesn’t seem completely unreasonable compared with other companies. Any idea what the ratio of executive pay is to average and lowest paid?
Nostalgia will probably get me to pick up a physical copy. I still remember playing at the roller rink, although I was never very good. Did much better at NES game.
Airport simulator looks appealing. Hadn’t heard of that before. For some reason it made me think of a game I spent a ton of time playing when I was younger, TRACON.
There seem to be some great/goofy shenanigans that could come from watching the wobblers, not sure how long being entertained by that would last, though. Still not sure of what actual gameplay is, RTS with a camera that zooms everywhere?
“ Another point of issue is the rather steep increase in the energy price cap from April 2022 in the UK, which has seen household energy bills increase…. when you compare that the company's profits rose by 44% to £118 million last year.”
I see the utility companies in the US aren’t the only ones with record profits and still increasing prices. It’s very frustrating to see.
So is there going to be motion controls for chopping or anything? Or will it be “push A to chop carrots” and you have a higher probability of chipping correctly as you gain experience? I’ll say I’m skeptical at best until further gameplay information is revealed (skeptical that it’s just a money grab with the Michelin name than a game that’s actually enjoyable).
I think this is making me want botw2 more than anything. It’s neat what they can do with these things, but I’d personally rather spend my money on games (unless someone comes out with a magic tool that boosts frame rates to keep a minimum of 30 fps at all times, now THAT would be something!).
I wasn’t going to watch the whole thing… but then it was pretty amazing. Where does one find such precisely cut cardboard? And how do you keep the pedal from drifting?
I mostly pre-order games just to insure I can get it on launch, and that I'd have the funds to do so. The bonuses matter very little to me, and I only pre-order games I know I'll like, or think I'll like.
Haven’t done it yet, but plan on creating two: games i no longer have (sold or borrowed), demos. Basically, my plan is to hide games i don’t need to see at all any longer, but don’t want to delete the save data for. Demos that I haven’t bought and there’s a chance I’ll buy at some point, just in case saves carry forward.
I can agree, for me assembly was difficult. Took several classes with it in college (proudly passed them), and never looked back. I probably wasn’t doing it right and it’s been a while since I’ve even thought about it, but from what I remember all the memory optimization made my head swim after a while trying to keep everything straight between the basic logical flow and little tricks of combining lines and moving lines behind certain statements to make them execute just at the right (processor) time.

Re: Random: Think You Know BOTW's Hyrule? Test Your Zelda Knowledge With This Map Quiz
Pretty happy with 18k. Been several years since I opened the game. But it did get me (more) excited for TOTK next week, so thanks for sharing!
Edit: one of my pics was an interior shot. I was correct in general area of the map, but the wrong town. That was a little too tricky.
Re: Video: With 100 Days To Go, What Do You Want To See In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?
A more lively world. I really enjoyed just walking around in botw, but it could be a bit bland/boring in some parts.
Re: Where To Pre-Order The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom On Switch
Got my pre order in. Now I can forget about it for a while

Re: Round Up: Every Game And Trailer From The Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase June 2022
Interesting to see free movement in rabbids. That was one of the bigger strategic complexities in the first game for me (as a good thing).
Re: Feature: 10 Famous Franchises That Would Make Great Warriors Games
How about Rabbids warriors where there were just fields of rabbids to fight.

Hope I don’t get in trouble for not knowing the official name, but I like the picture with the dog and Kirby. Very bright, colorful, and sharp.

@blindsquarel the regular posting of these short update articles, much like the switch updates themselves, bring a bit of stability to this site.
It allows me to see the update on the system and not wonder, has the day finally come for more stability?
