Nintendo don’t have any first party stuff to show us I’m guessing. I’m thinking development on Metroid has halted, Zelda 2 is months away and Advance Wars scrapped.

Game of the year, the soundtrack is phenomenal. Shame Vanilla Ice & Partners In Kryme didn’t do a couple of tracks!

Why it’s not yet on the Switch completely baffles me.

Metal Gear Solid 4, Split Second Racing, Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, Wind Waker HD, Starfox 64 HD, Pilotwings 64 HD, Capcoms Alien Vs Predator……the list is endless!

I’m predicting we’ll get a look at a new Metroid Prime 4 logo, a delay for Bayonetta 3 and The Devils Third Remastered. The new N64 game will be Superman.

This is the future of gaming unfortunately.

@Andy77mk I’m downloading Pocky & Rocky later as the physical release date was annoyingly put back……Im in 2 minds about the fighting collection, might just wait for a sale.
I used to be a big collector of physical stuff but sold it all off as I had too much stuff, I’m all digital these days. The hardest part was actually letting it all go, once it was gone I didn’t miss it.

Pocky & Rocky for me, it looks amazing.

Not sure what it is with this series but I just can’t get excited about a man hitting a giant robot with what looks like a spanner,

@Pharmboy6 I imagine you’re glad you dropped £500 on a PS5 to play 30 year old games like Sonic The Hedgehog.

If anyone is in doubt after playing other home versions, these arcade iterations are infinitely better.

Japanese art easy……I only wish Nintendo had employed Bob Wakelin to do all the cover art for the European releases.

At the moment I can’t envisage an end to the Switch lifecycle, just keep giving us great software and I’ll be happy.

I’d personally prefer their efforts going into making more 1st party Switch games based on past IP - Starfox, Pilotwings, Wave Race, F-Zero, Donkey Kong etc.
I’ve played the legacy content to death and I barely touched the SNES & N64 games on the online service.

Shredders Revenge, I’d happily say it’s easily in my top 3 beat-em ups ever along with Streets Of Rage 4 & Alien Vs Predator.

@Vyacheslav333 the PlayStation versions were awful, there were literally hundreds of animation frames missing.

@Clyde_Radcliffe all arcade, not sure why you’d want the console versions? The PS1 versions of the Darkstalkers games were terrible with more frames of animation missing than there was present. Saturn versions were ok but again had lots of missing frames, and the character sprites were significantly smaller although Saturn Pocket Fighter is pretty close to the arcade version.

Basically some journalist misinterpreted something Miyamoto said and loads of others ran with the story. It was obvious he was referring to Pikmin Bloom or the 3DS game.
Bad journalism, Chinese whispers, wishful thinking or simply someone massaging a story to suit their own narrative and agenda.
This is the world we live in, only last week you would’ve bet your house on Goldeneye being revealed due to the pure number of articles and YouTube videos about it. It simply doesn’t exist yet people insist on chasing these pots of gold at the end of the proverbial rainbow.

They probably couldn’t have released this at a worse time.

Yeah, cool detail but it’s not an Easter egg. It’s called ‘continuity’ and films, tv & games employ people to ensure continuity in the mediums they create.
An Easter egg, for example, would be if you zoomed in and one of the hats had a little message.

@Tom-Massey it’s not a different route, he does use golf clubs, watch the original 1990 movie and read the original run comics!

Would be a decent position if it wasn’t in Paris.
