15th? Anyone proof reading on here these days?

I think they’ll be a few secrets and unlockables but it’ll be refreshing to have a complete game on release day.
Hopefully it’ll be very replayable like Turtles In Time.

All these finished games waiting in the wings…….Fire Emblem, Pikmin 4, Goldeneye, Starfox GP etc etc. the developers obviously don’t need the money if they’re sitting on finished software! ( massive eye roll ).

Frame rate issues no doubt.

It’s nice as a free curio and still good fun if you have another human around to play against.
The joycons don’t make pulling off dragon punches easy though.
Loved it in the arcades as the character sprites looked epic.

Goes to show how good Switch games can be when built from the ground up.

Yeah right, just like the Goldeneye rumours that were credible ( massive eye roll ).
If we even get a direct it’ll focus on Xenoblade, Splatoon 3, Pokemon and probably a few minutes on other stuff. I think any surprise announcements will be games that are months away / still vapourware.
I’m not sure what world we live in nowadays where random people and YouTubers pluck some unfounded rumour out of mid air and run with it.
Goldeneye is ready to go, Pikmin 4 is complete, Capcom are working on a Switch exclusive Resident Evil etc etc ad infinitum. It’s all beyond boring and a waste of everyone’s time.

Apparently it was later reiterated on Twitter that a ‘playable build’ would be ready sometime in the next 12 months.
This doesn't necessarily mean a full release……a beta test or demo are also a possibility.
It’s also missing from the Infographic thing with all the titles being released over the next 12 months so I wouldn’t be holding my breath for it coming anytime soon.

This is the main problem with such extravagant games now, development time is years. By the time this is released it’ll be about 4 years since it’s initial announcement.

@ThomastheTankEngine I hate it when people defend criminals and people who think just because it’s illegally downloading Nintendo ROMs then it’s somehow not a crime. The guy broke the law, plain and simple and the millions of dollars he stole are simply part of a huge criminal organisation…….but hey, it’s only a Mario World ROM.

It encapsulates what I often say on here about gaming nowadays and that’s that it just doesn’t excite me anymore. Sure I was glad to hear about the release date for Shredders Revenge but we kind of knew it anyway.

The live feed on here was beyond boring so I kept looking at it briefly in between watching tv but we finally got a release date for Shredders Revenge at least.

@Joriss you’d think with it being such a massively popular title that LRG would have them produced and ready to go but by past experience from pre-ordering with them the games don’t shop for 6-12 months. I’m not prepared to wait that long to play it.

Could be true, the 16th was rumoured a week or so back. Fingers crossed.

This is a game I want to play as soon as it’s released, there’s no way I’m waiting an extra year to play it on physical. Bad move from DOTEMU getting these guys to publish it.

@KingMike horses for courses I guess….they’d sell more $30 games than $400 arcade cabinets.

@Vyacheslav333 that confuses me too about Alien Vs Predator, something to do with licensing I guess. I’d happily pay £50 for it to have it on Switch!

@helbertpina it must be although Arcade1Up seem to get plenty of licenses for their standalone mini arcades. Maybe Capcom just don’t want to pay the licensing fees.

No Alien Vs Predator, Punisher, Cadillacs & Dinosaurs, Marvel Super Heroes Vs Capcom, Street Fighter Vs X-men, X-Men or Marvel Super Heroes sadly.

@Yorumi like I say, all those people downloading illegal ROMs hiding in plain sight on here are apparent merely from their comments.
This was a multi million dollar crime, I wonder if people would be so forgiving if it was themselves or their family on the receiving end?

These sales are great and as long as you’re willing to wait there’s absolutely no reason to pay full price for any digital game.
