Incineroar isn't even that great now. Dmaxing stops flinching, and there's many ways to resist Intimidate now that weren't possible before. In addition, Defiant/Competitive punishes it very hard this time, now that the Defiant/Competitive users can utilize Dynamax.

Think about this: how long does a player look at trophies in Smash Brothers? Does anyone buy Smash Brothers just to gawk at trophies? Would it kill the game experience if a trophy is removed?

@Ernest_The_Crab Kyogre is kind of dominant in Ubers in the current state next to Xerneas, it's time it took a back seat.
And besides, no one knows how 2 competing primal weather is gonna interact yet. Who knows if they'll cancel each other out, still putting Primal Groudon in a bad spot (coz 4x water).

It seems that Nintendo is aware of Smogon tiers. While unofficial house rules this will give the Uber tier some new toys to play with.

From CT's videos, Sheik seems dominant so far. But given this is pre-release I believe people will find Sheik counters in time.

Some people seem to equate higher percent to KO (mhmm I'd say it seems like 140% is the average rating when characters get KOd in Smash 4 3DS) equates to a "slower" paced game.

Recently CT seems to have gone with 2 stock fights... but I think that's a good move so it'll feel like the 3 stocks provided to Brawl or even Project M. That said, as more combos are discovered while the game develops, tournament organizes might bump it up to 3 stocks in the future.

PS3 - Many games nowadays will overheat/hang and shut off the first PS3 models (the "fat" ones). Even the video game store I go to warn people about this all the time.
X360 - I'll go look for the source, but current X360 units are more powerful than launch X360 units.

"Attack!" is my favorite song from Castle Siege. I expect it to have the Fire Emblem Theme back as well. My only complaint with the stage is the transition, I would've preferred it to be only the first form all the time.

Sega let Streets of Rage Revival develop for a while before shutting it down. The theory is they waited for it to end up in a very playable state first, and only then C&D it to appease their stakeholders.

The League of Legends, Dota 2, Street Fighter 4 or Counter-Strike Global Offensive competitive community has their own haters even in those games' own casual communities. It's not just limited to Smash and "tiers are for queers".

One thing Smash (and Street Fighter and many fighting games) doesn't really have is the competitive players' disdain for casuals. Scrubs yes, but casuals not as much if at all.
