Continuing the series of discovering hidden Easter eggs in games, Did You Know Gaming has released the final part of its dissection of main series Mario games.
It's always a joy to see hidden little details and secrets in video games, it shows just how much developers care about the creations that they make. Unsurprisingly, Mario is no exception, and you can see just how many elusive titbits can be found in Super Mario 64 (as well as the DS version), Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Some of you may think you know all there is to know, but it might be worth watching the video below anyway, just to be sure.

Love this!
WOW!! I just finished reading The Shining by Stephen King (for the 2nd time) and that text @ 5:15 is from the novel. That's incredible that manta-ray reference! This almost solidifies my need to try Super Mario Sunshine one more time.
A great video now they just have to do legend of Zelda!!!
He ended the series & missed the NSMB games & Super Mario 3D World. Also missed the U R MR GAY "easter egg" on Super Mario Galaxy's cover art. I hope he comes back & actually covers all the missing Mario games some dsy, otherwise good video.
Galaxy is already retro?
IDK about you guys, I love this but don't you think some people have too much time on there hands?
@ianandian33
Think of it this way: They take their time to find these so we don't have to.
So much information, so useless, so fascinating...
very interesting, most of it was new to me.. the last bit was strange, in a good way though.
very interesting like vids like these when you are just so bored kinda cheers you up
@ianandian33 eh still good though better to have them use that time and bring you something new to learn?
They forgot NSMB and NSMB Wii which are also part of the main series and came out before Galaxy 2.
How fun! I do love a good Video Game easter egg.
Interesting stuff, as always!
In Mario Galaxy 2, ChompWorks Galaxy, there is a PacMan made out of star-bits which is briefly visible before you warp to a new area. They claimed it was sposed to be a chain chomp, but it looked like PacMan to me.
