@rjejr Your amiibo argument is highly flawed. You aren't paying $13 for a skin; you are paying $13 for a Nintendo figurine, as well as any bonus content the figure may provide, which, in most cases, is more than just a MM skin anyways.

That aside, it would be a rather large task to make renders for all 120 amiibo skins in the NSMB style alone, not even thinking about doing the same for the other two. Doing so would take a lot of development time, especially when the game has already released and there is a smaller amount of people to work on the game.

Anyways, I'll definitely be getting this. I love Mario Tennis, so solid gameplay is all I care about. I don't need gimmick stages, I never used them anyways.

I'm actually pretty hyped, myself. Mario Tennis has always been my favorite Mario sports title, so I'm excited to pick this up.

One of the reasons I dislike the comment sections of this website so much is because of how negative everyone is towards amiibo. The situation honestly isn't nearly as bad as you guys make it out to be, and I'm sick of hearing people complain about how much they dislike them.
If you don't care about them, or flat-out hate them, fine, but don't try to spoil them for the people that actually do.

I rarely use amiibo for in-game content, barring Splatoon, so this doesn't hold any interest for me.
