I was skeptical at first, but because your opponent gets 3 prize cards for defeating one of these instead of the typical 2 for a gx, I’m cool with it. I’m looking forward to some great designs.

If it went down in price I’d buy it immediately but more than $300 (you need an sd card too) for a console with one killer exclusive is asking too much (I have a Wii U if I want to play Mariokart, Splatoon, or Zelda). Smash looked nice but it’s still 6 months out and there weren’t many announcements for 1st party Nintendo games.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 gets announced. Or there is way too much labor stuff. I don’t know which one will happen or if both will, but at least one of those two will.

I’m grateful for electricity since it allows for entertainment, food, warmth, and other cool stuff.

FE Heroes is great and I haven’t spent a dime on it so hopefully this one is just as good.

Probably some Overwatch for Junkenstein’s Revenge and definitely some more Samus Returns. Also some SNES Classic, I’ve been playing Super Mario World, F-Zero, Super Mario Kart, and the surprisingly good Kirby’s Dream Course.

I would add in one of the Japan only FE games or NBA Jam as well but that's a solid list. Maybe FF 5?

I actually got one! I sat on a bench for an hour and a half at my local Meijer with 12 other fans. They had 14 total and everyone got one.

A crazy one I wish we would get: Pikmin 4.

It's very important that Nintendo fans support this game if they want Nintendo to keep making Metroid games.

This game is really underrated. I just reinstalled it.

Honey comb is pretty great so count me in.

They could make that much overnight if they just made more SNES Classics.

I regularly play this game yet haven't spent a cent on it.

You know, now that we know they are making new Metroid games, the reaction to this game seems kind of silly. I never even thought of getting it either.

If only SNES Classic production could be a quarter of that size...

Is the VR market even lucrative enough for Nintendo to jump into it?

Wow. I'm guessing next summer is when we will see a full gen 3 release. They have 6 more legendaries at most, so I think it's pretty likely.

I was kind of hoping they were doing kanto remakes instead so now idk what to think...

A 2D Metroid game on Switch won't happen if this isn't successful though.

Considering how much we begged for a new 2D Metroid game, we NEED to buy this one. In order to show Nintendo that listening to fans can work and that Metroid can make money, everyone who asked for this during the past decade needs to show support for it.

I wish they could make a GameCube classic edition but it would be way too expensive and they probably won't.

It's not my cup of tea but I've heard the original was fun so maybe I will check it out.

I would buy them! I never played these 3 and I've heard 3 is awesome.

Still have yet to get a legendary but I did 1v6 a gym earlier so that was cool.

That's so cool, but I'm surprised that they can use it free from the trademark.

I've never gotten into Amiibo because it has ALWAYS been minor unlocks that definitely aren't worth the price tag.

It might not have had the best library of games but I would still take one.

Honestly this is the first game that has made me want a Switch. It is the first game besides Arms that I can't play on my Wii U or any other platform, and I am a huge Splatoon fan.

I wish we got more high quality indie games like this on the eshop. Sure there are quite a few, but for every good one there are at least 5 mediocre ones.

I think of the Wii U as a GameCube, but swap most of the 3rd party support for stable online and a VC. It had amazing first party games, great local co-op, and I really liked mine.

If you want one, grab it before Splatoon 2 comes out!

BOTW DLC on Wii U is ridiculously big compared to the Switch file size.

This thing will be my birthday present if I can actually find one...

I think allowing modding is cool, especially some of the Smashbros ones that I have seen. Look at how much valve benefited from mods. Nintendo has always been hesitant to allow people to touch their stuff, and that includes fans.

Taking away sales of Metroid 2 on the eshop or taking away potential sales of the remake they are making I guess.

It sucks that Nintendo is against fan games but it's understandable. I don't understand why anyone would make a fan game nowadays with copyright law. I also think Nintendo has done some of the best work with Indies and they have learned a little bit about quality control with the Wii U and 3DS eshop.

Inkling was the real winner, and with good reason. The rest of the picks aren't too bad either.

Teasing a console maybe? The 90's nostalgia craze is in full swing and Atari is making a new console so anything is possible.

Does this have online multiplayer?

The Pokémon limit is fine but the rest of the changes are unnecessary.

BUT AT LEAST THE SWITCH ISN'T REGION LOCKED RIGHT??!?!? Joking aside, this is some bad news for Nintendo and its fans.

Day one purchase for sure! If you guys want more Metroid, buying it is a must just like when Fire Emblem came back.
