Re: Nintendo Software Dominates The Week's Japanese Charts

NinNin

@Xenoguner "Even though we are a Nintendo site, keeping the format that you used where u just talk about nintendo figures, shows to everyone that the site is trying to hide and spin the hard truth, and that makes us look bad."

This article clearly states that Monster Hunter: World is the number one, and the PS4 topped the hardware sales. You worry too much, and it seems as though you tried too hard to spin the facts. As @Dom said, don't get too dramatic about this. Starting from next week, articles about weekly sales in Japan should include the lists.

@westman98 Seven Nintendo games in the top 10 list isn't enough?

Re: Random: Dragon Ball FighterZ On Low PC Settings Gives Us Hope That A Switch Port Could Happen

NinNin

@PlywoodStick I don't think the minimum specs are accurate. What does "minimum" mean anyway? You should check benchmark results. A GTX 960 can run Dragon Ball FighterZ in 1440p at max settings at 60 fps: https://overclock3d.net/reviews/software/dragon_ball_fighterz_pc_performance_review/9. It can runs this game in 4K at max settings at 57.73 average fps. I know that a GTX 960 is much more powerful than the Switch's GPU, but if you do the math, the Switch should be able to run this game in 720p or a higher resolution at medium settings at 60 fps.

Re: The Planet-Hopping Xeodrifter Will Touch Down On Nintendo Switch This February

NinNin

@BornInNorway81 $1 for an NES game, and $1.5 for an SNES game.

@JimmySpades Some people want a company to do the same as some other companies when it benefits them. These people didn't demand Nintendo to provide a paid online service like what Microsoft and Sony have been providing. They don't demand Nintendo to charge full prices for VC games on the Switch for people who own them on their Wii U because Sony charges full prices for PS2 games for people who own them on their PS3 either.

Re: The Planet-Hopping Xeodrifter Will Touch Down On Nintendo Switch This February

NinNin

@faint You missed the point. I meant that it's not necessarily true that Nintendo will charge for VC games on the Switch in case you own the Wii U versions. As I said, Nintendo allows transferring VC games from a Wii to a Wii U at no charge. You don't have to buy them again. As for classic games, Sony charges for PS2 games on the PS4 even if you own the PS3 versions.

By the way, you can't tell. I suggest that you shouldn't assume too much. I have a PS3, and I plan to buy a PS4 Pro this year.

Re: The Planet-Hopping Xeodrifter Will Touch Down On Nintendo Switch This February

NinNin

@SuperCharlie78 I think it's a big point because you said it as if every PS4 game supported cross-buy with the PS Vita version, which isn't the case.

Nintendo gives a much superior service with the Switch, though. Every single game on the Switch virtually supports cross-buy and cross-save. By the way, did you know that Nintendo allows transferring Virtual Console games from a Wii to a Wii U at no charge?

Re: SD Gundam G Generation Genesis To Hit Japanese Switches This April

NinNin

@OorWullie It won't. It may get an Asia version with English subtitles, though.

@Platinumhobo It's not a localization. It just provides English subtitles. AFAIK, the quality of the English translations of these releases (Asia versions) in general isn't great.

@Steven_the_2nd The Asia releases are for the PS4 and PS Vita versions.

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

@LordGeovanni "I haven't played Final Fantasy 15. Do you want to know why? I haven't bought a system that plays it. I would like to see it come to switch, but I don't expect it to come to Switch."

"I haven't played Mario Kart 8. Do you want to know why? I haven't bought a system that plays it. I would like to see it come to switch, but I don't expect it to come to Switch."

You know, many Switch owners and people who want to buy a Switch also feel the same as you do. Why not let them have the fun?

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

NinNin

@LordGeovanni Bringing Wii U games to the Switch is not for the Wii U owners. Most people don't have a Wii U as I said.

"If you want a Wii U game to play, buy a Wii U"

As I said, Nintendo already stopped the production of the Wii U.

@Euler "The only people that don't have a Wii U are the people that chose not to buy one."

And they are the majority of people.
