@BlueOcean If you post a comment, you should be ready to be quoted or replied to. You can't choose to get only replies you want. However, if you really don't want to read comments of some users, this website has an ignore feature. No user on this website can force you to read his comments. Anyway, I won't discuss this any further. I believe I've been very clear about this.

@BlueOcean I don't know what you mean by negative replies. It's normal to reply to opinions of others. It's called discussion. Anyway, you don't need to explain. I reply what and when I want to. As I said, if you don't want to read my comments, you can ignore me.

@8itmap_k1d Generally, exclusive games are better than multiplatform games. I believe that is partly because the developers don't have to worry about other platforms and can focus on a single platform. It's good for consumers in that aspect.

@BlueOcean Read @gortsi's comment above.

@OorWullie I don't think Nintendo fans or fans of any platform are worse than the others. It's understandable that if you own a console, you want games to be released on it. I don't think it's a bad thing. It's normal. You are weird if you don't want that.

Re: Deals: The Best Nintendo Switch Micro SD Cards

NinNin

@ThanosReXXX If I'm a developer, I won't like to be forbidden by a platform owner from doing things that other platform owners allow me to do. It's not that I agree with releasing huge patches, but to actually solve this problem, Sony, Microsoft, and Steam must have the same rule. If only Nintendo did that, many games would release late on the Switch, which would result in less revenues and profits for the developers. It would be like chasing them away.

As for the costs of the game cards, they will definitely reduce in time. The situation should be better in a few years. In my opinion, the storage issue is somewhat overblown. If you only buy physical copies and indie games, a 64 GB microSD card should be enough for a long time, and you can buy one for less than $15. Yes, it would be nice if you didn't have to buy it, but it's not expensive at all. If you only buy digital copies, the game cards are irrelevant.

Re: Deals: The Best Nintendo Switch Micro SD Cards

@ThanosReXXX The Blu-ray Disc is a closed medium as well, and Sony and Microsoft don't do anything to prevent huge patches, and I don't think they should. Developers should have freedom to do anything they want with their games.

Re: Review: L.A. Noire (Switch)

NinNin

@BensonUii Aren't reviews mostly subjective? Reviews are essentially opinions of reviewers. Just because you agree with one reviewer, it doesn't mean that he's more credible than other reviewers.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Gives Its Full Analysis of Skyrim on Nintendo Switch

NinNin

@gatorboi352 Then why do you continue to visit this website? I'm really curious. Since the release of the Switch, most news on this website are about Switch games, and it'll continue to be that way for several years.

@rjejr There are 3 perspectives: a handheld, a hybrid, and a home console. According to Nintendo, most players use it as a hybrid console. I don't know how accurate that is, though.

Re: Nintendo "Spending A Lot Of Time" Considering YouTube Livestream Monetisation

NinNin

@Fairuse Nintendo doesn't forbid you from streaming or uploading videos, though. If you don't care about advertising revenues, you can upload as many Nintendo-related videos as you want, and you don't need to worry about revenues from your videos. Anyway, that person is just an attorney. He doesn't have the authority to decide that something is legal or illegal. He has to prove that to the courts of law. In my opinion, making money from a copyrighted work isn't fair use.

Re: Nintendo "Spending A Lot Of Time" Considering YouTube Livestream Monetisation

NinNin

@Octane Maybe you misunderstand something. Streaming is no longer covered in the program, so you can't make money from it, and Nintendo doesn't get any revenues from it either. It isn't a demand. For some reason, Nintendo decided to exclude streaming from the program, and they accepted that they would lose revenues from that.

You can still stream Nintendo games, though, as long as your channel isn't registered with the program.
