I'll pick it up because I like physical releases and it is a way to show support for the company. I hope they include the Plague Knight DLC on the cartridge itself.
Amiibo, GameCube adapter, Majora's Mask N3DSxl, Majora's Mask limited edition and Monster Hunter N3DSxl have had low stock and all have been abused by scalpers.
You should be able to buy any of them on Nintendo's website. If they want some to be limited, you have a month to buy them. Then everyone has a fair chance to get the ones they want.
I feel bad for kid that want these since you either have to preorder then or be the first in line on the day of release. These things were made for kids and the adults are the only ones who are finding them. I didn't and don't plan to get all of them but I'd like to buy summer of my favorite characters like Captain Falcon or MegaMan.
I backed this at the ultimate Blu-ray level as well. I really want to see this documentary but I am stoked to get my hands on a boxed copy of the game. This is actually the first kick starter project that I have backed. As an avid gamer and collector this is really exciting.
I love the artwork on that cab! I've never seen anything like that. Even with the issues on the control panel, that is still in amazing condition; at 35 years old would have expected some burn in, torn up vinyl on the sides and a handful of unoriginal or poorly painted parts. Honestly, it is amazing that it even works considering how finicky arcades can be.
I really enjoyed this! I was going to download them at some point but the physical copy sealed the deal for me. There are some great sections and in certain games like Zelda and Kid Icarus you get to play through most of the major parts of the game. The remix levels were probably my favorites. The game gets a little hart at times but I wouldn't have it any other way. The one real complaint I've got is that they included a bunch of the black box sports games which could be really difficult and extremely boring.
HG and SS were my favorite. If you count the teenagers as part of their original gen (ie ORAS is gen 3) then currently
Gen 1 - 15%
Gen 2 - 30%
Gen 3 - 17%
Gen 4 - 8%
Gen 5 - 11%
Gen 6 - 11%
IDK - 8%
I am suprised and kinda glad that gen 3 isn't in the lead especially since so many people make a big deal about it and it just wasn't as good some other entries, but I haven't played to much of Alpha Sapphire that much yet.
Wow, I thought I was the only one who didn't think Melee was the best!
The Wii U version is shaping up to be my favorite (I haven't played 3DS yet). The online modes work well, everything is super polished and there are so many characters and stages to choose from. My few complaints are that there is no story mode and no Solid Snake or Roy.
While the Subspace Emissary was a little weird I wish they would have brought something like that back. It did a great job of helping you get better at using characters that you might not have normally chosen.
Melee is great and it was the one I spent the most time playing and I can see why people love it, but it isn't my favorite.
This is a must buy if you don't already have the NES version. That said, I'll think I'll pass since I've already got every release of Duck Hunt except the PlayChoice 10/VS Duck Hunt version. The zapper was part of the original experience and without the flash of the screen and feel of the spring loaded trigger it just won't be the same. The zapper was super accurate and you didn't experience lag.
Can we please get rid of Wii VC rewards and just focus on the Wii U, you know, that system that they are currently trying to sell. The physical rewards aren't even worth mentioning.
I picked up Game and Watch Ball a few years ago and now I have 1,600+ points just sitting around. Japan and Europe have had some great figurines and soundtracks.
Even though I haven't been specifically looking for Amiibos,I just realized that I haven't seen one Marth or Wii Fit Trainer in stores but I saw a ton of Villagers.
@__Link__ Yes, you can keep scanning the same Amiibos once a day for new items/rupees. I wonder if the items will be less valuable the more you scan the same figure or if it is completely random. It could be that you get a really good item the first time you scan it and it is random after that?
@BensonUii @AVahne
DO NOT GET THE PDP CONTROLLER!
They were bad when they made their debut during the GameCube era and they are still just as bad. Save your money and get the Hori controllers.
@Nintendo_Ninja They are great games, especially Super Mario Bros (DS). I still need to pick up New Super Mario Bros 2 though, so I can't speak for it.
Very good list guys. This list would be almost identical to my own if Sunshine was at the bottom or not on here at all. It is a great game but I feel that New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros. 2 deserve a spot on this list a bit more. I think my opinion can change depending on which Mario games I have played recently.
7/10 seems a little harsh. I finally got around to playing SotE a couple years ago and it was awesome. Obviously by today's standards it may be not be as great, but back then it did a lot considering the hardware limitations. I would give it an 8/10 at least.
Very nice, I was just working on something like this, only it was for a SNES to be controlled by an arcade stick. This is harder though because of the analog stick and programmable buttons.
The problem I have is that it isn't very portable anymore but it is a neat project none the less. If it wasn't for the ability to program buttons, you could remove the bulky exterior board and it would be portable.
Its still better than a lot of NOA's commercials since the launch of the Wii; I was really getting sick of watching middle-aged people play the most boring parts of a game. Other than the awkward, "It's time to Fight" at the end, it was a solid commercial and it go the message across.
It's not too hard to replace the circle pad on either model. I can see how you could do this when you smash but I think these may be some extreme cases but I really don't like how thin they made the stick on the circle pad.
Gone Home is a really good experience, but it is hard to classify it as a game. Its plays more like an interactive story.
While it is entertaining and really well made; don't play this expecting more than a good story. You explore a house and when you get to certain areas or find certain items you listen to an audio track that furthers the story.

Re: Weirdness: You Can Buy About 300 Copies of Jurassic Park on SNES for $1500
How is it possible that every copy has a label to some degree, especially an end label?
Re: Nintendo Classics in the Running for Inaugural World Video Game Hall of Fame Honour
As long as FIFA is in this list, I can't take it seriously. Angry Birds and Minecraft are huge but too modern to be classics.

Or.. I made a mistake and am only human. I've played and own every generation from Kanto to Kalos.
Re: Pokémon White Makes Surprise Appearance in UK Charts as Xenoblade Chronicles 3D Struggles
@BLPs
Gotcha, I thought you were talking console generations, not Pokemon. My bad.
Re: Pokémon White Makes Surprise Appearance in UK Charts as Xenoblade Chronicles 3D Struggles
@BLPs
I'm pretty sure the DS is part of the 7th gen. The 5th gen would be, N64, PSX, Dreamcast, Saturn and Gameboy Color.
Re: Reminder: The Hyrule Warriors Boss Pack DLC is Now Available in North America
@VrginX
Yes, but if you already own any part of the DLC already, you can't buy the season pass.

Chrono Trigger has to be in my top 5 games of all time.

Who cares if this is on-disc DLC, it would make sense as they were available at launch for those that pre-ordered the game.

Unfortunately the Platinum reward is usually worth about $10-$15 and I can see Mario Maker retailing for $30+, but you never know.
Re: Sharp Gearing Up to Supply 'Free-Form' LCD Screen Technology for Future Nintendo Hardware

Re: Video: Today's Teens Simply Cannot Handle The Insane Challenge Of Mega Man

I went to Gamestop to pick up a new SIM card and all 3 were gone and the same was true for Target.

That is so weird. I got two tier 3 Epona's each with at least 4 out of 6 slots filled. I think both had 250+ rating.
