Re: Feature: Bargain Bin DS Games

I go to a second hand game store in town that will beat anyone but Goodwiill's prices. I picked up Pokemon Diamond there for $15. Most of the stuff I've picked up is vintage so I won't mention it here.

I am going to have to buy some new DS games the next chance I get.

Re: Developers: Wii U "Less Powerful than PS3 and 360"

NESguy94

Let's get our term straight. Power doesn't mean graphics. The Wii-U is more powerful than the 360 and PS3 but it may not have the graphic capablities of them. From what I've heard the system could run a 360 or PS3 game just fine and you would hardly be able to tell the difference. There won't be any problems as long as the system runs 720p.

Also, Nintendo should use blu-rays. They would lose a dollar or 2 in manufacturing, but they would make all that back when their games aren't pirated as easily.

Paying to unlock content that is already there, it is scam that I am not taking a part in. When I buy a game, I expect to be able to play everything from the start or be able to unlock it through gameplay. What happens when your games are old and the online connection is dead or if you can't get online?

If you want to stop the game companies from losing money stop selling all your games to GameStop for a few bucks once you have finished them. Pay $5 more and get the new copy. Simple things like this make a big difference.

This video shows why I hate this kind of thing:

Re: Feature: The Joy of Gaming Together

I love gaming with friends and family. With many games lately, the best parts have been in multi-player. Last year I spent so much time playing Goldeneye, Epic Yarn, and DK Country Returns.

@20 Yeah, most people look at you like you are an idiot if you say you are from America while visiting another country. I grew up in the states and I am living in Hungary for a year. I just say I am from the US or "the states".

Re: Talking Point: Using Glitches - Cheating or Clever Gaming?

NESguy94

I don't like glitches that ruin the experience of the game, like cheating in online matches or simple AR cheating on easy games. When it comes to glitches that take amazing timing and skill, like the bomb hover in Ocarina of Time, I don't mind at all. Those are the things you find after you have beaten the game and use to find secrets and other fun stuff.

Good to know, I still haven't received my copy (Very slow mail here).

@SpaceKappa Yes, if you saved in the cannon room after Ilia gets her memory back and you haven't warped the canon out, you cannot get out. Nintendo never releases a patch but can download a new save file off the internet.
