Good hopefully others follow suit. AI should be seen as false advertising. Too easy to fake a project or promise way more than than project could ever actually create. Type in a few prompts and could easily fake a game being made.
I don't follow gaming funding projects but I've seen lots of indie films use ai to make photos for their fundraiser projects. Use images there is no way they would be able to reproduce but trying to act like that's how their movie is going to look.
I really want it, but no way I'm paying $80 a year for it. I've bought the games I already want to play on other systems. There's no way I'm paying more just to rent them.
My wife and I game on the same switch, so I was already annoyed paying for a family plan when we wouldn't have to pay extra for it on any other system. But $80 is way too much. Makes me want to let are regular base online run out too. Way too greedy of a move.
I've already preordered and downloaded Miitopia. I skipped it on the 3ds, but the demo and being able to download miis sold me. Just not sure if I want to continue my demo save or start fresh.
If we weren't holding off for the rumored switch upgrade I'd be one of those. I was very tempted to get a switch lite to play while I wait to play the switch. For now the 3ds fills in that void.
Borderlands 2 is one of my favorite games. Great enemy so many unique, funny characters, and tons of different fun to use guns.
I'm playing the original for the first time now. Doesn't seem as good, but I've still really been enjoying it. It still has a lot of fun guns to use, it just doesn't have as many interesting characters.
Great addition to the switch. The gyro controls are awesome( I just had to increase the sensitivity on the original by a lot) Hopefully 3 gets released too, I still haven't got to play it.
@mesome713 don't write them off from just this song if you like metal. I haven't heard all of the new album but the old stuff doesn't sound much like this. "Drink" is my favorite.
I use for it for in game messaging. So much faster and easier with my phone. I've scanned a few qr codes early on too.
I use the app with Splatoon 2 also to check the schedules, shop, and occasionally check my last 50 matches record. I have used it for smash but very rarely.
@WoomyNNYes oh my matches are finishing. So we're not getting the same error. Most of my matches have been against Japanese players, have your's? That could be part of the problem
@WoomyNNYes That sucks I'm Eastern US, my match are playing okay but I'm getting communication errors after the match or as it trying to start a new one.
Team ketchup again. Time for revenge. Hopefully this isn't the last splatfest. I still play regular but the splatfest is fun change of pace. Hard to play turf war without, unless it's w/ friends or family.
@BenAV I need to get back into the social/multiplayer aspect of this game. it adds so much. Just not enough hours in the day now that I'm back to working and playing other games in my free time too.
Stay safe everyone! I live close to one of the hard hit areas. (Two actually a city, one of the hardest hit in the US; and a county next to me considered a rural hot spot) A few of my friends got really sick. So sad to hear them talk being in the hospital not knowing if they're going to make it and not be able to have family with them. Luckily they've made it.
There has been family members of friends, local politicians, front line workers, and more who haven't been so lucky.
I was able to buy a second dock a while ago so cant speak on if they're easy to find now. But it is great having two. One is always plugged into the living room tv. My other one in the bedroom and also used for travel. Helps make the console even more portable.
@NEStalgia he's countering people who say physical is cheaper and showing how thats not true. So yes, credit card points, gold points everything should count because in the end it is what the person is actually paying.
@JaxonH You can find good deals online from time to time too. Getting harder to find but they do still happen. Great for people who can afford to stock up when they become available.
I just bought eshop credit for 25% off not to long ago so bundling it with this I can get two nintendo games for only $75 and still get $5 gold credit. Hopefully they continue to do stuff like this.
On the ceo pay/ average You might be right, but what you're talking about is a big Western/American thing not just for video game companies. The average American ceo makes 350-360 times (I've heard as high as 400 times) the average worker. Googling and looking for Japan the average is much lower, around 60 times. Iwata also took a pay cut, while the west you only hear about them laying people off and then getting a bigger bonus for it.
Im getting Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and War Frame for sure. I really want want Civ 6 but want to wait for more reviews first. Ign review was barebones but promising. Mother Russia Bleeds also looks interesting.
Works with the NES/SNES classic controllers! I'm sold wish it had more color variations I doubt I'll use a GameCube controller on it unless Nintendo eventually rereleases GameCube games too.
It's an alright game. I would say not a good local pick up and play multiplayer at all, but a solid single player game. If you're looking for NBA Jam this is not the game you want. It also has almost an RPG like elements added where you do certain things to level up a character. Make so many threes or dunks to add up to 8 points to that player stats. Each team also has a player locked until you win a championship in season play.
Has anyone tried Dungeon Village? That one looks interesting. It reviewed good on other platforms, I can't find anything on the switch port.
I'm also keeping an eye on NBA Playgrounds 2 and Starlink. I've already enjoyed some of the new NES games. I'm going to stick with them and my back log for now.
Super Mario Party. I have it preloaded and bought another set of joy cons. Super excited for it. Hoping it can replace Mario Party 2. One of the only reasons i still play Wii u from time to time.

Sounds interesting. It's also coming to gamepass for people who have that.

Re: Random: Uh-Oh, Nintendo's Switch Online 'Expansion Pack - Overview Trailer' Is Generating A Lot Of Dislikes
I'm one of the dislikes. We have one switch but multiple users so my price would be $80 and that's just way too much to pay.

Re: Classic Arcade Game 'The Simpsons' Will Get A New Cabinet This Year
I was just telling my wife we should turn part of our basement into an arcade. She didn't say no.
Now this is announced. Coincidence? I don't think so. More like destiny. She can't say no to that right?

@Snatcher Once you pay the price to buy it, it's full of all the normal free to play purchases so don't worry.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 6th)
I got my 3ds out for the first time in a while. I'm playing pocket card jockey and will probably replay a few things on there.
Re: A 'Pro' Switch With More Power Might Not Even Be Fully Utilised, Says Industry Veteran
I'm playing Pikmin 3 mixed in with some Splatoon 2 and Mario 35.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 3rd)
Super Mario Bros 35 has me hooked right now. Hopefully getting some spooky stuff in Animal Crossing and still playing Sunshine.
Re: NIS America Is Bringing Ys IX: Monstrum Nox To The West In 2021

Re: Review: Arcade Archives Sunset Riders - Japan's Take On The Wild West Is A Must-Have On Switch
I use to play this all the time at the bowling alley and in arcades. Can't wait to play again.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Delivers Its Verdict On The Switch Version Of BioShock: The Collection
I picked up Borderlands day one. This will be next. So crazy they released everything the same day.
Re: Review: Borderlands Legendary Collection - A Triple-Helping Of Classic FPS Action
@janpampoen it does and they work good for me. In the settings you can change the sensitivity and even invert the motion controls if you want.

Re: Random: Pirate Metal Band Alestorm's Latest Album Features Several Donkey Kong References
Not a place I expect to see something about Alestorm. Great band, I've gotten a few people into them. The 64 looks so cool!
Re: Don't Worry eShop Users, You'll Still Receive "All 3 Titles" If You Buy The Borderlands Legendary Collection
I noticed last night only the handsome collection was listed as games included in the legendary collection.
I was hoping to just get bl 2 so I don't know what I'm going to do now. The file sizes are so big and I think I'll only replay the second one
Re: Talking Point: Has Animal Crossing Finally Made The Nintendo Switch Online App Worthwhile?
I use for it for in game messaging. So much faster and easier with my phone. I've scanned a few qr codes early on too.
I use the app with Splatoon 2 also to check the schedules, shop, and occasionally check my last 50 matches record. I have used it for smash but very rarely.
So it's not worthless just not that good either.

My second match was 100x match. And so many named teams. This is actually hard so far and fun.

Team ketchup again. Time for revenge. Hopefully this isn't the last splatfest. I still play regular but the splatfest is fun change of pace. Hard to play turf war without, unless it's w/ friends or family.

Re: Talking Point: Are You Suffering From Animal Crossing: New Horizons Fatigue?
I'm still playing every day, but no where as near as long as I was. Some days I only tend to my flowers and check my shops.
I wouldn't say I'm fatigued just not devoting all my gaming time to it anymore. This is a game I'll continue to play the switch's lifespan.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Islands - Get Inspired By The Best Islands We've Seen So Far
These look good. I know someone that did the urban look and is using race car beds to look like cars in the street.
I'm happy with a few spots on my island but I'm working hard to get rare flowers right now so I have flowers everywhere.
I'm seen nice ones from people here and as we trade more should get even better.
Re: Gearbox Software: "Never Say Never" To Borderlands On Switch

Re: Feature: Vote For Your 2018 Nintendo Game Of The Year

Re: Nintendo Download: 15th November (North America)
Time for the flood gates to open. I haven't bought much lately but thats going to end now too many good games coming up led by Pokemon and Smash.

Re: The 8BitDo GBros. Lets You Wirelessly Connect Your Battered GameCube Controller To Switch

I meant system. So true, but 8bitdo controllers can be updated on their website. So I don't think there's anything to worry about.
Re: The 8BitDo GBros. Lets You Wirelessly Connect Your Battered GameCube Controller To Switch
@John_Deacon
The only reason they wouldn't is if an update no longer supported the controllers.
Re: The 8BitDo GBros. Lets You Wirelessly Connect Your Battered GameCube Controller To Switch
Works with the NES/SNES classic controllers! I'm sold wish it had more color variations I doubt I'll use a GameCube controller on it unless Nintendo eventually rereleases GameCube games too.

I'm playing through Undertale and really enjoying it and will hopefully play some more Super Mario Party depending on if I can get some other players.
