@nmanifold I understand. But your first post sounded like this typical "People buy every Nintendo game, because there isn't anything else to buy!" -nonsense. Really, every time a Nintendo game sells a decent amount of numbers, someone has to come out of their hole and has to spew this nonsense.
@Yosher If you would rate The Origami King similar to Sticker Star or Color Splash, you have very odd way to rate games, since The Origami King is quite different to those.
Mario&Luigi: Paper Jam is not a Paper Mario game.
Oh, and Paper Mario, The Thousand Year Door and The Origami King 9/10
Color Splash 7/10 and Super Paper Mario 8/10.
Didn't really play Sticker Star, so I can't rate it.
I mean, it's pretty clear why a Switch version can't come at or close to the same day as the other versions. The game was in development way before the Switch was even announced AND Activision needs to see, if the Switch even has good sale numbers before they jump into it. ðĪ·
@GrizzledVeteran Since Nintendo showed a prototype of the Gamecube controller in 2000, I don't think they were necessarily inspired by the XBox controller.
I to hate it, if they don't put the game's title on the cover. But I wouldn't go so far as calling it "disturbing". Nonetheless, good to see the new cover art has the title on it. ð
I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE FIRST GAMEPLAY FOR BOTW 2!!! The "The Legend of Zelda" - series is the only game series where I am still excited like a kid, when a new entry is announced. ð
Almost 100% it and didn't encounter a glitch, I would be aware of. But I will also most likely NOT 100% it, because getting all coins in the Eddy River (I think that's the name) and complete all ring puzzles in the Battle Dojo can go and f ... ðĪŽ
@westman98 Fact is, if a game is selling in extreme high numbers, it's because of some kind of hype surrounding it. Not because "there is not many other options".
You said "... because there isn't many other options from Nintendo in the past 8 months." So I first mistakenly assumed, you were also one of those who buy a game just for the sake of buying it. ðĪ·ââïļ
@tourjeff Okay, my mistake. So you are the only clever one, buying just the games you want. Every other person is falling for Nintendo's trap and just buys a game for the sake of having a new game.
I mean, since sales of "The Wonderful 101" must now be in the millions, because it is no longer hampered by being exclusively to the failure called Wii U, there is no excuse to not make a sequel. ðĪ·ââïļ
I'm surely the only one, but in my opinion the controls were what made the game interesting. Without them, it would just be a quite mediocre and relatively uninteresting game.
@DanElectrode This was quite trollish to. But what I'm talking about is on the "Queen Peach". When the power is still cut on the ship, there is this device where Olivia says something like "Wow, what a complicate looking machine." So I turned on the power again, went back to that machine full of anticipation, thinking " Man, I wonder what this does?" I activated it and then... IT WAS JUST A FREAKING TEA-MAKING-MACHINE!!! ððĪŽ
@GX_64 I don't think you would regret it. It's a really good game and the only slight negative, for me personally, is the battle system (and only because I suck at sliding puzzles). Also this game has one of the biggest (optional) trolls I have ever encountered in a game.
@GX_64 I would say just playing through is about 25 - 30 hours. At the moment I finished the game with almost 100% and I'm clocking in at about 45 hours.
"The Origami King" is easily on top with the original game and "The Thousand Year Door". There are some points which are not so good and some which are definitely better than the first two entries. But the endgame is clearly the best of them all.
The only real negative point for me with "The Origami King" is the battle system, but only because every kind of sliding puzzle is my archenemy. Also, "Next summer genres will collide.", I wonder if this is some hint for things to come? ðĪ
@ArtiomNLS Okay, I'll keep it calm and give you one chance before I risk a ban here: 1. Go back to my first comment. 2. Read the whole comment again (shouldn't be hard, since it's just one, short sentence) 3. Lastly copy the comment and write a new post. HD-Rumble is probably my favorite feature of the Switch. It really does give a additional level of immersion if integrated properly.
