What a bunch of cr**. 🙄 How much "you" cared everyone can see, when Bayonetta sold around 1,2 - 1,3 Mill. (PS3) and 0,9 - 1,0 Mill. (XB360) total at a time the sales numbers of these consoles where well over 20 Mill. each, when the game launched and climbed well over 50 MilI. lifetime. Considering that, I do believe Bayonetta 2 sales with around 0,8 Mill. - 0,9 Mill. weren't THAT bad, considering the install base of maybe not even 10 Mill. Wii U consoles at that time and close to 14 Mill. units total.

That's quite different, because Sony have nothing to do with Yakuza and Persona. It's just Sega respectively Atlus not bringing the games to the Switch because of "reasons". And its the first time reading about people begging for a MLB The Show port. 🤔

Somewhere I read Nintendo gave Platinum Games two choices: Either Nintendo would publish The Wonderful 101, but only for Switch (obviously) or PG have to publish the game themselves, if they want to bring it multiplatform.

Simply because since Resident Evil 4, Playstation fanboys are pissing me off big time. They basically are like: "We are the only ones who should get ALL games and if you want this or that game, just buy a Playstation. RE4 for a Nintendo console? YUCK! I will never buy this."

What sacrifice? I don't really care for either. I want to play Super Mario, Mario Kart, Metroid and Zelda and every other game is a nice bonus for me. 🤷‍♂️
Plus, a like the insane versatility of the Switch and the Joy-Con.

This would never ever work. You would either reduce the size of the world dramatically or zoom out the camera extremely far.

Even after almost three years Nintendo Switch still is a hybrid and not a handheld.

I'm a little bit lost at what you're saying, because I already said Nintendoland wouldn't work, as it would lose most of its appeal. But you could still port it (but you would need two Switch consoles for certain mini-games).

Unlike most others, Nintendo isn't making the same game basically, swapping out the characters and story and call it a new IP. Mostly, they make a new IP if it fits a new gameplay/-style.

Of course you could port every game from Wii U. And of course, by saying "it wouldn't work" I meant there would be missing something essential, like the slight (or great) panic when you are looking in your backpack in ZombiU. 🙂

Nintendoland, Starfox Zero, Game&Wario ZombiU and maybe some more wouldn't even work on Switch.
But I gladly would take Super Mario 3D World, Yoshi's Wooly World, Wii Sports Resort/Club, Paper Mario Color Splash, The Last Story, The Wonderful 101, Red Steel 1+2, Metroid Prime Trilogy,...
