Re: Style Savvy Sequel Lets You Accessorize With Your amiibo Figures

MixMasterMudkip

I heard about this last night. I was gonna get it no matter what, but this definitely has me even more excited for it. I really hope it gets announced outside of Japan soon. It's sad though that so many people don't really care about Style Savvy. I honestly can't praise the series enough. Seriously you guys don't realize what you're missing out on.

Re: Talking Point: It's Time for a Nintendo Direct to Set the Agenda

MixMasterMudkip

A lot of people seemed to think there would be one over this past week. A lot of people also seem to think there will be one this upcoming week. Don't get me wrong I would love one, but with Codename: S.T.E.A.M coming out yesterday, and Mario Party 10 next Friday there is no point. People are talking about them because Nintendo games are coming out. It would be a bad idea to redirect people to other games when they need to push their new ones.

However, neither of these games are gonna grab all that much attention. So I wouldn't be surprised if they want to get more people's attention quickly. I think a big direct in 2 to 3 weeks is very plausible. Still I'd love a direct as soon as possible as always.

In terms of what I'd like to see:
-Splatoon release date (Likely May 29th, Usually the big May release day.)
-Splatoon amiibo
-Mewtwo DLC info, and other Smash stuff that was announced
-Style Savvy 3 announced for America and Europe
-Special Edition Xenoblade Chronicles new 3DS XL ( Forgot to add this one.)

I'd personally be happy with that, but I'm sure we'd see a lot more then that.

Re: Review: Meme Run (Wii U eShop)

MixMasterMudkip

@midnafanboy @TeeJay Never once did I agree with the developer. I said that I thought the game was not fairly reviewed. Which it wasn't. It by no means deserves to be called the worst game on the eShop. I agree how the developer is handling this is completely unprofessional, but what he said is completely irrelevant to my comments. I really don't see what sort of point you're trying to make.

Re: Review: Meme Run (Wii U eShop)

MixMasterMudkip

@midnafanboy If you actually read all comments you'd see I'm far from being the only one defending it. As I stated you haven't played the game, and have no bases to judge the quality of the game. You're making a uncalled for attack on not only Meme Run, but myself as well. I never blindly bought the game, and knew exactly what I was buying. You're comment seriously doesn't even make sense. How was me saying no effort was put into the review more like saying no effort was put into the game? Honestly, If you don't agree with someone else just ignore them instead of making a fool of yourself with some ignorant statement. I never caused any drama with you, and would prefer you not start anything with me. Please just move along.

Re: Review: Meme Run (Wii U eShop)

MixMasterMudkip

Most of the people who attack Meme Run haven't even played the game. I won't lie if it weren't for the fact it was about memes, and it was just a generic runner then I never would have bought it. Granted, I've really enjoyed it, and don't feel cheated at all. Meme Run may not be for everyone, but you can't deny that the game itself works and does what it set outs to do. Which it does well might I add. There are plenty of games that are far worse then Meme Run on the eShop. There has clearly been no effort put into this review at all, and as a loyal reader of the site for a few years now I really can't deny that I'm pretty disappointed.

Re: Mario Kart 8 Software Update Will Unlock amiibo Functionality With Themed Mii Racing Suits

MixMasterMudkip

I'm actually really happy about this.

I intended to buy some amiibos day one, but not Smash U since I'm going to be busy with OR/AS for awhile. Now I know I can at least try them out once I get them. Definitely getting Peach first (even though she is one of the worst looking.) I'll probably get Link too if he works with Hyrule Warriors on day one. If not either Wii Fit Trainer or Samus.

While it would have been better if this didn't get out until tomorrow I can't complain with finally knowing what they do outside of Smash. If this is only a small amount of info from the Direct tomorrow I'm sure we're in for a real treat.

Re: Weirdness: Playing as Peach Online is Triggering Auto-Bans in Japan

MixMasterMudkip

Not surprised. She's to good. I've know it since Melee.

In all seriousness she's probably only affect because she's able to pull actual items like the Beam Sword and Mr.Saturn with her down b. Dedede can't throw out capsules anymore I believe, and idk if Mr. Game & Watch's Judge still spawns a apple when he hits a 7. So, yea. It definitely seems to be the down b one way or another. I doubt it has to do with her turnips though.

Re: CoroCoro Magazine Reveals Three Mega Evolutions For Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

MixMasterMudkip

@Yorumi They haven't announced where their stats lie, and you're already complaining about how these Pokemon behave. Mega Lopunny is completely different from Lopunny going from a Trick user to a high power attacker. All three of these Pokemon needed major buffs. Lopunny and Altaria are both never had much potential, Salamence while technically a good Pokemon is completely outclassed by many other dragon types. It had nothing to keep up with this Gen's current meta. You're complaing about Pokemon that need buffs not getting them when all these Pokemon need buffs. Beyond that it seems like you think this game should be completely changing the Gen 6 meta game, which it shouldn't. I just don't see why you're saying Pokemon should be getting new Evolutions, and not Mega Evolutions. We should honestly be glad we're getting new Mega Evolutions, because new Evolutions would never happen until Gen 7. What you're saying about tiers makes no sense. It's like that because Pokemon to outclass one another. Please don't take this the wrong way, but you only seem to be against this because you didn't get the Pokemon you wanted and you lack the knowledge of how the Smogon tiers work.

Re: CoroCoro Magazine Reveals Three Mega Evolutions For Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

MixMasterMudkip

How freaking insane Mega Altaria really doesn't need to be explained. It's a Defensive Dragon/Fairy type with Pixilate and a huge move pool of Normal type attacks. That's the most outrages thing ever.
Mega Lopunny is almost as real as Diggersby. That thing is power. If you think that thing is bad you obviously have no understand of the meta game or at least very little. Smogon will regret banning Aegislash to Ubers when this thing comes on in.
Mega Salamence is a rad jet plane.
The real star of this is ICICLE CRASH Pikachu tho!
Pikachu is already super good, but a physical Ice move?! That is way to powerful! Pikachu is about to start sweeping teams, because Grass and Ground types aren't even a problem anymore!!

Re: August Is Officially Princess Peach Month, According To Nintendo Of America

MixMasterMudkip

Peach being my favorite Mario character ever. This actually made me mad when I saw it. Peach deserves a year. She deserves more then that honestly, but I wouldn't expect that. The worst thing is that they are completely disrespecting my waifu. If they were serious about this being "#PeachMonth" they would actually be tweeting about this instead of only making one dumb tweet by now. Not to mention the chances of them doing anything cool related to Peach are slim. Super Princess Peach would be great. They'd never do that though. Chances are they'll use "#PeachMonth" as an excuse to tweet more memes. More memes. Nintendo has left me, and many others deeply angered with this. They messed with the wrong group of people, and the Peach Cartel plans to make their feelings known.
