Remember when the Wii U came out? Yeah. A whole year before the PS4 and Xbox One. If it had the same powerful hardware as those two no one would be saying it's "copying" them, quite the opposite.
And who cares if they're copying them, at least we would be getting all the third party games because it's extremely easy to port x86 games.
