@mr_nihilism No, "he" isn't. The female Thor is a new character altogether, the old Thor simply isn't worthy of carrying the hammer anymore (like 99.99999% of the Marvel Universe). Considering Thor: GoT's writer is absolutely fantastic, no one should be worried.

I'm glad OoT is winning. It's not the best Zelda game AT ALL, but it's certainly better than ALttP...

@midnafanboy You know what would've been a much better? A cool cinematic of Star Fox doing something cool. Pre-rendered. Miyamoto could even make sure the cinematic looked as close as the (in-game) final product, so why didn't they do that?

@outburst Well, Assault had 3rd person gameplay that fit the series (shooting), unlike Adventure (...Zelda clone).
And yeah, they can actually improve upon that.

@midnafanboy When they..."first" showed up? They never showed it. It was pretty damn obvious it was Star Fox. Showing just a blurry screen was a terrible mistake, horribly anticlimatic.

Just kidding, this is not really surprising. Kids stick with any bad games their parents give them, and since tablet/smartphone games are cheaper, they stick with those.
THANKFULLY there still are some parents smart enough to give their children actual gaming devices. And smartphones/tablets are not really affecting 3DS sales in any significant way so...

The Wonderful 101 should totally be re-released. Just give the game to any other development studio from Nintendo (R&D? Retro? ...Monolith???) and fix all the little issues the original game had. THEN make a sequel, the possibilities are endless!

About Bayonetta 1+2, I've been excited for Bayo2 ever since it was announced so yeah. I really hope it sells well...that's completely up to Nintendo, though. Advertise the damn thing, Reggie.

Something like Skyrim meets Skyward Sword (hint: colors) would've been a perfect balance, imho. I love how Zelda U looks, but...yet another cel-shaded game after Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Skyward Sword and A Link Between Worlds? Do something different, Aonuma!

@ekreig Well, it is a handheld game. I'm pretty sure those kind of messages are present in a lot of handheld Nintendo games.

Anyway, the sub vs dub debate is a matter of which language has the better dub. If the english dub is...watchable, I'll watch it. This VERY rarely happens however, since the english voice don't fit the actual characters most of the time...
Latino dubs are great, though. For anime, at least. Most of their voices fit the characters perfectly and some are even better than their japanese counterparts! (Dragon Ball/Z, Sakura Card Captor, Serial Experiments Lain, Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters [oh god, specially this one], Shaman King...Koni-cha-- [OH MY GOD THIS ONE!!!!!])

Aaaand that's the thing with english dubs. I haven't watched a single english dub that's actually better than the original. I've heard Cowboy Bebop's and FLCL's are better than the japanese ones, but I haven't seen either one of those...
There ARE a lot of great english dubs in western animation, though. Not sure why the anime industry is any different when it shouls be even more professional since most animes aren't aimed at kids/"everyone", they're aimed at teenagers or even adults.

WOAH. Nonononono. Don't dare say that horrible, terrible art style is similar to AC's in the slightest. Nope.

@Frapp ALBW didn't have any hand-holding at all, just optional hints which you can only see with an item...

@Jayvir Yup, it hasn't aged well at all. It's still a surprisingly fun game to play if you can ignore the stiff controls for Mario, weird camera controls and sometimes awkward level design. The same can't be said for the Sonic Adventure games.
