Re: Here’s Why Traditional Dungeons Got Axed in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I reckon that the world in BoTW would have been excellent if it had a lot of lore in it. Perhaps some historic buildings that you could've explored and discover neat little facts about Hyrule's past. Korok Seeds were OK, but collecting all 900 and finding that the inventory is maxed out by about 500 is very demotivating. They also could've added more towns rather than having a majority destroyed and maybe they could've added sidequests where you had to protect some towns from Guardians and whatnot.

In regards to dungeons, your idea is very plausible. I'm also sure that Nintendo could've added in a function to the Shiekah slate where it records your progress in a dungeon before exiting the game, then when you play the game next you can play where you left off

Traditional dungeons are far better than the Divine Beasts. They better be bringing back traditional dungeons in the next game.

Also, make the world more interesting to explore. Add caves and hidden hideouts.

Oh, and for god sake stop making side quests lame fetch quests. Add some livelihood to them.

Also, in case anyone decides to reply to this comment with the smart remark of me being a troll; I can tell you now that you are horribly incorrect

Re: Feature: Revisiting Symphony Of The Goddesses With Its New Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Music

MatthewHindmarsh

I went to the Perth show back in August, it was my first time, but I must say the Breath of the Wild segments were disappointing, not worth going just to see them. I did enjoy the rest of the symphony though, especially the Skyward Sword segment which was an absolute masterpiece. Just thinking of it now, they couldn't have picked a worse song to conclude the ceremony. Such an epic night just to conclude it with a song from breath of the Wild that isn't even good

Re: Soapbox: Breath Of The Wild Is Amazing, But Is It The 3D Zelda That Enthusiasts Expected?

MatthewHindmarsh

I completely agree with this article. However, I must say that the story was terrible and weak. I had no motive to go and defeat Ganon whatsoever despite the game saying "you must hurry before it's too late". I never felt threatened by Calamity Ganon. The music was also disappointing, with only a few tracks such as Hyrule Castle and Revali's Theme being among my favourite.

Also, do not expect much from the BOTW segments at Symphony of the Goddesses, they're pretty lame. I was let disappointed at what the closing song was when I went back in August

Re: Sledgehammer Games Has a Definitive Answer on Call of Duty: WWII for Nintendo Switch - "No"

Certainly, Most Nintendo fans are 30+. It's good that they are still interested in Nintendo. However, my main gripe is that those fans aren't considered by other companies. Yes there are still young people that play Nintendo, I'm 15 and enjoy playing Nintendo not because their games are "childish" but because the gameplay is good; which leads me to the next point. It's great that Nintendo constructs games by gameplay seeing as it's pretty hard to come across games with good play. After all, the gameplay effects the player not the art style

I couldn't care of his viewpoints about games. I care more of his twisted viewpoints about general ideas, like different religions. I tend not to get into politics, he can say what he wants but I'm not going to agree with everything he says. I've seen people that he has blocked an the majority that I have seen are not childish people and especially aren't from Neogaf. He can be proud of what he does on YouTube, but it doesn't change the fact that people know what he is like and that has affected his YouTube channel.

I'm not going to get into a full blown argument about climate change, it will go on forever if we did. However, if you are that person that believes climate change is false, then let me ask you this, why are so many governments now agreeing to prevent it and why are there scientists spending each day of their lives aimlessly trying to convince people that it's a real thing? If you want to see this planet wither and die, so be it. I and many others can't wait to see how people react when in many years time, humanity is suffering from their own greed.

Re: Rumour: Artwork for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Posted Online

A very loyal Metroid fan I assume? It's nice to atleast see one open-mindedness fan. To be honest, I thought people were going to love having a new Metroid, but immediately seeing the comments online about the game dashed any thoughts I had. The sad thing is, with you (a Metroid fan since Super Metroid) saying that gameplay mechanics felt the same as the Prime series, shows that others didn't look at the game from a gameplay perspective and that's disappointing. Another thing I find odd is that the main criticism for Nintendo is that they need to change yet when they do no one likes it. I do hope people consider Mario+Rabbids it looks fun.

Re: Meet The Mario Maker Player Nintendo Wants To Ban For Keeping The Game Alive

MatthewHindmarsh

Sounds to me like some kid winging because Nintendo didn't let his courses stay in the popular section. He ain't keeping the game alive by his own levels and Nintendo certainly isn't thankful that he is making a few people play SMM. It even says in the user agreement that levels that exploit the game will be deleted (not sure if it specifies on account ban). I say good on Nintendo.
