It's just not enough for me to even consider buying. I play primarily in handheld mode but I find it a bit insulting tbh, if this is what they consider an upgrade - a slightly better screen but zero performance improvements thanks, but no thanks.
@dartmonkey why wait till now to say that? Say it straight away in future, hell, make it the first comment. You don't need a crystal ball to predict how this will play out. Oh and as for turning the tide now? Gate. Closed. After. Horse. Bolted.
@scully1888 no, my comment was actually calling for less, not more negativity. You post these kinds of articles not from some deep yearning for representation, but for clicks and to 'kick the hornet's nest' so to speak, then you sit back and eat your popcorn and watch it all kick off. (And by you, I don't mean you personally, but you catch my drift.) You can say anything you want to that, but it's the truth.
@scully1888 as I said, and as your immature, combative comment proves, if the site isn't capable of dealing with these kinds of comments, it shouldn't host these kinds of articles. Penny dropped yet?
@scully1888 I do only come to this site 'for games', thanks - it's called Nintendolife for a reason, you know? Personally I could do without articles like this, Brie Larson ones etc etc, as it just sets people against each other and shows how unwilling - or incapable - the staff are at dealing with the differing opinions they should know these kind of articles will generate.
@Darlinfan I usually agree with what you say however in this instance you are coming over as aggressive and are getting personal for someone expressing an opinion - which they have a right to, don't they? Dial it back a bit, please. I must say that this article shows the same trend as the previous ones - anybody questioning the article's relevance is immediately put in the 'them' camp and everyone - even Nintendolife Staff - start belittling them and hurling insults. I think this kind of stuff is a little bit outside Nintendolife's grasp, they should keep things light, like they used to do, or step it up and just lock comments immediately because - looking at the sheer amount of banned users in this thread - they seem incapable of controlling what they have set in motion.
Hopefully they can all be ripped and torn, until it is done...and then put back together again of course. I'm not going to throw my money away on one-use abuse toys.
If you want to see something else that deals with the same subject matter then I heartily recommend 'The Father', which Anthony Hopkins has just deservedly won an Oscar for. It's a very, very heavy film but his performance is incredible.
It was all going well for Paul Rudd, he'd secured the franchise with Marvel, he was happy and content and life was good. Then, the whispers. 'Why doesn't he age?' 'Is it surgery?' 'He looks so good'. He may have gotten away with it if not for a curious cleaner venturing into his life and discovering the hideous secret that lay there, the portrait. The portrait that revealed the true, hideous Paul Rudd. The image that sent the cleaner running, screaming to the authorities....(excerpt, The Portrait Of That Bloke From Ant Man, Harper Collins, 2020)
SXOS sell - or sold - licenses to enable your Switch to run backups of Switch games. The software to hack your Switch was freely available on their site and USB dongles - that plugged into the USB C port on the Switch - could be purchased from many places, and still can be, for just a few pounds on the internet. They made their money from selling the licenses, which would fully unlock your already 'hacked' Switch and allow you to play pirated games, without the license you couldn't really do anything.
'It's like Elder Scrolls has the Big Mac, but we've got the Big Mick. They've got the Golden Arches, mine is the Golden Arcs. They're buns have sesame seeds. My buns have no seeds'.
@karatekid1612 yes, but to be fair if that was the case what would it be now? Mario Kart 78:Avatar Mode; upload your consciousness to the net and step inside your very own choice of avatars and feel every turn and twist, smell the dust and exhaust from the racer next to you (WARNING! some users have complained of suffering PTSD due to Luigi's stare of doom*). RRP: 2,599 euro (*also slight chance of being left in a permanent vegetative state).
@WallyWest that wasn't the point I was making, you can reread my comment is you want. I'm saying that they can be compared. Of course it's inferior, doesn't mean you can't compare them and have a version that, while lacking certain elements/graphical tricks, is essentially the same game and is recognisable as such.
The fact that they still make comparisons between the Switch and 'next gen' systems just shows you that the Switch is still very much 'The Little Toaster That Could', and an ongoing force to be reckoned with.

'with the original PlayStation game – which eventually found its way to both the Nintendo DS and GameCube' No it didn't, the original PS Game was never on the GameCube.
