I'm not laughing at the poor people in that office or the bomb squad that got called in - those people all had a legitimately bad day. But I AM laughing at the PR guy who put that together thinking, "Oh, this is such a great idea!" Or more than likely NOT thinking! Wow. Way to not send any signals whatsoever that your package was safe! I know there's no such thing as bad publicity but I'm guessing whoever came up with the stunt is going to hear about it at work anyway.

My friend works at GameStop and had to do the midnight launch of WD last night... I felt so bad for her, they had over 500 preorders. Me, I'm MK all the way... but then, I only have a WiiU (and PC of course).

Lol at capturing Denpa Men in the bathroom. I remember I once took my 3DS to a restaurant and captured Denpa Men in the booth... I had to get out of the booth and stand in the aisle to get a particularly tricky one! That was the first game. It certainly had a lot of character! I'll have to pick this one up eventually.

I would buy it in a hot second if it came to Wii U... but let's face it, it's never going to come to Wii U.

@KevTastic84 Nah. I have it on my XL and that's way newer than Ambassador... but I got my original 3DS on launch day.

I liked Wii Music. I mean I didn't play it like crazy or anything but I never understood the hate it got. I guess if I had paid full price for it I would be pretty upset, but I paid $5 for it at Circuit City when it was closing. Then again I also paid $5 for Horton Hears a Who and I felt like that murdered my grandma so it can't just be the pricing.

Well, I really liked the video and didn't find anything wrong with it! It's cool to see you guys doing eShop picks again! Do you think you'll get to do one of these for NA soon, and would they be any different?

Btw you chose mostly good games.

I have the GBA cart and the Ambassador version, but it's really good it's coming to Wii U!

Pop-up Dungeon is accepting Paypal pledges, so they actually have a little more over what is listed... but not much. I think they're pretty excited about hitting the Wii U stretch.

I remember reading this over a year ago in an Iwata Asks. He said they designed the Wii U (and also the Wii) with low energy consumption in mind. So that doesn't surprise me, I knew it was more energy efficient than the other two. I just didn't know HOW MUCH more, and that it even beat out the Wii. Interesting but not overly surprising.

I was really interested in this book... and now I'm not. Shame. Maybe I'll pick up one of the other ones mentioned. Ultimate History of Video Games really is the best one out there, though. Shame it's so old!

@Agent721 Agreed. It takes all kinds of gamers to keep the industry afloat and nobody is better than another. As long as the game is functional and someone enjoys it, why hate on it so much?

I know that bodes ill for Wii U but honestly this made me laugh. Not that this game is bad or anything but that just sounds like a snub. Like the Wii U knows its little brother was full of shovelware and is trying to do better, or something.

I think I remember this game from real life! From when I was three! That makes Mario, Duck Hunt, Fester's Quest, and this one.

Very good news, though of course considering how low digitial sales were back then, not hard to do! XD

I buy a lot of digital games for 3DS and Wii U - mostly eShop games because I can't let go of physical copies for retail just yet. I'm far more willing to download digital retail 3DS games than for Wii U - it just makes more sense to me for a handheld, that I carry around all the time, than a console, where I can keep a collection all in one place. That said I downloaded enough eShop titles (and one retail title - Darksiders 2 for $20) that I filled up the 32 GBs fairly fast and now I have a 2 TB HDD. Annoying, wish it could all be combined into one object.

As far as fan art goes, this is impressive and beautiful.

@Darknyht Assuming MK8 is a system seller (keep your fingers crossed), there has to be some way to get people to go back and buy those 3-7% games like W101.

One thing I think about the 3DS in the US vs. Japan is StreetPass. Over there it's so much more crowded, you're much more likely to get hits. Here, not so much unless you live in a big city or are on a campus or something. Ever since I graduated college the only time I get StreetPass hits is when I'm travelling on vacation.

At this point (almost) any game for the Wii U is a blessing, so I hope this one drops ASAP.

Scratch that. Bring the games AND advertise the crap out of them. I want to be sick and tired of seeing Nintendo ads everywhere, not pleasantly surprised.

@Jmaster Regardless of whether or not Pokemon would work as an MMO, it's a joke, as I said. It means they need to bring the games.

Kinda ugly, kinda meh, but the eShop could always use more games and the review could surprise me. I do already own Kung Fu Rabbit though for my rabbit themed platformer.

You have to be very careful when restrictions are as simple as "no gambling." Well, Mario Party is out! (Possibly all of the Mario games where you go into a Toad Hut and match three for power ups!) Etc. Nintendo is certainly going to have a LESS difficult time than Sony or Microsoft but in the end choosing which games to port that fit the bill... I can't imagine even they will have too many.

Hover looks GREAT and I'm glad it'll make its goal. I finally backed Heart Forth, Alicia. Hope it makes 3DS - Kicktraq thinks it will, comfortably.

I've had Popup Dungeon funded for a while. These articles drain my wallet.

The skins are hideous but the wheels are nice. Too bad I never use wheels, they make it impossible to control the game!

I'm sure this game will still get made. It was foolish of them to Kickstart it and foolish of them to treat everybody as they did. Obviously they have no PR skills. Personally I didn't back it because it's not the type of game I like, but also because the goal was so high. If they intend to Kickstart again they need to pick one or two platforms to start with and then plan to port, but really I think they should just try to find themselves a publisher.

None of these super fast runs are glitch free anyway. I think it's really cool when people find new ones after all this time!
Also, glitches are not the same as cheating.
