There are some really good games coming to 3DS, I count at least five from that list I'll be getting, but just like the Wii U list it's a drought until September!

I, too, would play Endless Ocean U.

If only there were something coming out between now and September.

That said it looks pretty decent and I'm glad it's coming to the Wii U's library. I hope it gets the reception it deserves and it's great to see Nintendo stepping up and releasing some games with balls.

3DS MH is always good, though. Nice to have such a great game in your pocket. Of course, it's also nice to have such a great game on an HD screen in your basement/living room/where ever. If it ever comes to Wii U I know I would double dip.

I always just ignore @Mahe. I personally like the Gamepad and I like my Wii U enough to tell people about it. -shrug- I think the problem lies more in lack of advertising than the Gamepad, because I've never met a person outside of this site who has tried a Wii U and has a problem with the Gamepad.

Anyway, nice to see numbers like this! Hopefully the sales are the start of something even bigger... but I think they're a temporary thing. This holiday season is where we're really going to see the Wii U take off.* That and next year. One of my best friends is waiting until next year to buy hers after seeing the E3 show.

Nintendo has its back up against a wall... and this is when it always delivers the most interesting stuff! Which it totally did this E3. I'm sure they have plenty more in reserve, too. You don't blow all your surprises at once.

I really can't wait to try this game. I think it really has the potential to be something great, even though, God, do I ever hate the egg shooting mechanic.

The gamers definitely won E3. This is a great time to be a gamer. I wonder if it's the last great time (if consoles are dying and it's the last golden age) but regardless I was happy.

I think we will eventually see a game that that is based specifically around amiibo figurines, when there are enough floating around that they don't have to manufacture a series for that game. Because otherwise some of them will be pretty useless in other games (I'm looking at you, Wii Fit Trainer). Unitl then I think this a pretty cool way to go about it.

I've got a Wii U, but I've preordered that white Destiny PS4 - and the article is right, I did not have a PS3.

Well, I think @Kirk likes the game, personally. Look how much emotion it's inspiring! The definition of a successful game at E3 is one you're talking about and people are certainly talking about Splatoon. It's mostly positive too. That and memetic.

@Kirk remember that there is no such thing as bad publicity. Your talking about Splatoon in your little ragey way is helping it to eventually be a hit.

Man, watching these trailers, I miss a Nintendo in-person conference. But it would be wacky and off the wall anyway and we wouldn't see these trailers anyway, we'd still see The Epic Of Yoshi's Wooly World and so on. Not that that wasn't nice, but...

I like that Nintendo does its own thing, I do. I wish they could get the same recognition though, because I feel like they get overshadowed. Most people are going to miss these trailers, for example.

In all seriousness, there were a lot of really great things today like Zelda and even Mario Maker but the hype of the Smash Invitational was beyond compare.

Can I just say this was an interesting comment section to read and I'm glad NL doesn't devolve into trolling and name-calling within two posts like most other sites that let you post comments?

I still have this on GBA, as well as Ambassador. Absolutely a fantastic game.

I chose Child of Light, but it was really close between that and Little Inferno. Both of those games are really atmospheric and stick with you for a long time.

I don't know if I like this list as much as I like the other one. But then the Wii U eShop isn't really that stunning yet, especially when you take out the VC. It has three or four standout games but nothing that really puts it on par with other downloadable services. I'm really hoping that changes in the next few months because I really do think the eShop and Wii U VC could be THE place to check every week for the system. By the end of the Wii's lifespan there were so many good Wiiware and VC titles I had to come to this site to figure out what to get, and the 3DS is really hopping too (especially considering it has backwards compatibility with DSiWare). The Wii U really needs to step up its game in this respect... we know it's possible.

I went for NSMBU for my free game btw because it was the only one I didn't already have (I live in NA). I agree that it sucks the selection is so slim compared to the UK but free is free. It's still a good game I didn't have!

@Luffy I wasn't aware they were banning all sales of Wii U consoles effective immediately. I'm glad I already bought mine!

MK8 + Smash + Zelda will sell a ton of Wii Us over the course of the system's lifespan. Not as much as the other two but you don't have to weep over MK8 on its fourth day out when it's selling so incredibly well.

It's a shame it has so many bugs right now, or I'd be very sorely tempted to break in on all my Mario Karting and pick this up. Instead I think I'll hold off.

I will definitely have to think about picking one of these up. I hope it bodes well for GC VC releases as well. It's well past time they delve into that money maker. I have a lot of fond memories from the GC days. If they could bring us several GC games a month for a few years... Think of the possibilities. I want Wii U VC to kick Wii VC's butt.
