@Heavyarms55 Try free to play Warhammer Champions for some collecting card game fun on Switch. And maybe once I've learned how to play it we can play each other!
Go to a hospital that has patients in bed. Go with nine of the Kens. Give away nine Kens to nine really ill patients or overworked staff who are gamers or kids/have kids. Many patients have nobody to visit them even many patients in the worst health have no visitors even on special days like Christmas/NYE. You won't just make their day, you'll make their year for some people. Some people will remember you forever.
(Pro-tip: Unbox the Kens when by a patient to reduce risk of theft. Unfortunately theft from patients does happen due to low pay and sh***y capitalist values)
At home by my dock I'll use my wired Pikachu USB GameCube controller I bought from Nintendo UK for battles I'm finding it hard to win. Otherwise I'll use a Smash edition Pro Controller. Away from that I'll probably just use thumbsticks on the Switch Joycons.
@Laxeybobby Treat yourself to the Warlock Of Firetop Mountain game. It's inexpensive and I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed. It's highly recommended by me for those who like FF books. Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone had major input into this game and supporting it encourages them to produce more games for us! ⚔️🛡️🍀🎲🎲
@KennyBania Don't let that put you off. You need a good wired controller and you need to allow yourself to slowly get better. That's what I do. I'm not good at these games but I still love them and I still enjoy playing them.
Warlock Of Firetop Mountain and I'm getting better, making progress, enjoying the game a lot as it takes me back to childhood Fighting Fantasy books!
Horizon Chase Turbo How have I sunk more time into this than into the magnificent Forza Horizon 4? Portable is why that is. And I'm still loving it. Just finally after great efforts I've unlocked Hawaii and picked up some Japan silver cups!
Later, at nightfall I'll play more of the absolutely splendid truly criminally underrated gem Nights Of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon. It's a wonderful game to play at night, a great wind down for bed.
I expect Microsoft has given Nintendo inspiration and possibly technical advice. The step up in power and display by the 1X over the the original Xbox one is massive. Yet Microsoft haven't divided their audience. Games play on all Xbox one consoles, there are simply extra assets for Xbox 1X that only those consoles download and use so those games play better on 1X. Microsoft cracked the variable software problem. Similarly cooling they cracked too using a vapour chamber not a fan which was another first in gaming outside PCs. And vapour cooling is on some phones now. I expect a switch Pro would initially be very expensive but this is the right year for it as Nintendo has the limelight while Sony are quiet.
@Heavyarms55 That is true. But Japan and commercial considerations don't always follow what we expect. I could see a Kirby game being marketed off the back of this game. Backwards I know, but what can you do!
£30-? The digital is £4- on the Mexican eShop for Brits who have a card that works on North American eshops. This release is only for hard core fans of the Deververse. Having never heard of the game/books before I won't be punting up thirty queen's heads for this release. But I will get it in digital some time particularly if it's in sale.
I'm not keen on mobile games myself bar the odd bit of online pool. But I'm glad Nintendo are doing this so that they can build up fan followings in developing countries where Switch isn't sold but phones are. Everyone deserves to be able to play a bit of Nintendo.

I'm surprised we don't have Gwent on Switch.
Re: Bureaucratic Blunder Means Russian Smash Bros. Team Misses Euro Tournament
Btw this doesn't sound like a mistake. It sounds like Kremlin interference.

In Russia... Nintendo RU get you!
Re: Review: Cuphead - The Xbox Masterpiece Becomes An Essential Purchase On Switch
Where can one buy Cuphead in physical?
Re: Review: Cuphead - The Xbox Masterpiece Becomes An Essential Purchase On Switch
Not a single fault mentioned. This review reads as 10/10 so that should be its rating amirite?
Re: Video: Here's The Mortal Kombat 11 Gameplay Reveal For Nintendo Switch
I'm double dipping on this. I'm pre-ordering it for Switch and I'll play it on Xbox when it inevitably comes on to Game Pass there. Win win!!!
Re: Pichu, Isabelle And Pokémon Trainer amiibo Arrive In North America This July
Pokémon trainer gotta! And might be useful for Let's Go Pikachu and this year's Pokémon game!
Re: The Legend Of Zelda Champions amiibo And Wolf Link Are Back In Stock At Nintendo's UK Store
I don't find these amiibo appealing. Not sure why. They just lack warmth.
Re: Random: Mario And Friends Cause Metrolink Mayhem In Manchester
Cute cute cute cute! More of this please!

I can't justify this, and yet, and yet, I'm totally tempted!!!

Re: GRID Autosport Might Be Receiving A Retail Release On The Switch
@dugan There's also Isle of Man TT coming to Switch for realistic racing. That could be brilliant.
Re: Trials Rising's First Expansion Lets You Cruise And Crash Down America's Route 66
I prefer Trials Rising on Switch to previous Trials games I played on Xbox 1S. It really is fun, great music, good intuitive controls.
Re: A Spiritual Successor To 1080° Snowboarding Might Be In The Pipeline
Might make up for being cruelly denied STEEP.
Re: GRID Autosport Might Be Receiving A Retail Release On The Switch
@Baart Horizon Chase Turbo is a BRILLIANT FANTASTIC racing game on Switch.
Re: Review: Shadowgate - A Faithful And Tricky Remake Most Suited To Retro Fans
@NotTelevision Not a problem for me as I don't own any Apple products!
Re: Review: Shadowgate - A Faithful And Tricky Remake Most Suited To Retro Fans
Will there be a physical release?
Re: Review: Shadowgate - A Faithful And Tricky Remake Most Suited To Retro Fans
Game sounds like an 8/10 for fans of the genre. I'm definitively interested in lighting up a torch for this!

Bethseda felt they weren't hated enough over Fallout 76. So they did this...
Re: Kitana Graces Us With Her Presence In The Latest Mortal Kombat 11 Trailer
@luxoricious Reviled? You want characters to be hated? Why?!
Re: Kitana Graces Us With Her Presence In The Latest Mortal Kombat 11 Trailer
@Medic_alert @Trikeboy I watched the video in a tiny window on my phone on portrait. Honestly didn't see any blood from Kitania!

Can I point out the video had no blood in it so technically it wasn't gory?
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 13th)
So far today I've played:
Warlock Of Firetop Mountain and I'm getting better, making progress, enjoying the game a lot as it takes me back to childhood Fighting Fantasy books!
Horizon Chase Turbo How have I sunk more time into this than into the magnificent Forza Horizon 4? Portable is why that is. And I'm still loving it. Just finally after great efforts I've unlocked Hawaii and picked up some Japan silver cups!

@SetupDisk Red marks on your head? That's just what happens when you leave the Matrix and enter the true reality of the Virtual Boy world.
Re: Video: Here's Your First Look At Mortal Kombat 11 Running On The Nintendo Switch
I'm konvinced this will be a killer game and a suprise overhead hit on Switch that no one saw coming.
Re: Video: Here's Your First Look At Mortal Kombat 11 Running On The Nintendo Switch
Nintendo giving its backing to the game is reassuring.

Re: Random: Sony's Shuhei Yoshida Has Pre-Ordered The Nintendo Labo VR Kit
I still think LABO VR is a kids building project. Nice but not for me. The next iteration of Nintendo VR - for adults - is what interests me.
And by that I don't mean boob games but some people undoubtedly do.

Re: This Borderless Pokémon Trading Card Artwork Is Absolutely Stunning
@arekdougy I'm just mystified. I didn't see it on the news. Or anywhere on BBC. Would like to see it.
Re: Switch Online Mobile App Receives New Update, But It's Still Mostly Useless
Nintendo mobiling like it's 2010.
My guesshope is that they're saving a big update for E3.

Re: Panty Party Is Receiving A Switch Release Outside Of Japan
Games like this make me uncomfortable. My solution to that is I don't buy these kinds of games.

Re: Criterion Games Founder Says Nintendo Never Asked The Studio To Make A New F-Zero
Somewhat contradictory article but whatever. I hope Ward creates great successful games in his new venture.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Wins Famitsu Game Of The Year Award
@Heavyarms55 Good choices for the Heavyams Character of the Year Award! And I appreciate how calm and reasoned the rest of your answer was.
The Kirby award was surprising. Maybe ~thinking positive~ it hints at a fantastic new Kirby game coming.
Re: Wolfenstein: Youngblood Might Come With A Download Code Instead Of A Game Card
If we want a Game card version we have to tell Bethesda we're willing to pay the extra that game card manufacture costs. So contact them. Tweet them.
Bethseda are probably doing this code thing for retail prominence and to enable gifting of the game.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Wins Famitsu Game Of The Year Award
@Heavyarms55 Who would you award the character prize to?
