Re: Review: Wargroove - A Turn-Based Strategy Classic That Intelligent Systems Would Be Proud Of

don’t worry, you can save and quit at any time

I really like how this feature is implemented on every game on the Nintendo Switch, as it embraces the on-the-go factor nicely. Even Octopath Traveler does have a savepoint within every screen, so you can advance the story quite nicely.

At the same times, all the ports are missing out on this. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Hollow Knight from time to time, but not being able to save is a detriment for me (granted, it's part of the design of the game).

For the game:

I really feel tempted, but still got to finish Mario+Rabbids: Battle Kingdom and there is the next Fire Emblem on the horizon, so it all boils down to time management, especially with me being engaged in hunting Power Moons in Oddysey and grinding in Octopath Traveler...

I am not surprised, the PS4 had now to killer releases that are not coming to the Nintendo Switch. With the rush to get Smash out before Christmas last year Nintendo got a nice HIGH, but from now on they really need to communicate to the fans about what to expect (in the near future) from Nintendo.

Though this might be also good, if the PS4 is now again in for the competition, Nintendo has to improve which results in good things for the consumer.

Re: Nintendo Switch Firmware 7.0.0 Already Hacked Just Four Hours After Going Live

Hardware revision will only do so much since there are a lot of Switches already out in the open and they want to sell their stock.

I think the best way going forward is offering a solid package so people are not inclined to bother with hacking their console.

While yes, they won't be able to meet everything you can do with a hacked Switch, but quality of life updates, or offering much more customisation.

@purpleibby As a Wii U owner I can def say that your comment is pure hyperbole there are enough new games on the Switch and on the horizon and Nintendo never came out and cancelled the Switch version for Prime 4. I wager that they are not far into the next generation in terms of development that development of Prime 4 will actually be capable to be for the next generation, so they are probably very much developing with the Switch in mind.

Re: Talking Point: How Do You Feel About The Metroid Prime 4 Delay?

@Hoho Don't you worry I hear and not dismiss your point completely. You are talking with someone that is still waiting for his own F-Zero game... so yeah it's high time for some IPs to hit.

I can at this point hope is that they wanteds to clear the air about the Metroid Prime 4 before a Nintendo Direct and not have the Direct to be associated with that delayed Metroid Prime 4, but rahter what games are coming. So they still got potential to redeem themselves.

@Hoho Though there are some things they can do to accelerate the problems, i.e. making some dev teams a bit bigger. Sure you can only do this at certain levels and until a certain stage of the game and you just can't press a magic button, but I think they are well aware that they won't be able to catch up without any sacrifices.

Also a quick research shows that Bandai Namco handled Prime 4 until now, so all Nintendo lost is money in that regard.

For example they can go shopping for some Nintendo Exlclusive Deals rom some devs.

On the one hand, yes I am disappointed, on the other hand I am rather with Nintendo. There are already too many games under the sun that needed to meet an abritrary deadline and handing this over to Retro Studios and start fresh, is better than delivering another OTHER M.

Also in unreleated news, this means whatever Retro Studios is working on / has been working on after the Tropical Freeze port is coming, so let's rejoice in that.
