@Ryu_Niiyama I think the industry has come a long way from the realistic dreary trend. The low point was definitely during the 360/PS3 era. Every other game was about generic guy with a buzzcut (usually a space marine) and the color palette consisted of green, gray, brown, black.

I feel like games really started to move away from that with the PS4/One era. Games weren't afraid to embrace brighter and more varied colors.

@Serpenterror Pizza Hut uses the same ingredients at all the restaurants, so it seems like "they closed the good ones" is irrelevant. Of course, you'll have outliers where the locations suck, but you're using a personal anecdote as a basis for the company as a whole. I usually hear people say the restaurant as a whole has gone downhill, not because a couple of local locations closed down.

I don't understand why people are in such a rush to still pre-order games. Not like this game will be out of stock on release. Guess people still haven't learned from pre-ordering based off hype.

@Arawn93 Not sure why it being a mainline game means anything. Why wouldn't this be a game that expands on Legends? You said the idea of an open world in Pokémon started with Sword & Shield wild areas, which then led to the expansion packs, which the Legends devs took inspiration from. Doesn't that mean Scarlet Violet will go a step further?

@UglyCasanova First, this won't be 60 bucks. 30 bucks tops. Second, Nintendo isn't publishing, so I'm not sure why you're giving them a middle finger. It's not their choice to put 3rd party games on Nintendo Online.
