Re: EA Brings Its Cheaper 'Best Hits' Range To Switch In Japan, Starting With FIFA 19

@Folkloner His name is Paulo Dybala. Plays for Juventus. It’s his goal celebration.

The Argentine says he transforms into a gladiator upon finding the target, with his warrior spirit helping to carry him through times of struggle.

Yeah so that’s why. Football is a gladiator game where people try to kill each other by targeting the shins of everyone else. Because that’s where it reeeeeally hurts on football players!

Also best hits is stupid since they only have four games in total...

@Trajan
Yeah I know that. But when it was released it was an exclusive since noone knew it would later be coming out for PC. The switch is no successor to 3DS. It’s a successor to Wii U that is truly portable. Or more or less portable at least.

The system can perform quite demanding games. Just look at the performance on some nintendo games and panic button games. It’s quite capable if the time and energy and money is spent to make the games great. And I think it would pay of for more publishers to give the Switch audience more tailored experiences that’s been made exclusively with the switch in mind.

@Wavey84
I agree. I hate that the ports of old games has taken the place of new games. I can’t believe that the big publishers aren’t using the very high spending Switch owners to put out original content specific for that audience. I think exclusives are what Switch owners really want and will buy. Just look at octopath traveller. It’s sold in millions. But that’s really the only big exclusive I can think of from the big publishers...

Re: Switch Overtakes Nintendo 64 Lifetime Sales, According To New Estimates

Ladasta

The games sakes seems low. But we have to count the changing landscape of today with the large number of indie titles not being counted I guess. Those will probably hurt retail sales a bit. However, the numbers are quite high anyway for Nintendo since it’s mostly first party games who have sold really large amounts. The N64 had a bit better third party support, not by much but still.

Great game. Perfectly playable and immensly addicting. I have played over 90 hours. But I think I am a better person when I’m not playing it. It took over my life a bit and made me a grumpier person. Not the games fault though
The worst thing about the switch version is that I’ve experienced numerous game crashes where the game just shuts down and kicks me out to the home meny. Then there are graphical glitches to, especially during replays where whole segments of the track diappear and the rider is riding in mid air. But it’s just laughable how it can happen, nothing major or game breaking.

Re: Japanese Poll Discovers That Vast Majority Of Viewers Were Pleased With The Nintendo Direct

I thought it was pretty boring from a personal standppint. But for Nintendo it will be great. The games will sell like Jeebus. Mario maker fir example. I liked the platinum game, yoshi always looks awesome, then Fire Emblem. Didn’t really care fore the zelda remake. Love the original, will stick to that i will probably get box boy and box girl and play with my girlfriend. Co-op platforming is always fun

Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd August (North America)

So many games I want to play but I can’t justify buying them all... Monster hunter is so good. Deagons cafe looks nice, bad north seems cool, prison architect, morphies law. Omg, and I already have 5-6 games unopened on my switch...

Re: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Tops The UK Charts For Eighth Consecutive Week

@MichaelHarvey I’ve been playing it since release on switch. So yes I’ve seen it. The gameplay is very repetitive. Run, jump, spin, destroy boxes, find gem repeat. The scenery is quite diverse though. But not terribly exciting. Mostly it’s the wonky controls that hamper my enjoyment though since I die so often that I have to repeat the same levels 60 times to even get the most basic gem.
