god no! it has nothing to do with tech. its the nature of link and our imagination needs space to breathe. the blindingly obvious problem is just how awful most voice acting is
i think a large part of the switch to online only is that A.I is the hardest aspect to code. it also ensures that gamers buy the same game year on year.
"I like demos. Having played loads of them, I can say that there have been quite a few games that I had been thinking of buying but after playing the demo I changed my mind.
101 was not a game I was going to buy, but I did play the demo and I enjoyed it, but there was not quite enough gameplay to send me rushing out to get a copy."
unfortunately some feel that they have a monopoly on morality. and in our mediated environment, he who shouts loudest, shouts last, and regular people just keep quiet and remember that off the net people just generally get along:) personally i love difference and that includes opinions
@EllenJMiller "It's okay to have content in games that makes people uncomfortable."
thank god (or whatever deity, system, ramen or herb you wish) someone has said this. Rather than get offended on someone else behalf or misunderstand what censorship means or cultivate deliberately thin skin to gain sympathy.
software drives hardware. and there is no compelling software on the horizon let alone currently. the gfx cards necessary are also beyond the ps4/xboxone and probably NX. the media are really letting people down by rehashing marketing and being so uncritical. i'm more interested in augmented and secondary displays. immersion does nt require technology it requires artistry
glad ive delayed upgrading my 3ds, that is gorgeous. my 3ds has been out of action for near 12 months with only steamworld heist keeping it near the charger, now a whole lotta fire emblem and dragon quest on the way. hooray!!
yep i do! dont change for my sake, look forward to the next installment of hypnotic avatar:) i'll check out the reference on youtube, if its what i expect it is then the google advertising profiler will wonder what to sell a guy who listens to Dr Octagon, Sunn O))) and perfume:)
you always use hypnotic avatars damn you:) i agree about achievements they suck unless they are at the end of a level and mean something(excepting Gran tUrismo), but with bayonetta and w101 i scrapped and cursed and lusted for every medal!
you only button mash once you have initiated the attack. the game is about positioning and timing. i struggle to think what games have been keeping bayonetta 2 out of your consoles:) its one of the games of the decade, assuming you like action, and a bad mother of a hero.
Bayonneta 3 for NX ninty and hire kojima for new gen Tactical Espionage Action.
@EllenJMiller i totally agree, despite my avatar. the posturing, self importance of the so called mature gaming and messaging in indie gaming is far more embarassing than the goofy nintendo games like splatoon or w101. i want fun not moral vanity in my gaming. colour and imagination and the emphasis on original mechanics are what keep me interested in gaming
got it and happy with the price. the game is deeeeeeeeep. and unique. casual gamers, why comment? it'll never be a few bucks because you cant create systems with this complexity for mass market pokefans. its niche sure, but there is no alternative so i am happy to pay these legends for their hard work. this is essentially Atrain 9 by the way. on the go. pun intended.
this is going to be great. like everyone else i am surprised that its taken more than six months to make such a simple game. also the fact that there was once water on mars suggests the wii u version might only be playable while standing on your head, sucking your thumb
oh man i loved everything these guys did. could not pick a favourite........maybe speedball, no chaos engine....no xenon 2 arghh!
like above, not a pom either
@sillygostly sometimes it feels like the fans are being asked to make an offering to keep the church of nintendo afloat. i'm a sucker for the monkey suit and megaman suit though. pardon the late reply
yes please. everything these guys and gals do is awesome. space strategy in my lounge room; a proper FU to the odd couple and two and a half manchildren
love the look of this and its a perfectly reasonable price. if you look at the prices 20 years ago, people were paying between 40 -70 pounds for a cartridge game. this is the price of a few subway sandwiches
great game at a low price. honestly if its worth your time, its worth the money. i dont care if its cheaper on ios. i dont consider phones and tablets game platforms, all phones have done for gaming is flappy birds, ads and a delusional sense of entitlement amongst gamers
thanks nyamnyam i loved it
wonderful game. looking forward to heist. with so much retail and eshop garbage about its great to see these guys make a bit of dosh and put it back into their studio
best action game of all time. thanks platinum! everything about bayo 2 is flawless and it kicks robot arse to see a game made by gamers instead of by committee
if you seriously need another gaming platform then you are wasting your money on the drivel ms and sony have on them. buy a graphics card for your pc and install steam. cheaper and better. i dont buy nintendo systems to play batman, ass. creep unity or cod bollocks. i like gaming, not these dress up simulators and right wing teenage war fantasies
@LordOfGamez apart from this, DK Tropical Freeze and MK8 wiiu has been poor this year, whereas the 3ds has great 3rd party support. next year should be great particularly with Fire Emblem X SMT. only nintendo could hold down the fort with exclusives alone and a few quality indies p.s. only just got my hands on Shin Megami Tensei 4 on 3ds and it is awesome
a favourite developer. i would kill for a hd viewtiful joe pack (which i guess is capcoms call). @edcomics i didnt like the w101 demo, but i bought the full game and love it. it seems that for a game of its depth releasing a very limited demo was a bad idea.
"Mad Men Football Shows Off Its New N64-Inspired Sports Uniform" eh? Thats like saying an old crazed man wandering down the street naked speaking gibberish is showing off. oh ok, its just an experiment in bad taste and the pulling power of websites with no game to flog to still get clicks
bad graphics are not retro, they are just bad graphics. pixel graphics can be fun because they offer a different perspective, which affects gameplay. in some cases, its just nostalgia. i dont feel nostalgia for most early polygonal games.

perfectly explaining why demos are not effective
