I don't like them, it feels like anime or some promo images pasted there and done. No sense of design, no nothing. Some of them are barely ok but I don't know why it is hard to make decent VG clothing without plastering images that are not that amazing when worn.
Wow what a poopy thing to have, you have a normal functional mind but you are stuck in a body that does not respond well at all. That kid will have some real hardships, but with a father like that he will be able to sort it out.
@DESS-M-8 My background on electronics is pretty tame, barely basic even though I'm studying physics engineering. I've been meaning to improve but I'm a coward on f***ing up devices.
Hey look at the high and mighty fans, what could Nintendo do without your unbreakable loyalty?
/s
Anyway, cool concept, I may even do it myself but I'm always afraid I won't know what to do with electronics and this seems to require some soldiering. But it would be worth the risk of screwing up.
Jesus all these high horses are tiresome. It's not like we raided Nintendo HQ and took your precious childhoods. This is for the GBA, a dead console and while you could get the games on the Wii U (stupid choice IMO) it doesn't hurt Ninty one bit if you used this.
I use an EZ-Flash IV and my Micro and it's great to be able to access all of the GBA games whenever I want.
@burninmylight graphics, just look at them, the art style may not look all that hot to you but the 3DS is not capable of having those graphics without some serious downgrade. Just look at the Rayman game that was ported and tell me it didn't suffer.
@GeminiSaint A remake would be better, the game itself is awesome as it is but a camera rework is sorely needed for some parts, like the aerial battle against the Bonnes.
@Marce2240 Well it is funny that egua and equa are used for similar purposes as I'd guess both latin and celtic languages had their respective words before that exchange of romans trying to conquer the isles.
@noutBr I once tried that but found it too cumbersome. Specially if I wanted "legit" distribution only legendaries. Guess I'll try again after researching the easiest and best way to get them.
@noutBr Does Pokegen still works? After the death of the DS network I remember it died along with a site (I may be talking of the same thing, I don't remember) that allowed you to get any mon you generated there.
I just hope the VC keeps going, so far it has been underwhelming compared to the PS equivalent and that is sayin a lot. I'll probably cave in and buy this but I hope this is just some side project made just for kicks and nothing else.
@ShadJV and I wholly agree, hell most fans agree and I haven't seen anywhere that there is confusion about having to different series of the same genre and franchise. But here we are.
@NintendoFan64 sometimes I'm flabbergasted at what I percieve is incompetence of them, I mean it's either that or they are just insane.
But it is them words and I have a feeling Miyamoto had a hand in this. The guy is a legend and will always be but his best days are definitely behind him.
@NintendoFan64 They are just getting away from the RPG formula because the Mario and Luigi series will be the one to hold such genre. Which is idiotic but this is modern Nintendo to you.
People are too forgiving or ignorant of what this guy did. They don't seem to recall the harsh words for his fellow japanese developers and the ruckus that caused which if you ask me is big part of why he was fired from Capcom. Now in the project itself he promised a spiritual successor of Megaman, and while not directly, one of the same quality if not better.
He got funded in one of the quickest KS I've seen and then fumbled the whole thing so hard I'm amazed he held a job so high at Capcom. And if that was not enough he asked for more money for an anime of an unproved "franchise" instead of focusing on the task at hand.
I'm sorry, I'm done being all cuddly with people just because everyone suppossed to have second chances. To hell with it, if you make lofty promises and fail then you deserve to burn.
This E3 was underwhelming to say the least for all. For me the event is getting less atractive by the year, though I understand Nintendo didn't really had much to show due to the change from Wii U to NX and the 3DS being on what seems to be its last legs.
@bitleman you are acting like all the 3DS titles are all 80+ metascore grandpieces. A look at the eshop brings down any ignorant opinion like yours. The Vita library while full of ports is bigger and better (third partywise) than the 3DS, fullstop. I own both and I love each in their own way but speaking strictly portable this is true.
I had the tranparent one until it was stolen... Sigh I loved it, it was my first console ever and I still have the box, someday when I have enough money I'll buy it again.
Only saw the first boss video, I'm kinda convinced to buy the game. It had those MM vibes I was looking for even though the dash mechanic is up in the air about how good or bad it can be.
@Donutman Nope, I enjoyed more the Mighty Gunvolt game. I mean the artwork is cool and the premise is innovative but the execution is kinda not interesting, too much a hassle for me.
Probably I'm of the few here who doesn't get the appeal but Azure Gunvolt is not that good of a game. If you went in expecting some Megaman inspired game of almost the same quality you are in for dissapointment.
It's not a bad game but it is not that good either.
I'm amazed at the ingenuity and childish views of such a problem. You can't reduce this to a black and white problem of Nintendo good, hackers bad.
I agree that piracy could hurt devolpers and that by law Nintendo has right to do this but their way to "solve" the problem is as asinine as it gets, no wonder why many people have this perception of them being stuck in the middle ages.
@Freeon-Leon I think Miyamoto best days are past him. Yes he is a legend, yes he was a key component in bringing VG back to life after the crash, yes he has made some of the most iconic pieces of entretainment ever.
But he can't keep this forever, and he certaintly hasn't, his latest productions are lacking and I think the man is too deep in his own perception to notice that people kinda want other things or that what he makes is not gold out of the gate. He is now like a George Lucas, the man has great ideas but he really needs a filter or two before he puts them to work.
For the first time in years I can actually envision Nintendo going under. The NX will be a make it or break it choice for them and if they fail like they did with the Wii U then I guess I'll see what every damn fanboy from the other companies wanted, their demise.
Thing is, if this happens it will surely miss any Nintendo consoles unless magically the NX is at least on par with the PS4 and One. So I really hope Nintendo has beefed their console because I don't want another gen of missed third party games.
I just hope they can add more DLC in the form of the other bosses having their own quests, and Shield Knight too. I don't care paying for that if the price is right.
Been playing this on my Micro, really an awesome game, I'm just preparing myself for the Dragon Den. I don't know exactly the consensus here but as far as I know many people consider this version the best FFVI version even with the sound downgrade.

Re: Video: Take A Rare Look Behind The Scenes At Nintendo's Hit Factory, Circa 1990
Man the BBC should give those archives a little work so they can be at least 480p, though 720p would be appreciated.
Anyway awesome little piece of behind the scenes in Nintendo.
Re: Ubisoft CEO: "Nintendo Has Learned from the Wii U"
Yeah, I won't believe it until I see it. And even then it has to prove itself in the market.
Fans (and fanboys) tend to have selective memories on promises and also tend to justify much of the decisions made even if they are wrong.
I hope the NX is an excellent console that is worth my money and the money of millions others.
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd September (North America)
where are my Megaman X virtual console games for the 3DS?
Jesus NoA what takes so long?

@DAO1988 If I'm not mistaken is a JoJo parody right?
Re: Gallery: A Closer Look At The Aether Foundation, Ultra Beasts and More in Pokémon Sun and Moon
I'd imagine beast UB-40 will be singing reggea songs.
Re: Mario Makes an Appearance in the Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony
I couldn't stop grining like mad when this happened. Nice intro for Japan, I can't wait to see what they actually do when 2020 comes.
Re: Italian Bishop Likens Pokémon GO To Nazism, Claims It Turns Players Into "Walking Dead"
@AlexSora89 you shouldn't, sadly I've seen every country make this kind of assesment on Pokemon Go, it's like is 1998 all over again.
The difference is that some countries have recognizable people saying it, but it's all the same.

If they released X2 and X3 I'd be delighted. And Super Mario RPG, and Super Castlevania, you know what they still have a lot to release damn it.

@Marce2240 So that is the root of the word llegua in spanish. Very interesting.

Re: SNES PlayStation Prototype Set to Feature At Game On Expo
It did change gaming history though, just not under the Nintendo brand.
Re: Feature: Unboxing the Super Famicom New Nintendo 3DS XL
@Manjushri must see the new one but pixel density is the same as far as I know so it shouldn't look different.
Re: Feature: Unboxing the Super Famicom New Nintendo 3DS XL
@samuelvictor I get you and IMO, the New 3DS has the perfect screen size though I'm quite used to small screens (I love my GBA Micro to bits).

Neat, though I will never understand the love for the XL, the bigger pixels really kills my interest.

Re: Feature: Our Top 20 Highest Rated 3DS eShop Games
@CrazedCavalier Many did specially because of Inticreates was involved in many late Megaman games and it borrows some of the ideas of that series.
It is easy but the mechanics for me are boring and cumbersome.

Mmmm DKC3 or MM Legacy Collection? Tough choices here...
Re: New Handheld Channels The Spirit Of The Game Boy And Can Run Virtual Boy Games
It was stupid fun the virtualboy gag in the first video. Like there are screens made for 3D but screw them, lets attach some lenses oldschool style.
For the device itself, it seems like an interesting buy for tinkerers.

Re: Nintendo's eShop Revenues Hit a New High, Driven By DLC and Generation I Pokémon

I really hope someday Nintendo takes a note from Sony on the digital front. Their pricing is brutal and the account system is underwhelming at best.

Bunch of sissies, insults and taunts are bread and butter of any competitive activity, more so if it involves fighting even if it's virtual.
Now banning a character because it gives unfair advantage? That's ok.
