Just recently the 2016 Winter Wonder Festival took place in Japan, an event where toys and figures have a chance to shine. As you'd expect of any popular culture gathering in the country you didn't need to go far to find Nintendo goodies - Good Smile, the master purveyors of Nendoroid and Figma figures, were naturally out in force.
Figures related to Pokémon, the Zelda franchise, Samus, Fire Emblem and Meta Knight have all been featured at that event and confirmed in recent times. Some will surely be heading to Western retailers, while others will be the preserve of importers. It's a question of which ones not to buy, we'd suggest, rather than choosing favourites.
So, as a pleasing way to kick-off the week you can see images below of some of these new figures, some in their final form and a couple as prototypes or concept art from the Wonder Festival.

Wow that Toon Zelda, Link, and Zero Suit Samus all look really cool. I love how detailed Samus and Link look.
And I'm just gonna say, thank goodness names weren't used for those Pokémon figures. We don't need that whole disaster again.
@ThomasBW84 No news of any of these coming west to North America yet right?
I like the Zelda and would love to see the actual Metaknight Nendo.
Oh Jesus that Link figure. I got the 40 quid from Good Smile (You know the one) and I thought that was cool. Though it looks like that new one doesn't have adjustable joints. That Mew though. So cute.
Samus looks incredible but I can't justify the price of these things.
There's a few other figures that were featured at wonfes as well not shown here for those interested.
I'm definitely getting that Zelda, as I already have the Toon Link one. Those Pokemon ones look neat, but if they become as expensive as the modern Red Nendoroid, i'll pass.
Hey, look! Those are Gary and Ash!

@WillTheLion
When they'll become available you'll be able to purchase them from the goodsmile company store (http://goodsmileshop.com/en/). It ships to many countries.
Of course the pokemon trainer nendoroids may be exclusive to pokemon centers.
"I'm not going to buy any more Figma."
Sees ZSS
"God damn it."
Trainers: very in-game sprite-ish. Tempting
Toon Zelda: Yes please!
Link: Is that a statue? It's a statue isn't it.
ZS Samus? Yes please! (does her face look off? Like they're trying too hard to be real life?)
Whozat? I don't know my FE
Metaknight: Yes please!
Oh boy, after transforming into a child again when my Kirby arrived, that Metaknight is an assured buy. It's way too cute to let it go.
Wind Waker Zelda? TAKE MY MONEY AND MY CHILDREN.
Say, isn't that Ash and Gary?
you forgot to mention the Twilight Princess Link Figma!
@able_to_think
Dude, I feel your pain all to well...
There's also a Link Majoras mask one coming and it has Bunny Hood link!
Oh wow, I don't have a Figma figure but that Zero Suit Samus is great. However, my pick of the bunch would be Rash and Glue.
