Yeah, and then they complain about it not being suitable for their kid despite the massive 18 on the cover. Which is just there for decoration I am sure.
They are all ugly. Voted Japan cause at least that one shows both playable characters, and some of the enemies
The usa cover is just a crop of the Japanese cover, and loses everything that makes that one half way decent While the European one is just stiff and not particularly memorable.
Like i said : just something to boast over and sell on later on. It's a collectors thing Like having Action 1 or Detective 27, it's not something to read but to have to boast about and be a centerpiece.
The only thing E3 has been for the past few years is unsubstantiated hype and trailers and announcements for announcements for games 3 years in the future.
The hardware mostly and the "history" But mostly its a unique piece of hardware like the Sega Neptune, that's just something to have and boast about and sell on again.
While I don't totally agree with you ( i cant stand animal crossing too much grinding ) You have some good points. Great games don't have to look super realistic for example.
And the amount of games the NX has is extremely impressive. It's better off then the Wii U ever was.
There is stil much to improve with the machine but so far it's also doing a lot right.
Don't worry I can't really get in to it either. I am now in open world Hyrule and my most immediate reaction is "eh whatever." Haven't played the game in months, it doesn't grab me like oot and Majora did.
I actually occasionally use the damn things. i found 80 new old stock of them at a thriftstore and I got several computers that stil use floppies. Including 2 floppy only Macs, so...

Re: Westwood's Classic Blade Runner Is Getting An Enhanced Edition On Switch
@nessisonett
I've had the pc versions for years now.
Stil never got round to playing it.
Re: Random: Husband Buys 36 amiibo To Jokingly Spite Isabelle-Hating Wife At Christmas
@Mountain_Man
Isn't a gross 144 ?
And a dozen for 12 ?
Re: Westwood's Classic Blade Runner Is Getting An Enhanced Edition On Switch
Maybe Snatcher wil one day actually happen at this rate.
Re: Random: Husband Buys 36 amiibo To Jokingly Spite Isabelle-Hating Wife At Christmas
@Savino
More then one.
Bulk usually means 10-12 or more.
Stores don't order 1 by 1, they order in bulk.
Re: Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries Of New York Sinks Its Teeth Into Switch This Month
@Bizzyb
Doubt there wil be a Bloodlines port.
The game is 16 years old, it would have happened by now.
Bloodlines 2 however.
Re: Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries Of New York Sinks Its Teeth Into Switch This Month
@SwitchForce
It's a decent game, but the endgame comes out of nowhere and feels really half baked.
The game just kinda ends.
Re: This Portable Nintendo 64 Is The Stuff Of Dreams
@fafonio
Yeah they should have released aN64 mini in 2018 already.
It's like Nintendo stops giving a toss when its not NES or SNES anymore.
Re: This Portable Nintendo 64 Is The Stuff Of Dreams
Thought Benheck did this years ago already.
Re: Hell Yes! Doom 64's Re-Release Includes An Entirely New Chapter
@SSGodLink
Excellent.
Even more reason to buy it now.
Re: Hell Yes! Doom 64's Re-Release Includes An Entirely New Chapter
@OorWullie
I played it before
Its pretty bloody dark, as in ramp up the brightness or you cant see shizz, dark.
Re: Hell Yes! Doom 64's Re-Release Includes An Entirely New Chapter
Excited is a big word, but at that price I can't leave it on the table so to speak.
Re: New Pokémon Art Collaboration Offers Up Generous Helpings Of Nightmare Fuel
I consider the grinding in the games enough nightmare fuel as it is.
Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Fighting Games
With the Street Fighter collection alone you got 12 games
how many more do you need ?
Re: Random: Someone's Selling Bars Of Soap That Resemble Super Smash Bros. Characters

So no bayonet soap then ?
Re: UK Charts: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Goes Straight To Number One

Or packed with the console.

Yeah, and then they complain about it not being suitable for their kid despite the massive 18 on the cover.
Which is just there for decoration I am sure.
Re: UK Charts: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Goes Straight To Number One
@Optimumjay
It sold 120 million units and is the third best selling game ever.
It needs to be on top ?
Re: Random: Someone's Selling Bars Of Soap That Resemble Super Smash Bros. Characters
Well that's just smashing.
Re: UK Charts: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Goes Straight To Number One
@kopaka
No doubt lots of kids who still don't have it but want it.

It's 11 in the morning here.
I think i'll stick with tea.

Re: Review: Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] - One Of The Slickest And Most Accessible Fighters Ever Made
@AnnoyingFrenzy
Pretty much yes.
Japanes companies have a tendency to just grab random words, they think that sound cool.
Think of the street fighter titles or the more and more ridicilous kingdom hearts titles.
Re: Review: Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] - One Of The Slickest And Most Accessible Fighters Ever Made
@JayJ
Agreed, the title is complete and utter garbage.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 7th)
@NintendoByNature
I actually don't like coffee very much but if you are offering, milk and 72 sugars plox.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 7th)
@OorWullie
I find that i want to finish a game as much as possible. So I can't really "afford" to sink 500 hours in an open world game.
I have way too many games and an immense backlog ( 1012 games on Steam alone ) and I would like to be able to play a good chunk of those.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 7th)
@NintendoByNature
Damn I thought that said dark STALKERS 2* not siders.
( Nightwarriors in other words.)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 7th)
@OorWullie
Thats a part of why I have gone off open world games.
So much to do where the hell do I even start ?
Botw kinda lost me because it opened up so much i prefer my Zelda's linear.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 7th)
@Anti-Matter
That's a really random set of games there.
Ivé been playing Majora's Masl on my 2DS
and several pc games.

Re: PC Engine Mini Production And Shipment Delayed Indefinitely By Coronavirus
@Gwynbleidd
But I son;t want the original gear
I just want an official way to play, all these games in one spot with out paying an arm and a leg for them.
Because whether you agree or not, this machine is far cheaper then buying an actual PC Engine and all 58 games seperate.
Re: PC Engine Mini Production And Shipment Impacted By Coronavirus
@Gwynbleidd
It's cheaper then an actual PC Engine and all the games included.
Re: PC Engine Mini Production And Shipment Impacted By Coronavirus
@jobvd
Probably right
its almost entirely unknown, outside Japan.
Re: PC Engine Mini Production And Shipment Impacted By Coronavirus
I stil plan to get one but later from the sound of it and early pre orders should get dibs.
Re: Prinny 1•2: Exploded and Reloaded Brings Two PSP Disgaea Spin-Offs To Switch This Fall
@RupeeClock
I wanna be the dead ?
( dood is dutch for dead. Considering how hard these games are, I wouldn't be surprised if that was intentional.)

Funny how that works.

Re: Hideki Kamiya Would Love To Release Viewtiful Joe 3 And "Finish That Trilogy"
By all means let him.
I have zero interest in Vietifull Joe but the entire trilogy on the NX would be great regardless for any fan of the series.
Re: Mario Is Number One In This Poll About Most Wanted Live-Action Video Game Movies
@JR150
Fortnite could also work.
Re: Mario Is Number One In This Poll About Most Wanted Live-Action Video Game Movies
@Trajan
First time they tried that it nearly bankrupted Square.
Re: Mario Is Number One In This Poll About Most Wanted Live-Action Video Game Movies
@Alpha008
Something like the fast and the furious series ?
Personally I'd rather see a Zelda animated movie.
and GTA is more like watching Goodfellas really.
Re: Admit It, You Want This Lovely Walnut Switch Carry Case Just As Much As We Do
It looks okay but I don't really go outside with my NX.
I got a 2DS for that.
I'm more interested in wondering what that drink is.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #32 - Sonic The Hedgehog
Never liked the Japanese versions
It's too busy and chaotic , no design just sanic and some random background artifacts.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 29th)

Ah, well it's a shame you it didn't live up to your expectations.
You seemed hyped for it.
But i suppose they can't be all winners.

That does look pretty cool actually.
