Graphics in the end don't matter though its the gameplay that does.
And in most cases of the retro games, their gameplay doesn't hold up anymore.

Honestly if i want pixel graphics, I just fire up the original not faux retro.

To me nostalgia is best when it's something half remembered you haven't seen or touched in 20 years.
Cause generally nostalgia doesn't hold up when you play the real thing.
9 times out of 10 it's not as good as you remember.

Kinda falls flat though, when you consider that the Master system Megadrive, SNES and N64 all were toploaders and had zero problems.

CD projekt RED is one of the few major developers and publishers that actually gives a damn about it's customers.

Not everybody has the like the same thing. This is a childrens movie first and foremost.

Cube version is a glitch fest.

That is usually why I wait for sales.
It launched with a discount but I stil got burned
At first i figured it had a learning curve, but no the game is just crap.

If the controls weren't so touchy and if the car didn't spin out of control if you breathed on it, I could deal with the slipshod AI and glitches
But alas it is pretty much garbage.

...so the pricetag and release date then ?
You know actual SUBSTANTIAL information ?

Which is quite a feat when you consider all their success is mostly based on the Witcher 3.
Here is hoping they can diversify cause there are people ( like me ) who aren't interested in The Witcher.

Wreckout is a bit on the hard side, but somehow also absolutely hilarious with how the AI goes all out, and how in most races only a few survivors limp to the finish.

The controls are so twitchy, the slightest bump sends you careening in to a spin or in to the side of a track.

And the AI veers between EXTERMINATE and inept. Because the track is often littered with cars either spinning out or smashed in to each other in a pile or bumping in the sides of the tracks.

It would be hilarious, if I didn't pay 7 bucks for it.

Hell even the Saturn port plays better then this.
It might look like dog vomit, but at least it plays great.

They are all horrible.
Voted for the PAL cover mostly because the art is front and centre without a weird grid behind it.

Regretted it 5 min later.
Calling it a Daytona clone is an insult to Daytona USA.

Exactly couldn't agree more.

But sanic is the easy choice cause its been ported so often already, so another port is easy and sanic is a known quantity.
( Not at all to do with the fact, that Sega ignores
most of their IP's )

I like physical but honestly for the NX I am moving more and more towards digital only.
