Re: Controversial "Adults Only" Murder Simulator Hatred Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

@AtlanteanMan

There never was a "seal of quality" it was just there to show that Nintendo approved it to be released on the NES not the actual quality of the game it self.

The NES has an enormous amount of garbage games
as does the SNES and Wii.

And more choice is always better then little to no choice.
While the E-shop could do with abetter interface.
i'd rather have an ungodly amount of games, then just a handfull of the same old usual suspects.
After all who knows what you can find in there ?

Another bunch of ugly covers.
Torn between the pal and USA versions.
I like the clean austerity of the black border of the pal version, but the colors are so muted

Neither of them are a horrible cluttered barf-ball of a mess the Japanese version is though

Next time could we get a NES or SNES or maybe even a GBA orDS title comparison ?

Nah, this isn't the first time I played FF7.
And I have a tendency to lose interest or to get bored with really long games and drop them for years at a time.

i last played Dark Souls 2 in 2018 and I was close to the endgame.
And I am in the endgame of FF4 but dropped it 3 years ago

I wil go back ..eventually.

For me it was the other way around of the ps1 trilogy, I always liked Nemesis the least.
So I was surprised that i like REmake 3 as much as I do.
PS1 Resident Evil 2 was always my favorite. ( To the point that I had it on 3 different platforms and played it back, to back to back, to back to back, several times to unlock everything. )

Remake 2 is a great game, but for me it has a huge dead space in the form of the sewer and the scavenger hunt.
For me that's such a tedious boring, over long section of the game.
It just stops the game cold for me.

To the point I have to force myself to slog through it.
As a result I played REmake 2 a lot less then 3.

It should be obvious that I like it ^.~
The game is short ( my shortest run time is about 86 minutes )
But that's also kind of its biggest strength.
Because its short you can replay it again and again and again and try different strategies.
Or a "clean run" ( no deaths no saves)
Or a "rambo" run ( the game lets you purchase infinite weapons and augmentation coins, that increase you defense, damage out put and regenerate your health.)

There are no puzzles as such. It's more streamlined and action orientated.
But there are quite a lot of unloackables, including 2 extra difficulty modes ( nightmare and inferno )
You also get an entire separate online game .
