Imma be honest I didn’t even read the article I just like that the name is a Lana Del Rey reference

Is it even pay-to-win? I have been playing it since the day after it came out. Haven’t paid a cent and don’t feel as though I have to. You could pay to get Pokémon or items even though they give you plenty if you play every day. You could pay for cosmetics if that matters though. I’m personally satisfied with the amount of free content in the game.

I don’t really see it. Halo is literally the reason that Xbox exists. I don’t see it ending up in smash any time soon.

I’m most interested in advanced wars and Mario superstars. I think it was an odd(but well done) choice to make the game with ‘realistic’ combat into a cutesy art style

@KateGray never seen anyone else that liked fantasy life as much as I did. I’m glad someone else appreciates that masterpiece.

I play D&D with friends pretty frequently mostly because not many of them have the same console. It’s easiest to play games on a phone or D&D because everyone has a smartphone nowadays and an imagination in some capacity. I would love to play switch games with friends but not many of them have switches.

That game is called The Darkest Faerie and it’s really fun! The PS2 graphics give it a lot of charm but an HD remake would be really neat too.

Ok but it would be really hype if they were to make a Darkest Faerie HD remake on switch

His voice always kinda got on my nerves. I’m sure it’s a producer’s fault and not his but maybe we can have a more assertive voice actor.

I’ve been reading Nintendo life for almost 5 years now and I don’t remember as many blunt comments regarding the quality of the articles. I guess the community has changed for this site.

@Not_Soos I understand and respect you. I was not intending to box together a “paper Mario community.” I was intending to say that reviews seem very mixed and that I was happy I didn’t pick any of the games. In hindsight, the word “community” was the wrong word. “Garnered an interest in the franchise” would have been more accurate. Sorry for the lack of clarity on my part.

But you are 100% correct. Even the most toxic communities have niches of kind people and generally mellow communities have their vocal complainers.

I’ve not played it and now I’m glad I’ve not tipped my toe in the water. This comment section is proof that he Paper Mario community is not for me.

Tbh I haven’t really had any problems except for my switch getting really hot.

@Medic_Alert Yes. Yes it is. I don’t think anyone cares about the stationary (or the envelope tbh). The real reason people want it is the wax stamp.

I can’t imagine anyone actually wearing these. The button-down shirts had an eclectic Gucci-ish look that I could see someone pulling off but these are too minimal.

Can we get the Sims 4 (or 5 when it inevitably comes out) on the switch please? I really think that the switch is perfect for the sims.

Saving money and being environmentally friendly typically do not connect very well. I’m curious how this kids game handles it or if through actual environmental protection out the window

@JimmySpades for some people (including me) multiple consoles is more expensive than they can afford. For those that can afford multiple consoles, go ahead! Grab them all! I am sticking with Nintendo consoles and handhelds until I can get my mitts on more cash as I prefer Nintendo IPs (smash, animal crossing, etc) over Xbox or PS IPs.

I’m so glad you can finally get a closer look at paintings. Sometimes the angle of the camera would make it really hard to tell the legitimacy of a painting in new leaf

I’m just so happy where it is possible for many people to work from home and socialize with technology. We have it so good compared to pandemics of the past!

I’m going to take a different stance here: time traveling is not cheating. It is an easy change in settings and the devs no doubt know that time travel would happen. The devs could have put in a way to stop time travel but they did not. However, it is still an exploit that messes with the pacing of the game. I do not time travel because I like the way the game is paced but I understand people that like playing games at a faster pace and speed up time to do this.

I wish that tortimer’s island will return even if it only consists of the games. Those games were really fun and gave me things to do with friends in animal crossing.

@KatiaManagan considering animal crossing’s booming popularity, animal crossing articles are going to get the most clicks. On this add-supported site, clicks are livelihood so I wouldn’t expect much general nintendo news that doesn’t have anything to do with animal crossing i the near future.

You have to remember this is a chameleon and a beaver we are talking about... ew. Romantic relationships have thus far only been between animals of the same species (except Lottie and Digby but that wasn’t anything more than a crush).

@FantasiaWHT If you have your Nintendo switch online app connected to your switch account, you can use your phone camera to scan in designs. You can even scan in designs from new leaf or happy home designer provided the QR codes have not expired

Unpopular opinion: I don’t really like this game. To be fair, I’ve never really liked strategy games and I’ve never really liked fire emblem in general.
