Games like Bloodstained and Yokee Layle are spiritual successors. I feel like I'm beating a dead horse with this so I'll just say that once again, Gunslugs 2 feels like a downgraded copy of Broforce. I enjoyed having this discussion with both you and @Mookums

While it is always impressive when games are made by one person, the comparisons to Broforce are clear as day. Before I delve into why, let me state that Broforce began development at a 2012 Game Jam, well before Gunslugs 2 showed a trailer.

The comparisons to Broforce can be made when noticing how Gunslugs 2 has spoofs of action heroes (which has admittedly been done before). However, these heroes are obtained in cages in enemy bases. Additionally, the heroes and weapons able to be used in the game are the same as the ones in Broforce. Worst of all, is how Gunslugs 2 removes destructible environments.

Gunslugs 2 is a downgraded copy of Broforce and adds nothing to the formula of which it copies.

Toby Fox said that Undertale was inspired by Earthbound. He adds in new elements while keeping some factors from his stated inspiration.

Gunslugs 2 has not stated its inspired by anything, but is easily comparable to better games such as Broforce that came before it. In fact, its a downgrade from games like Broforce.

Undertale has little to nothing to do with the comparison of Gunslugs 2 to Broforce. It is inspired by something. It doesn't copy a formula of another game and downgrade it in the process.

Gunslugs 2 released in October and Broforce released in April. They both released in the year 2015. Broforce began development in 2012. I don't know when Gunslugs 2 began development, however...

I do admit that games should not normally be compared to each other if you enjoy them. But, since I played Broforce first and have yet to be proven wrong about it being developed later than GunSlugs 2, Gunslugs 2 feels like a stripped down rip off of Broforce.

Somewhat agreed, but I still had hindered enjoyment with Gunslugs 2 because I kept realizing/thinking that. I just wish the game had more to offer as I can see the potential it had to be better.

They should port it to a 3ds or WiiU.

I love how the first video completely glossed over the Nintendo Eshop.

The gameplay looks unique and interesting and the voice actors pique my interest further. However, the game looks terrible. Still might get it if it comes to NA.

Despite the score, this game still manages to capture my interest.

I wanna see FFXV on the NX.

It looks...unique. I guess.

NO MAN'S SKY!!!

After playing a bit of Blast Ball, I retract some of the initial hate I had for this game. With the trailers shown, I am especially interested in the sections where you eject from the mech-suit.

I believe it should be put on the 3DS for a chance at a descent profit plus the ability to have people play it on the go. The NX is a give-in for having it as its a new console. The WiiU is a maybe as it would give a mild profit with the small amount of units sold. I think it could be added to the WiiU if its put on the 3DS. Its been done with Revelations and MH3U. I hope it gets ported to at least one console.

So we have both a highly powerful portable and a slightly underpowered home console. I'm both excited and disappointed at the same time.

Wonder how you get the Master Ball.

I'm downloading it now with a skeptical attitude.

I can understand why Nintendo would make marketing towards kids, but can we get something for the teen-adult demographic?

The best part is he brought in the fact that he wasn't a white Australian and therefore must make the situation about racism. Even better is the fact that he wanted others to make amends for HIS actions. Ha.

Capcom is certainly holding up to the meaning of "Generations" in the title of this game.

Please don't let that Kemco RPG come to NA as the only 3DS game available for download this week (not including retail games).

I hate it when games, media, and heck, even parents reward their kid after they fail at something. If they fail, they should have to earn the satisfaction of winning and not be given it.

Dragon's Dogma Online!? That was announced a while ago. When's it coming to North America! Arghhhhhhh!

I find this highly stupid. All games have similarities. For God's sake just look at all the Minecraft clones on 3DS and WiiU. I hope this situation comes to a conclusion where your game remains (or returns if it has already been removed) on the Eshop. Best of luck!

I don't get how the art-style is appealing. It looks stylistically cartoonish yes, but looks really outdated graphics wise as well.

I understand that some may want to have a different art-style to represent a step into new console territory, but the pixelated art-style has been a mainstay of the series since the first entry. Either way, we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out in the end.

I hope Wayforward publishes the game itself, not XSeed. I'll be fine if XSeed exclusively handles distributing physical copies as mentioned.

Can't wait to get this! I enjoyed the original, despite its obvious flaws.

I pretty much have all of these except for Mega Man Collection and MH3U.
