Following last week's European announcement, distributor Five Star Games has confirmed the SEGA 3D Classics Collection will also be released in Australia on 4th November.
This is a chance for SEGA fans and 3DS owners down under to finally get their hands on the entire collection of remastered classics in a single transaction.
A total of nine games (including one hidden extra) are included in the package, with Maze Walker and Power Drift making their Australian 3DS debuts.
- Fantasy Zone II W
- Sonic The Hedgehog
- Thunder Blade
- Galaxy Force II
- Altered Beast
- Power Drift
- Puyo Puyo 2
- Fantasy Zone II
- Maze Walker
As previously noted, the physical release of the collection is wrapped in a beautifully designed package, courtesy of Pokemon Art Director, Ken Sugimari.

I wish SEGA would bloody restock Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX.
@sillygostly You can import a copy for about 78 AUD (plus customs) from amazon.de.
@sillygostly
Funny enough. In my country (Surabaya), there is a shop (my local game store) that still have 2 copies of Project Mirai DX, complete with the merchandise. And it cost IDR 450,000 each or equal with US$ 34. Cheap enough and still not being buyed for 1 year.
You're better off getting the Sega bundle on Steam. Not only is it cheaper and not region locked but it's not compromised to 3DS hardware.
@AlphaJaguar There are people who prefer handheld gaming. The games included in this bundle are also completely remade into 3D, which you don't get on Steam as well.
@scamander As a New 3DS owner, I understand that entirely. Thing is, this package is over-priced for what it's worth. Besides, in Japan, there's a part two of the Sega 3D Classics Collection with more games bundled and a dual bundle of Sega 3D Classics Part 1 and Part 2. I understand that the 3D is the novelty of the package but a lot (not all) of the 3DS users use the 3D feature in the first place.
What's the online feature for the game?
@sillygostly Rice Digital have physical copies, which is the only website I could find that had it in stock. Including postage, AUS $50 http://www.ricedigital.co.uk/store/hatsune-miku-project-mirai-remix-3ds
@scamander I like how they had to move one of the characters on the box because of that massive German Age rating. Why German doesn't use PEGI like the rest of the European countries.
Thanks Nintendolife i was pestering EB and Nintendo trying to find a release date.
No Ecco, No Streets of Rage, No Toejam and Earl 1 and 2, no buy.
I already own Galaxy Force and Sonic 1 but the rest are new so this might be a buy for me.
Shame Toejam & Earl hasn't been released in Australia at all. I guess I'll add it to the list alongside Smile Basic, Binding Of Issac 3DS, Shantae 2, etc...
