Re: Sony: Please Be Nice to 3D Glasses, Nintendo

Ian_Daemon

3D with glasses really limits the audience. Just think of the human beings all over the world that already wear eyeglasses, those that are color-blind, those with only partial 3D vision, those with zero 3D vision, etc.

Face it Sony, 3D is a fad. It also has been. It's nothing new. It's like "jelly shoes", "slap bracelets", and "POGs".

This actually looks like it's in the same vein as "Chip's Challenge" for the PC. (early 90's Windows game)

@slapshot:
The Wii plays previous generations' games with their release environment. Some Wii games let players use the GameCube controller. Your point is? The 3DS is just a new platform that doesn't force some things. (It's cool of Nintendo to think of players with lesser vision.)

Re: Interviews: High Voltage Software - Conduit 2

I really dug The Conduit and am anxiously awaiting Conduit 2. I'm definitely buying day one. The first game was a bit generic and minimal in terms of story, but the FPS groundwork is solid and impressive. The Conduit was great where it counted: physically playing the game. The controls were good, the visuals were nice, the GUI was impressive, and the game was fun to play! (and who can complain about Kevin Sorbo & Mark A. Sheppard?)

There's no reason to believe that Conduit 2 won't take that solid groundwork and deliver a kick-butt game!

Does the enemy react to how they're attacked? (i.e. can you cut an arm off in a fight or is every attack a body blow? If every attack is the same, this seems like a waste of the MotionPlus' fidelity.)
