3D with glasses really limits the audience. Just think of the human beings all over the world that already wear eyeglasses, those that are color-blind, those with only partial 3D vision, those with zero 3D vision, etc.
Face it Sony, 3D is a fad. It also has been. It's nothing new. It's like "jelly shoes", "slap bracelets", and "POGs".
@slapshot: The Wii plays previous generations' games with their release environment. Some Wii games let players use the GameCube controller. Your point is? The 3DS is just a new platform that doesn't force some things. (It's cool of Nintendo to think of players with lesser vision.)
I really dug The Conduit and am anxiously awaiting Conduit 2. I'm definitely buying day one. The first game was a bit generic and minimal in terms of story, but the FPS groundwork is solid and impressive. The Conduit was great where it counted: physically playing the game. The controls were good, the visuals were nice, the GUI was impressive, and the game was fun to play! (and who can complain about Kevin Sorbo & Mark A. Sheppard?)
There's no reason to believe that Conduit 2 won't take that solid groundwork and deliver a kick-butt game!
Hopefully the new WayForward "Batman" game will be better than "A Boy and His Blob". The latter went from ridiculously easy to near-impossible only for the boss fights. Balancing anyone?
Does the enemy react to how they're attacked? (i.e. can you cut an arm off in a fight or is every attack a body blow? If every attack is the same, this seems like a waste of the MotionPlus' fidelity.)
Two games that I only tried because to the demos are the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A Darklord and Pokemon Rumble.games. They really surprised me with being...fun. Different than I'm used to, but fun.

Re: New Metroid: Other M Footage Looks Intense
The gameplay shown at E3 was decidedly "meh", but this actually looks interesting now! (second video only)
Re: 1 in 10 People Can't See 3D Properly
@18: You can only do so much with prescription eyeglasses.
@16: I don't think Sony cares. They'll just wait and copy something that Nintendo has already proven works.
Re: Nintendo Download: 12th July (North America)
So, "virtual console" articles (accessed the "virtual console" tab) now include WiiWare and DSiWare news?

Re: Street Fighter II Designer Bringing Earth Seekers to Wii
Bring it.
Re: Voodoo Dice
This actually looks like it's in the same vein as "Chip's Challenge" for the PC. (early 90's Windows game)
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the Second Highest Rated Game Ever
@ warioswoods (45):
"Sound logic, false premise."
Faulty logic, false premise.
Re: Renegade Kid Excited by 3DS's Potential for Original Games
"Watsham makes a good but, although this..."
Um, ok?
Re: Conduit 2 to Big Up Offline Multiplayer with Four-Player Splitscreen
I thought the The Conduit was pretty good. Generic and simple, but controlled well. I was looking forward to the sequel as soon as I heard about it.
Re: These Pearl Harbor Paper Planes are Confusingly Cute
1500pts? There is no way I'd pay that for a WiiWare game.
Re: Red Steel 2 Met Ubi's Sales Expectations
I still have to pick up RS2.
Re: Scribblenauts Sequel is Officially Super
@Mik: "How can something be both new and improved?!"
I must not understand.
Re: Hudson Enlightens Us with Lost In Shadow Teaser
This has the potential to be very good. And very bland. Let's hope for the best and expect the worst.
Re: Mark Ronson Mixes Legend of Zelda with New Video
Yeah, that's more of an homage to the original "Zelda" game than anything...

Re: Swords Announced, Supports MotionPlus, Content Remains a Mystery
"...With two-player split-screen confirmed it looks like this might be worth a punt when it arrives in September this year...."
Did you mean "worth a pint"? I have no idea what "worth a punt" means. Is that British slang?
Re: Lifting the Bonnet on TrackMania's Track Editor
TrackMania was really cool on the PC. I never played the DS outing, but the Wii version looks like spectacular fun!
(and Rush 2049 was one of the best racing games of all time)
Re: Teyon Releases Teaser for Heavy Fire: Special Operations
Rail shooters = fun replay.
Re: First Look: Pearl Harbor Trilogy - 1941: Red Sun Rising
Does anyone know the controls used? (i.e. wiimote, nunchuk, classic controller, or gamecube controller)
Re: American Wii Owners Can Stream Netflix Now
Every time I have the option of subtitles, I turn it on. (It's really useful for noisy backgrounds, sound effects, etc.)

Re: The Conduit 2 Revealed in May Nintendo Power
Yes! The Conduit is a great FPS. If HVS improves on it, The Conduit 2 will be stellar. Online AND local multiplayer? Yes please!
Re: Might The Next Zelda Sense Your Vitality?
I DO NOT want that "Vitality Sensor" in the next Zelda.
Re: Warner Bros. Interactive Announces New Batman Game for Wii and DS
Hopefully the new WayForward "Batman" game will be better than "A Boy and His Blob". The latter went from ridiculously easy to near-impossible only for the boss fights. Balancing anyone?
Re: Sony: Publishers Pulling Resources From Wii Development
How is third parties sales Nintendo's issue? How can one company blame their success/failure solely on another company?
Third parties need to step up. Don't just make pretty looking crap. "Ooh, the turd isn't selling, let's bedazzle it!"
"Zack & Wiki" is/was awesome!
Re: Nintendo Power Unwittingly Reveals Wii 2
Doesn't anyone do quality control anymore? It's no wonder that print media is dying; it's being killed by the people that produce print media.

@ninjamariopimp: Love the Z&W avatar!
Re: Far Cry: Vengeance
Other than being graphically downgraded, is this Wii game any different than the PC original?

Re: AiRace: Tunnel coming to DSiWare next week
This isn't bad considering you could have been playing a very similar game for years as a free online flash game ( http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/games/missilegame3d )
Re: Luigi's Mansion to Get Sequel?
Please make it a sequel! The wiimote would offer an awesome control scheme!
Re: WiiWare Devs Call for More Advertising From Nintendo
"However, how many continue to frequent those stores?"
WE do actually. This is sorta "preaching to the choir", but honest in its intent..
Re: Interview: Climax - Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
This actually makes me want to go buy it...
Re: Review: Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
Wow, I remember buying Shadow Dancer new from a local toy store. I played that Genesis cart to death. (Its death, not mine.)

What part of this says Wii or Nintendo?
Re: UK Theme Park Getting Sonic-Branded Ride
@Stargazer: Hey, I liked Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast.
Re: New Zelda for Wii confirmed for release in 2010
It'll most likely be an early 2011 release. (or "Q4 2010" for Nintendo)
