@ pawtrick: I'm under the impression that they're bringing the original MP2 deathmatch mode. That's the biggest reason I'm looking forward to "Trilogy". MP2 deathmatch with MP3 controls! Yay!
Nintendo needs FRESH BLOOD on stage. The entire NoA staff can stay home. Please, stay home. That goes for that translator-guy "Bill Trinnen" or whatever his name is. No one from NoA (Nintendo of America) seems at all interested in games. They're in it for the "business" side of things. Miyamoto and Iwata at least try to convey a general excitement about games and gaming.
"Minus button = Cycles through your unlocked combo spells [this is the only button mapping that we don't like since the Minus button is so small, but there's no choice]"
Why not use the B button instead? It's bigger and easier to press quickly.
Both ColorZ and I-Fluid look really cool. My PC isn't beefy enough to play the I-Fluid demo, but I'll be sure to check out ColorZ when it hits WiiWare!
Red Steel 2 looks like it can be very fun with Wii MotionPlus (WM+), I just hope that the 1:1 accuracy is there and the tracking is fast enough.
I have the Tiger Woods 2010 golf game with WM+ and I know that the accuracy CAN be there, it's just from the E3 video above it looks as if the Red Steel team has some work to do...
@Jimbub: The Wii is already (100%?) compatible with GC games. You'll never see them on the V.C. Just go and buy the GC game you want at the store and play it on your Wii.
Where is the general clamor for "Zombies Ate My Neighbors"? Did people forget? It's on only a few lists... I guess the clamor came from the "vocal minority".
While ZAMN isn't Nintendo-only, I'd definitely put it in the "Nintendo Classic" category. It's a classic and on a Nintendo console. (i.e. "Pac-Man" is an Arcade classic.)
I play The Conduit often. It's fun and the controls are done well. It's not perfect, but it's a SOLID FPS entry on the Wii. I've beaten the single-player campaign and there is so much story contained in the radio transmissions and the hidden graffiti that you uncover. It's easy to miss this stuff as it's not in-your-face or spoon-fed like most game content has become.
I'd give the single player adventure a 7. It you dig the online multiplayer (which I certainly do), I'd say this is an 8.
Nice review, you sound really excited. Why on earth did this get a score of nine and not a ten? In reading the review you have nothing bad to say about ''Wi Sports Resort' except that each individual sport could be fleshed out by a stand-alone game... (and that's not really bad)
(1) Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is a good game. I'm glad I bought it. (However, it IS repetitive repetitive repetitive and simplistic) The art style is cool.
(2) I heard that it was easy, so I immediately started playing on the "hard" difficulty and I've had fun ever since. I have no idea how I gain and lose power-ups, but it doesn't seem to matter at this point.
(3) Is anyone else experiencing audio problems/issues? The game audio is still there, but there's this metallic-grating noise and static sound over it...

The gameplay looks similar to Gunstar Heroes. I'm definitely getting this. Eduardo the Samurai Toaster looks like "fun on a bun"! (Futurama quote, no pun intended.)
I pre-ordered The Conduit and I hope that the single player mode is decent. (Of course the multiplayer [online deathmatch] is almost worth the purchase price alone.)
Didn't I read a description of the revealed concept art as "...Link barely visible behind a broken wall..." he's hardly obscured. And weren't we supposed to see a more mature Link? That looks like the Twilight Princess character to me.

Good for Europe!

Re: Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
The player seems to be much more agile in Super ESB than Super Star Wars.
Re: Wii Sports Resort Already Sold Over 500K Units In North America
"...Hopefully Nintendo will use the wii motion plus in more of their games..."
Agreed.
"..Grand Slam Tennis and Tiger Woods Golf are good signs..."
Agreed again!
Re: DSi Firmware 1.4 Defeated Already?
@ Firkraag: There are so many things wrong with your logic...I don't know where to start.
Re: Wii Sports Resort Already Sold Over 500K Units In North America
The 32X was kick-booty for all seven of us that bought it...
Oh and Wii Sports Resort is frickin' awesome.
Re: Wii Sales Starting to Crash?
Yes, advertise Wii games! (and non-traditionally too)

"...and their popularity doesn't remove the hardware limitations."
Did I miss something? Was that EVER true?
@ Jon (#90):
Have you seen SBCG4AP? The Brothers Chap's Flash stuff looks incredible compared to TellTale's WiiWare games.
@ i8cookie (#8):
Thank you for not saying it was a "mute point"! Far too few people that know how to speak properly.
Re: Interviews: Driift Mania - Konami
Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's Off-Road was a fun four-player arcade classic.
Re: Red Steel 2 Delayed Until 2010
I'm a funny guy. At least that's what I keep telling myself.
Re: Red Steel 2 Delayed Until 2010
"We'll keep you posed on any new developments"
Yes, please keep us posed.
Re: Nicalis and Nigoro Join Forces
With Nicalis involved, will La Mulana ever see the light of day?

Re: ColorZ
From the video, this looks interesting...and possibly very tricky. I'm game!

Re: Interviews: Super Meat Boy - Team Meat
Those "team meat" guys sound like jerks. I'm not giving them MY money...
Re: Super Meat Boy Creators Hosting Live Q & A Today
I'd like a level editor too, of course...only if the game is good first. I'd rather have tons of "replay-ability" than DLC and level editors.
Re: Carnival King
This looks like fun!
Re: Carnival King Coming to WiiWare
This looks fun...
Re: New Furry Legends Gameplay Trailer
OK, so it looks like Niki "Rock'n'Ball" played in "LostWinds" levels. That's exactly what I said when the screenshots first surfaced...
Re: Shia LaBeouf Disses the Wii
The kid is an a**. He said some really dumb things recently. Wait...no, he's always said dumb things.
Re: Conduit Release Date Slips in EU
"I heard it's so they can replace all the blood with jello, and aliens with fluffy bunnies."
@ sirgrim: I'd love that as an "easter egg" or an unlock!

Re: Nintendo Download: Toasters, Rainbows, Catching, Calculators, Clocks and Harriers (US)
I can't wait to try out "Eduardo"!
Re: New Wii Zelda May Require MotionPlus To Function
I already have the Wii MotionPlus for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 which is fantastic. (Frisbee golf!)
Re: Official Bit Boy!! Game Play Trailer
This is Bplus we're talking about. I'm staying far away... This is probably trying to grab some cash by putting "Bit" in the name.
Re: Wii Sports Resort: now with online features!
I got Wii MotionPlus with the new 2010 "Tiger Woods" golf game here in the U.S.. WM+ can add seriously incredible gameplay...no fanboy hype!

Re: Iwata: Nintendo Will Not Be Standing Still
2009 looks to be very good for Nintendo. Wii MotionPlus is awesome!
Re: Eduardo the Samurai Toaster
Looks like Gunstar Heroes-style gameplay. I LOVE Gunstar Heroes!
I can't wait to get this... Eduardo the Samurai Toaster looks to have frenetic-fun gameplay with a quirky character twist.
Re: Turtles In Time Remake No Longer Coming To WiiWare?
Give us the arcade classic!

Re: Metroid: Other M - Will Samus Get Sexy?
Samus gets sexy? Um, hello...are you forgetting Samus running around in a bikini on the NES?
Re: New Wii Zelda Artwork Leaked?

Re: Oh No, There's a Zombie Panic in Wonderland
This is definitely a third-person perspective game, not first-person as the article mentions.
Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii Only Multiplayer At Home
cop-out, excuse, john, etc.
Re: E3 2009: Wii Vitality Sensor is Revealed
So Nintendo just went to a doctor's office and grabbed a "pulse-reader-thing" and stuck it on their console?
Re: Miyamoto: Why Pikmin 3 Was Absent From E3 This Year
I'd rather see a new Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid anyway...
Re: Metroid: Other M E3 Trailer
This looks more frantic than previous Metroid games, but I'm up for it.
As far as the title goes, I just keep saying "otherem".
