When there's no more water in the well, the dead will walk the Earth
You know what they say: if you can’t beat ‘em, take what they did and put a fresh coat of paint on it. In this case it’s Gevo Entertainment taking on Wii Sports Resort’s sword-fighting modes with a mythical Chinese folklore twist. This is by no means a bad thing...

Nintendo Download 22nd February 2010 (North America)
Ghost slaying, mouse housing, flight controlling and fish finding this week!
North America is clearly the territory to envy thus far this year with weekly updates featuring a variety of downloads for the Wii and DSi. Whilst retro-gamers will bemoan the absence of any Virtual Console releases this time around, there's still a bevy of budget WiiWare...

News GhostSlayer Jumps Out, Goes "Boo"

It's typical, isn't it? You wait months for a first-person, MotionPlus-utilising WiiWare title and then two come along at once. Not long after our hands-on with Rage of the Gladiator, Gevo Entertainment just emailed to let us know about its future WiiWare release GhostSlayer. Like Rage, MotionPlus is optional for...

OMG, this looks like it could potentially be really, really good. Here's hoping it's not gonna be on rails...
Looks decent.
Does the enemy react to how they're attacked? (i.e. can you cut an arm off in a fight or is every attack a body blow? If every attack is the same, this seems like a waste of the MotionPlus' fidelity.)
@ninjamariopimp: Love the Z&W avatar!
Looks pretty good especially for 6 bucks. Wii Ware is actually keeping my faith alive lately. Funny thing is, I bet this game turns out better than the original red steel which we all paid $50 for!
I wonder is it hat the guy wearing or his hairstyle...
or maybe just a hat made of hair.
I'm cynical as I just don't see how a $6 WiiMotionPlus game can turn out to be good. 8-(
That said, I checked my Wii Records today and #5 in hours played at 64 is the $10 Swords & Soldiers so maybe lightning will strike twice? (1 thru 4 were the usual SSBB, Mario Kart, Galaxy, and Zelda:TP)
oh my goodness someone buy this so i can see if i need to look for my motion plus . at least then i will have it handy when red steel 2 comes out.
I made the mistake of buying it without motion plus. I got to level 4, but we'll see. I don't know if this encourages me to get motion plus or not. It seems to me to be a student project or an afterthought of a game design. I would give the game the same score as the level I got to instead of a 6, but maybe I'm just feeling a bit burned.
