Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Had a Strong Start With amiibo, But Evolution's a Priority for 2015

Think these are interesting but would never purchase one for myself as I very rarely play games now - but, if Toad was a playable character in Smash Bros, and his Amiibo still had the captain toad functionality and mariokart costumes, on top of the mario party things - i'd probably buy him just to see what he is like - Maybe if they had one figure that has features in more than 2 games i would buy one.

Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2014 - Summer Edition

I hope Watch Dogs is a better port than AC4. While I prefer Nintendo games, I do like assassins creed, but don't have any other next gen consoles, so I got the one on Wii U. There was two problems with it. 1. The game is rubbish anyway and 2. The Wii U port is awful, frame-rate is worse than on 360/PS3, so an EXTREMELY lazy effort on ubisofts part, seeing as the Wii U has 4 times as much ram as the 360 and 16 times as much as the PS3. Not too much of a let down, because I didn't buy a wii u to play Assassins creed, but still. It would be good if this was 60 fps, which I think it could be, seeing how it looks on PS4 compared to Bayonetta, or HYRULE warriors (which is 30, but there is 100s of characters on screen at one time). So I REALLY hope its good and I hope Nintendolife do an article closer to the time so we know what the improvements are

@JaxonH haha! Maybe it's just me! In all seriousness I think a demo could sway my opinion, but until then, I will see. Although there is a lot of mature games coming out this holiday, Bayonetta, devils third, HYRULE warriors and smash bros, so I think all the lighter games like this and kirby coming out early next year will get young kids enticed with its cool graphics.

Will probs by this, although I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I'm used to playing with the Wiimote, as Brawl was my first SSB, I plan to use NFC figures, without using my gamepad I case I wreck the buttons, and I don't know if I will like this...? Or I could just use my pro controller, and then how will my friends play? Oh god, sweating just thinking about it lol

Re: Nintendo Announces The GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U

IRNBRU115

Is it a software or a hardware issue that means I can't play my GameCube discs on my wii u. Because, if it's a software issue, it can be fixed with a software update and I can play GameCube on my wii u with this bad boy. That aside, an update for mk8 and all sorts of backwards compatibility will be really useful.

Am i honestly the only one that prefers the WiiMote!?!? Like many, Brawl was my first Smash bros game, but like few, i'm still a nintendo fan and have always used the wiimote, despite trying the gamecube controller i bought to play N64 games. Might try gamepad or pro controller (probs pro controller, don't fancy button mashing with gamepad)

Re: Nintendo Hosting Two Big Evening Presentations at E3

I hope this is well listed on their website, because they are having a direct the day before, and this will be during their "constant live-streaming from the back-stage floor" thing, and a SSB tournament or something like that!? Too much going on, I'm too confused!!! I'm worried that I will miss a lot of it!!
