Re: The Nintendo eShop Is Like Paradise, Says Image & Form's Brjann Sigurgeirsson

Although I seem to remember reading that developing for Wii U is harder than developing for say, Xbox one or PS4, purely because they're processor's are similar to the intel ones, commonly used in PC's... But again this is the thing with all closed source computers (As i am a fan of, u might have guessed because i have an I-Pad and a Mac) Open-Source is like a buffet. You may not like everything, or anything, but there is a variety, some of which can give u food poisoning. Whereas with closed source, its like a set-menu and you know what you are going to get.... Which is why I always like apple and Nintendo...

Yeah, the e-shop is so much better quality to the likes of Steam, Mac app store, IOS app store, google play and Playstation store (Vita's is a bit better than PS3's) don't know about the stores on Microsofts consoles and PS4, as I haven't used them, I use all the others often, cuz I have an apple computer, I-pad, android phone, and used to have a vita, and PS3. Although an account system would be nice!!!! Anyway we know for definite that'll happen next-gen. (Because of what Iwata said at that shareholder meeting about making both consoles around the same OS, much like I-Phone/I-Pad.)

Why not bundle a digital copy, like wind waker bundle...? Probably because families may find it confusing, but again, mariokart is probably better to have downloaded than wind wkaer, Becuz it's not like u can complete mariokart, so people are less inclined to trade it in after completing "story" mode.

Re: Poll: Have Your Say on Satoru Iwata's Nintendo Strategies

I had a good idea for a phone app!!! A street pass app which you can use as a go between your 3DS and another persons phone... e.g. you register your 3ds with your phone, your phone takes the data and you can use it just like a 3DS on street pass! So you can share street pass information using just your phone! Although you have to sync it back to your 3DS to reap the rewards.

It should work 3DS to a phone and vice versa... And that will bring users back to intends console!

I think he's a great manager, and I can't imagine Nintendo without him, to me (who only became a Nintendo fan playing wii and DS) he is up there with Yamauchi. I love the Nintendo directs and he directed the Wii and DS, turned the 3DS around and I don't doubt his capacity to do the same with wii u. Despite the fact that the wii u is an a deeper hole than the 3DS ever was. I think the only reason the Wii u isn't selling is because everyone is buying a 3DS! Unless you are like me, who loves local multiplayer, that's why I got it in the first place!

Re: Former Sony Developer Feels The Wii U "Won't See Another Christmas"

Nintendo simply CANT fail. They have the most valuable brands in the industry, mario, pokemon... Wii, DS... They have the most devoted fan base out of the lot, and have a STERLING line-up of games confirmed for the next year, and already have great titles as is. The idea that nintendo might go out of business, or that the wii u will "fail" is unrealistic. It might not sell as well as PS4 or X one but, as I heard before "It's a gamecube, not a virtual boy". Although, I haven't seen any ads for the Wii U since LAUNCH in the uk, except when I was abroad i saw one for Wind Waker HD on MTV. I'm getting a Wii U this xmas and while all my friends are getting PS4's, some of them are planning for Wii U in the next year.

EXCLUSIVES.

Re: Leaked Ubisoft Games Confirmed, but Skipping Nintendo Platforms

IRNBRU115

I think ubisoft don't understand that people buy a system because they prefer the games... not just the specs. That's why Rayman Legends sold where ZombiU didn't... because people who buy nintendo systems like platformers, and games like valiant hearts. I'm a bit bummed that Liberation aint coming to Wii U, but i've already played it on Vita anyway soooo. It was like this at the beginning of 3DS, what with AC for 3DS being turned into Luberation. Such a shame.
