@sillygostly I wouldn't worry about the battery too much (not short term anyways). I got my copy of Crystal about 3 years ago, and the battery in it still works (I'll have to check again but it was working just fine a few months ago). Now, long term, yes, I can understand being worried. Have you tried emulating it? If you have a controller and an Android or PC (or the Nvidia Shield Portable), then it's sort of like playing the actual game, somewhat. And the added benefit of not having to worry about the battery, among other things.

@PokemaniacJOK I don't see Z coming out this year. Pokemon is extremely great and all (ORAS was sheer amazement), but I don't think a yearly release cycle works for it. XY was arguably the weakest title in the series (it did some impressive things but in my opinion, and in the opinions of quite a few other people I know, it felt like it had twice as many regressions as it did progressions), and it feels too early for Z, since it might be representing just what GF can do with Kalos. In fact, to my knowledge, ORAS was crippled by time constraints (no Emerald styled Battle Frontier), unless that was just rumor. Also, there's that new PMD. Sales could conflict if they released Z and PMD at the same time. That's just my two cents, could be entirely wrong on all of this.

I love how this game has essentially caused a civil war on this site. I don't get why this game gets so much hate. Where's the hatred for the Dead or Alive series, and most mainstream anime (even Dragonball had a lot of fanservice). I'm sure 99% of people here have seen some form of porn intentionally, and let's look at this fact- who are the real creeps/immature people here: the ones that enjoy female anatomy, or the ones that resort to name calling and pointless bashing to insult those that do?

I don't see why people are opposed to this at all. Ran the mod today, made myself a custom theme, and now I have a SNES and GBC in my pocket with actual controls. Even learned a few things about the 3DS and photoshop today, so eh. Honestly, the theming alone was worth it. Does anyone know if custom themes get removed after the homebrew gets patched away?

@rjejr The day 3DS games get crippled by the 2DS is the day I dread seeing most. There are a lot more 3DS and ups in the wild than there are 2DS's from what I've seen.

@Pokefanmum82 I'd personally love a Pokemon MMO. It's literally the perfect concept. New players could join in and not have to worry about never catching up, and it could be played solo, co-op, or competitively with ease, if they took the main series formula. I could probably do a better job of explaining it but meh.

@rjejr Prepare yourself for lost days. I made the "mistake" of getting back into Skyrim a few weeks ago, now I have 2 files started within that time frame, one of which has 100+ hours on it, and the other of which has 80+ hours on it. It is a brilliant game though, just stupid easy to lose sense of time with.

Alright so, one thing to say. As somebody that LOVES Skyrim, I do want to point this out- Why wasn't Skyrim bashed for its horrible FPS? Frames drop all the time on my Xbox, and that game has a cosmic asston of graphical errors (mainly with water textures, sometimes the ground doesn't load though). I don't understand why it's ok for Skyrim to be perfectly fine, but god forbid we see a single frame drop in this game. Admittedly I haven't really kept up on this game, so if it goes deeper than that, let me know.

@AtomiCartridge Bearing in mind I don't see myself buying this (if the GAMEPLAY looks good, maybe, I'm that one person that doesn't really want porn games though), I'm pretty sure most people that watch anime's parents know that's the type of stuff they're probably at least somewhat into, in some cases at least. Hell, me and my dad joke about it every now and then. There is this thing called moderation, plus, who cares? What's worse, playing it, or coding it? (Rhetorical question)

@Crimzonlogic Your best bet would probably be a fighting game, since a lot of dudes in those fight shirtless. Iirc, Final Fantasy Mobius (Mobile only) has a very fanservicey male lead. can't remember for sure though, plus I don't know when it's coming out.

@WaveBoy Metroid II is why I'm not a fan of Metroid, made the massive mistake of playing that one first.

I saw Celia and Vesta in the top picture and got excited, then read the article and got disappointed (game itself doesn't look bad at all to me, but why must you tease us with those characters, Nl D:)

I think I would cry if A Wonderful Life got redone in HD, or at least the town and people were reused for a Wii U or 3DS release (just please be in 3D, Harvest Moon DS was really fun but holy crap, 3D Harvest Moon was awesome). I spent a lot of hours on that game back in the days, like scarily so. That and Magical Melody. God now I feel nostalgic ;-;

@Mega719 Noob question of the day, maybe they have multiple smaller dev teams that work on each separate one? Or maybe the games just don't take as long to make as other AAA titles? (I know game development isn't easy or fast)

I'm glad about the inclusions of these 2, but at the same time, this killed all hopes of getting Zero (Megaman) into the game. Here's to praying Nintendo opens up to more 3rd parties for Smash so that maybe Zero can make it, even though he didn't have much of a chance beforehand. bit of a Zero fan

@TheAceofMystery You would despise my friend Damien, he used to go on legit rants ending in depression on his end about how Smash Bros. ignores more obscure characters and only chooses popular characters/fan favorites. He would like seriously talk about how he hates Sakurai and Nintendo for it. His reaction to Gardevoir being a pokeball again was just.. shudders

@JaxonH I can't see them announcing Z. Would potentially cannibalize Super Mystery Dungeon sales, unless they announced it just to give us the finger and say it's due winter of next year.

@Jumpman Not going to be surprised if it's N3DS only. Even with the cut down detail, it's probably more than the 3DS can handle. There's still hope though, personally hoping I'm entirely wrong.

@TJF588 Was the game Smash? And are you on an old 3DS? If so, it's because of Smash.
