I just want to be able to play as Roo again Roo and Shiva both weren’t unlockable despite being in the game. And Max’s new design wasn’t playable either. I thought it was odd once you beat him you couldn’t use him...

Sounds wonky and confusing just by reading the script. I also find it ironic that one written note about it being too explicit when they used the terms “making love” and not sex and the portion above that was about her friend cheating on her spouse...
Either way this all seems like an April Fool’s gig with the shameless NL plug. But was a bit entertaining to read.

I couldn’t agree with this article more. The Switch is lacking so many things that are mentioned here. I forgot how much I miss street pass. And with the addition of the switch lite (which is more of a DS replacement since it cannot dock) street pass would make sense. These little things make the over all quality of life better. I’m always bewildered when Nintendo goes backwards. I mean didn’t we have folders on the Wii and WiiU? Just like how we can’t even message friends anymore lol. Which was there in the form of Miiverse on the WiiU but even the Wii had messaging to friends. It’s so... confusing. Like how hard would it be to add these little things to please fans and make the Switch more appealing, especially when so much of it has been offered before...

What an interesting question... because it doesn’t stop us from an already dead IP just not coming back. Personally I would say a new F-zero or Excitebike. Hell if it’s my wish just gimme a Smash Kart with all the Nintendo Racing IP’s combined and we can kill off... Kid Icarus 😂 don’t think I’ve played a single game of that IP.

Idk... I’d almost put Crash as number one. Due to the online experience and how they handled continuously releasing additional content. The content as a whole is insane and includes way more than MK8D as it’s more than just a remake of one game. It even includes all the tracks of the second game and then some! But I’m slightly biased in that I’m tired of playing the same Mario Kart for... 7 years now? since I bought it back on the WiiU as well as it’s DLC.

I’m still disappointed in the unlockable characters... I have yet to buy this game because of that factor.

Hmm... I cannot agree with the gripes about sequels. I mean the Switch has given us new titles in existing IP’s in a very new way (BotW and Mario Odyssey). Those had very “new” ideas that turned out really well. But I CAN understand about the port gripes. Or even the lack of new games in general despite all their resources no longer split between a home console and a handheld console. I mean the only new title we are getting in the first half of the year is Mario Golf. They just keep bringing over the WiiU ports like they did to GameCube on the Wii. I’m all for these good games getting a second shot, especially since most have come with a decent amount of additional content or all DLC included. But... I also want new games too 😂 Especially since I beat the majority of the ports on the WiiU and don’t want to rebuy or replay them again.

I’m not into sims games as much but this has my attention!

Well said Mitch. I think in terms of Nintendo IP’s or exclusives it doesn’t help that BOTW did so well. For those of us anticipating it on the WiiU and watching it get pushed back... twice? And then end up being this amazing launch game for the Switch/dual release for the WiiU really did make the wait worth it. Especially since we got snippets along the way. Then we have cases like Bayonetta 3 or Prime 4 and all we have is a title or a logo. Even BOTW2 they’ve only given us a rough trailer. And we still haven’t heard a peep on whatever new IP Retro was working on for Nintendo before taking over Prime 4. And outside of the games, we ever getting that Mario Movie 😂? As a Smash fan I have always enjoyed the slow reveals of who was going to be in the next one. And Smash Ultimate blew everyone away haha. But I like your article and I agree with it.

Y’all smoking something if a port/remake is #2 😂 and I know that BOTW was meant for the WiiU only initially and got forever delayed. But I doubt the majority of WiiU and Switch owners played it on the WiiU... in my mind it’s a Switch launch game and they only released it on the WiiU cuz they said they would lol. But man, most of these games in this list I never played. I liked the list overall and I know I can change by votes but the current #1 and #2 are iffy lol.

Nothing like the big company’s stealing the little guys ideas and getting away with it... I mean Disney’s been doing it for decades.

I got the Switch version on launch day but it is so hard to text in handheld mode compared to the phone. So I haven’t played it much on Switch. I guess if I had a wireless USB keyboard then it would be ideal to play it on the TV.

I definitely want Fall Guys on the Switch! They gave us Among Us, that’s the only other indie I want that I can’t access on the Switch.

I think the concept/partnership with Lego is awesome but aside from the working TV one I really don’t like the character designs of these game ones.

I’m so excited they’re bringing this spinoff back! It was a missed launch opportunity for the WiiU in my opinion. My guess with online is it will be similar to animal crossing. Maybe we can view our friends photo albums and leave comments or reactions. Gifts would be cool too!

I get not coming with a HDMI cord but no charger... smh. I’ve been wanting one with a charger for awhile now so I don’t have to keep unhooking mine and resetting it up. I often take my Switch over to friends and family. While it is the easiest to transport out of any system I started doing that with, a spare dock with charger would make it ideal.

Oh bummer... it looked really cool and reminded me of a game I use to play on the 64. But that review makes it a pass for me.
