Alongside the announcement of Gen IV remakes for Switch of Pokémon (Brilliant) Diamond and (Shining) Pearl back in February 2022, The Pokémon Company also revealed a totally new Pokémon adventure which released on Friday 28th January 2022: Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Set in the Sinnoh region long, long ago, it's your job to compile the region's very first Pokédex as you explore what looks to be a semi-open world hunting and documenting the Pocket Monsters you find in the wild. More than showing us the olden days of the Pokéverse, this new style of Pokémon game offers a fresh take on a familiar mainline formula that fans have been enjoying for 25 years now.
You can see how the game compares to previous Pokémon entries by checking out our review (spoilers: we like it).
Below, we've rounded up the best deals on Pokémon Legends: Arceus available on both sides of the pond. And if you can't get enough Pokémon action on Switch, don't miss the best deals for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl on Switch.

Im really excited for this but I haven't seen enough of it to pre-order it yet
Thank you! Just pre-ordered on Best Buy for the US release ^.^
Preorder a game a year in advance without even knowing about store exclusive bonuses? Am I missing something?
I really liked where Legends was going, if I could change anything from it I would like it to be more action based kind of like FF7 Remake.
That Base price is insane, I'll wait for further details though in case there's any particular offerings.
As of late, I've been getting burnt by pre-ordering first-party Nintendo games early, because closer to release they suddenly reveal special editions or SteelBook editions, or something.
Feels like a risky pre-order at this stage. Biding my time.
And **** that figurine. That should be an amiibo.
Preordered on Amazon already as soon as I was able to do so. I’m glad Nintendo decided to release the game for my birthday. Can’t wait to celebrate turning 33 with a mature game like this. Lol.
Seriously though, I’m hoping this game is what I want out of a Pokemon game. So far, it seems like it.
I would order it from My Nintendo Store UK, if their site actually worked.
Their site is in terrible shape and it makes it impossible to actually place any orders, payment details are refused despite being completely valid and this issue has persisted for months.
It's a joke of a service that they can't fix an utmost critical issue like taking payments.
Where to preorder articles: Hey, Gamers, did you know Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop sell video games?
Ill just wait till it comes out and watch some gameplay videos first.
Base £42 is really tempting for preorder!!
I don’t pre order games in general. Even Nintendo games. I prefer to wait and see the reviews
Day one purchase, love the new direction and art style for this, will have a lot of fun roaming around this open world.

At £42.42 this is the cheapest I've found
I'm surprised you didn't list the Pokemon Store as an option, they're giving away an Arceus plush with preorders.

It will be nice if there was a European section as well for us in Europe.
Absolutely no pre-order bonuses from any Canadian retailer. I'm so sick of Nintendo giving us absolutely nothing. The UK gets every kind of bonus there is, and while America still got something, even they don't seem to get anywhere near the level of preorder bonuses that Nintendo UK offers. But yeah, Nintendo doesn't even think Canada exists so we get shafted again and again.
@hypercoyote Yeah this happens all the time on NintendoLife. They don’t really research what the best option for us is, they just post the sites where they can make referral link money.
maybe one day...
"Launching this Friday" - you know I could have sworn this game came out already...
Going to Walmart Friday where it will be only $50.
@nocdaes lol well for those of us who didn't break the street date, it comes out on Friday
@Bret Unless you live in America, where for some timezones the game releases a few hours early due to the simultaneous midnight Launch. For me, it comes out on Thursday I'm pretty sure.
@VoidofLight Makes me wish I lived on the west coast. I could be playing tomorrow at 9. For me it comes out at 11 but I get up at 5:30 so no playing on Thursday for me.
terrible prices and half the links don't work for the Uk anyway. Nintendo Store does not offer free-item anymore.
